What could be causing my rectal pain and bleeding?
I’ve had rectal pain and / or bleeding for a couple of years now, off and on. It goes away for several days or weeks, but then comes back again. Yesterday I had alot of rectal bleeding, I didn’t go to the ER because it stopped after a few seconds and also, I’m just now getting health insurance, I’ve been approved already, but don’t have the card yet with all the necessary info. Today I had a little more rectal bleeding, not too much. It was after having a bm, I saw blood in the toilet and on the toilet paper. I’m having some rectal pain now. I’m wanting to make an appointment with a gastroenterologist that specializes in hemmoroids, colon cancer etc, but am wating to have the health insurance card in my hand as they require health insurance. In the meantime, could anyone who’s had similar symptoms or who knows someone’s has had these symptoms give me a clue as to what it could be? Another important thing to mention is that these symptoms started soon after I had my baby about 2 years ago and they’ve been off and on since then. Thanks in advance.

Sounds like you have a case of hemorrhoids, you need to go see your Ob/Gyn and have yourself checked out, it’s either that or you have some kind of tumor or something inside of your tract. Health card or not, you need to see a doctor about it,you may have waiting too long already so get help for it now.
It sounds like hemorrhoids. Many women get them when/after they have a baby.
The doctor will help you find out if that is indeed the problem and remove them. Surgery is the best way. It’s quick and thorough.
It could be Hemorrhoids…

Might be hemorrhoids which is common for a woman to get after giving birth, but should be treated promptly. If the bleeding is plenty, my advice to you is to go to the ER instead of waiting for an appointment with a gastroenterologist. Excess bleeding can cause you to be anemic. My advice to you, don’t wait too long to get treated. Even though hemorrhoids are common, they could have serious complications.
I agree the other commenters. It does sound like hemorrhoids. But what you should do is check with your doctor to make sure.
