What might cause rectal bleeding in a 20-something male on a monthly basis? No jokes, please.?
A friend of mine has experienced regular rectal bleeding on an approximately monthly basis for a year or so now. There’s no pain, but a reasonable flow of blood from his rectum. What might be the cause of this? No jokes, please.

This is one of those questions that cannot be answered on Yahoo Answers. Your friend needs to go see his doctor and get checked out ASAP – it could be something very serious.
does he have anal sex? could be hemorrhoids or even rectal cancer which is mostly painless until it is very bad…needs to go to the doc for a look see…
dont push so hard next time, treat him like a person and not a sex object.
It could be any of a number of things; hemmoroids, ulcer, etc. Best bet is that he see a good Gastro-intestinal Doc to get diagnosed and treated.
Rectal bleeding is usually the result of a harder or larger than average bowel movement. The fact that it happens once a month could just be coincidence. However, some types of cancer or other dangerous conditions cause rectal bleeding. I’d tell him to check with a doctor to be sure it’s nothing serious. Does he eat a certain food around the same time every month?
have him check for hemorrholds.
tell your "mate" 2 go to the doctor
