		<description>A small bowel follow through uses contrast and x-ray (fluoroscopy). You drink the contrast material and the Radiologist takes pictures as it moves through your digestive system. It shows much greater detail of the inner lining of the bowel (which a CT scan isn&#039;t very good for). The Radiologist can also press on your abdomen to help separate out the intestines and take more detailed pictures if needed.</description>
