I am interested in trying body detox program to remove toxins from my body….like a colon cleanse. Are they medically significant or just a fad?
from the natural cures book..i dont suggest buying it, go to the bookstore, browse through it and take notes..i did it, but there are ways to detox your body and cleanse the body but which ones are recommended.besides juice diets, and taking laxatives.which are healthier and more beneficial?
you guys are hilarious..no its not constipation, its just cleansing my body of toxins, to see if i feel different. i poo fine..and thank you tissa, lol.
My mother had Stage 3 Uterine Cancer, which she had a total hysterectomy and all organs were removed in October, and she finished her last chemo on April 29th, but just this week was back in hospital for partial lower bowel obstruction and fluid build up in abdomen, especially around liver.
The good thing is they drained the fluid and the obstruction was not large, but I was wondering if all this could be a way her body is trying to rid itself of toxins from radiation and chemo. She is feeling weak, so I was wondering about any good regimens for helping her to cleanse her system and detox to get stronger and get rid of the toxins?
I already found out about Milk Thistle and Dandelion for the liver, so if any other remedies are known please share!!
Thanks so much.
only answer if you fasted before, because you`ll know the good that comes with it.
THE GOODNESS OF FASTING:
fasting is a multidimensional experience. Physiologically, refraining from eating minimizes the work done by the digestive organs, including the stomach, intestines, pancreas, gallbladder, and liver. Most important here is that our liver, our body’s large production and metabolic factory, can spend more time during fasting cleaning up and creating its many new substances for our use. Breakdown of stored or circulating chemicals is the basic process of detoxification. The blood and lymph also have the opportunity to be cleaned of toxins as all the eliminate functions are enhanced with fasting. Each cell has the opportunity to catch up on its work; with fewer new demands, it can repair itself and dump its waste for the garbage pickup. Most fasters also experience a new vibrancy of their skin and clarity of mind and body.
the thing i need to know would be to rethink the method i`m doing it, what i listed was the benefits that come from TRUE faster, aka the water, lemon mix mostly just by drinking water.
here is my question, by drinking v8, will that be cheating even if i do it once, i feel like that is cheating since i will still be making my body work out that of my system, i`m starting today, and going for 12 day
Ok so i did a acne free in 3 days. It worked wonders for me, My face looks clear now and i barely have acne breakouts. Only those small pimples that u can barely see. My cystic acne is gone to. Nothing ever worked for me then doing the apple fast for 3 days. I suffered with severe acne for couple years already. I found this ebook i got it for free and i did everything that the guy sayed on it. Eating apples on for 3 days, drinking sh*t loads of water and doing enemas. So yeah my skin looks really good. Even scars faded after i did the clease. So i finally understand why i was getting acne for all of those years, its because of the toxins. For years i was putting that benzoyl peroxide crap on my face witch helped but still acne was just appearing and appearing everyday. I even changed my diet. That only helped little bit but when i finally did the apple fast my acne improved 95 percent. I barely get any breakouts. I still want to get rid of those toxins in my body again. I did the apple fast and allot of toxins came out from my body. Is there any good cheap colon cleanse products to clean out the toxins. I don’t want to do the apple fast again because i am a body builder and i dont want to lose muscles and plus i cant stand apples anymore cuz i had to eat sh*t loads of them for 3 days but it was worth it and the other thing it says he cured his acne in 3 days, it didn’t cure my acne in 3 days but it improved it by 95 percent. I still get little acne because i think i didn’t remove all the toxins. So is there any other ways that u can remove toxins from the body.
so im on my second day of the lemonade diet and apparently i’ve lost ten pounds already? i had my mom step on the scale to make sure the scale was right because she knows exactly what her weight was and the scale was right.
but i didnt exactly go on the diet to lose weight, really just to clean out all the toxins in my body and colon but lost ten pounds..in two days. not normal… i mean i know its not a big deal because its probably all water weight and will come right back but water weight is never that much weight and i read about how people usually lose 20 pounds max on the 10 day diet. but i wanted to go on it for exactly 2 weeks but if i already lost this much, will i lose a lot more staying on it for that long… now i dont know if i should stay on it for that long.
any suggestions?
I know that this is used for prepping for a colonoscopy, but could I use it if i wanted to flush out my system…as an alternative to enema? in the process of flushing my colon, wouldnt i clear my body of certain toxins and lose a few pounds in the process? I am 31 years old (dont know if that is important)…what do you think?
My body feels slugglish, im feeling unwell alot also slightley overweight, after xmas i want to slim down and ‘detox’ the body and colon…im not to sure what to believe, i’ve read the body gets rid of toxins on its own, but i’ve also read a good fast on fruits and water is good for the body (in moderation) So im unsure have you ever detoxed? if so how did you do it and what excercises did you find useful for weight loss? Anybodys opinion welcome best answerr 10points xxx
Which brand actually works, and is safe?
By the way, I’m 16, so is it safe for me to use it?
Thanks!
Well, my toxins don’t come out regulalrly…
And I drink about 3 or 4 water bottles a day. (Not sure how many cups/oz that is.)
Apparently I can lose as much as six pounds in one week just by cleansing my colon. And it must be an issue, because there is no shortage of people out there who are more than willing to help me. I guess maybe all those toxins are worth something to someone. Is it worth quitting my good aerospace job to pursue a career cleansing colons?
You guys are killing me! This is hysterical!
i am about 5’8, 127. I used to smoke about half-a-pack a day, but haven’t had one in months. I eat kinda bad. I sleep horribly, therefore am always tired and groggy, Do you think I have a lot of toxins and should do a detox program, maybe a colon cleanse? if so do you know any good programs?
I see a weight loss/cosmetic dr every tuesday.
After mentioning my irregular bowl movement he recommended
a 15 day colon cleansing pill..He said it was all natural & couldn’t hurt.
Anyone know the facts?
Is it really good for helping remove toxins…
& what should i expect to…well come out?
I’m a little desperate here because Ive tried every possible diet just to lose some 10-15 pounds and nothing has worked. I’m exercising and just eating healthily right now because I don’t know what else to do. I’ve suffered from constipation my entire life and I think it could be a factor, so im thinking about trying a detoxifying diet, but I wanted to know your experiences with them and how do they work. I’ve read about people achieving results with a Colon Cleanser and Acai Berry. I think my body could be full of toxins because I go to the bathroom like 2 times a week (i know, thats bad). Please, tell me anything you know!
sooo…im have very bad stomach aches and my stomach is ALWAYS and i mean ALWAYS growling for no reason. im not hungry or stuffed and i have very balanced meals. i was wondering if i just need to get rid of all the toxins in my body because maybe that might be the problem. i saw this diet on martha stewart and was wondering when i take this cleanse, will it cause growling also? i know bowel movement is to occur but will growling occur?
thanks:)
I’m looking to clean out my colon and pretty much my whole body. I don’t want to buy any pills or anything. or do some program. I want to do it at home so I can have all day or a couple days to get rid of the toxins. Any suggestions?
I need to clean out my colon due to build up of toxins. What is a good safe pill to take to do that?
I’ll start off with some background info: I am 24 yrs old and had a baby 15 months ago. Prior to having my daughter, I have had my moments where I’ve lost a lot of weight and got to a point where I could run a mile and a half but that’s exactly what they were….moments…for the most part I haven’t really been in the best shape I could be in. Since having my daughter my lifestyle has gotten much more unhealthy. I am up 60 lbs from pre-pregnancy weight (that just jerked a tear out of me) and can’t exercise like I used to be able to. I don’t eat many fruits and veggies and I am classified as "extremely obese." I do a lot of yo-yo exercising (start for a little while then stop for a long while) and to make matters worst, most of my weight is in my mid-section. When I had my last physical (5 years ago) I had borderline cholesterol (that was about 50lbs ago so I wouldn’t be surprised if I tipped the scale by now). I am absolutely sick and tired of this lifestyle and I know that if I continue on this route I probably won’t be around to see my grandchildren. I have decided to become a raw foodist and am in the process of doing all my research before I begin.
So here’s my question: I have very little energy and elimination problems. I know it is because of all the toxins that are in my body due to my poor diet and lack of fiber. They say the average person is walking around with 10-15 lbs of feces in them so I feel that I probably have twice or thrice that amount. I really want to completely detoxify my body and colon before beginning my new diet. I don’t know if I should buy some type of detox program or just start the diet and let it do its job.
Your suggestions are appreciated.

Mercedes, I appreciate your answer but I disagree that eating raw is just a fad. There are people who have been doing it for years and years and its NOT something new. Also, this is not "a diet" for me, this is what I want my diet to be for the rest of my life.
Also, I got down to 160lbs once and during that time I did a detox program and the benefits of it were obvious and undeniable. My acne that I have had all my life cleared up, I had an amazing amount of energy and didn’t feel hungry at all. I just didn’t stick with it and eventually reverted back to my old ways.
I am thinking of cleaning my liver, kidney, stomach, intestines from toxins. I am thinking of Colon Irrigation therapy. Has anyone tried that. Is it effective and how many treatments would I need in total. Are there any side effects. Do some recommend me a good place for colon irrigation therapy in Tyne and Wear, North East England, UK. Thanking all of you for your advices.
