the whole colon cleansing thing is a farce…..
it is a scam..
talk to your physician before doing this
we have had people coming in totally incrediably ill from doing this, heart problems from potassium depletion, dehydration..esp now that it is summer,,, the products dehydrate you while you get the runs…it is not healthy..the only time it is advocated is before a colonoscopy…and then you are given a prescribed product that has some electrolytes

A friend of mine once gave me a quart jar full of something he said would clean out my system, but I should be close to the bathroom after I drank it. He was right. It was a half a quart of prune juice, and half a quart of epsom salts. And I did feal better. I hope this helps.
BEFORE EATING ANYTHING FOR THE DAy.
Try this, but you’ve got to be free to RUN to the BR for a couple hours.
1 qt (32oz) lukewarm water
2 TABLEspoons natural SEA SALT (not the Morton’s in the kitchen)
Dissolve salt in water. Drink all of it within a few minutes. You’ll be pleased with the results, and it works fast, cheap, and easy.
Do this a few days in a row for total cleansing.
NO, don’t worry about too much salt. The Natural Sea Salt dissolved in water has a different balance than table salt and although it tastes very salty, is not absorbed into the system the same way.
SO, you’re not getting a salt overload. It flushes through.
This won’t dehydrate you or cause some of the other problems listed here as 2 hours or so later it’s totally through your system.
