Ok, so I have 6 weeks to lose as much weight as I can…so this is going to be the inconventional way. I don’t usually do this..but it’s an emergency weight loss thing.
My idea is…1,200 calories a day…1-2 hours of working out per day. I will be getting colon therapy to flush my system and get me energized..and to kick start things..I’m going to do a lemon cleanse thing for 4 days. That’s all. Just to flush and refresh me. I’ll be drinking caffeine free teas and a special lemonade drink.
After that my idea is to cut out sugar COMPLETELY from my diet. And I need tips on realllllllllly healthily "gross" food.
Haha..basically..I’m thinking TONS of veggies…some fruits..the only grains I can have is plain oatmeal…no caffeine…only water or caffeine free tea without sugar….
But I remember my Dad , when he dieted, would just eat tuna out of the can..etc. I’m looking as these next 6 weeks as just eating food to survive. I don’t care if it tastes good..I just want to be able to get enough that my body needs and stay within 1,200 calories. Tips?? or do I have it mostly down? Did I forget anything?
I’m 5’4 198…and looking to get down to 170ish in 6 weeks. I don’t think it’s healthy to go further than that…20-25 pounds is enough. They say to only lose up to 2 pounds a week..but I’m really heavy so losing more isn’t going to kill me. Before, I would consume 1,600 a day and I lost 2.5 a week starting from 198 and got to 173..and I didn’t workout at ALL..so I already know I can lost 2.5 pounds EASILY without even trying that hard…per week.
I’m looking for a way to cleanse and detox, preferably the natural way. I cannot afford a detox kit at this time but if I need to get one, I hopefully can next week.
I’m very clogged up, I havent been able to get regular after an antibiotic in December and now its left me uncomfortably bloated. I had an ultrasound done inside the girly parts but it was discovered my discomfort source is a full colon.
I just downed some apple cider vinegar, but I don’t really know anyone that has been effective for (only my mom has tried it and she wont stick with it) but I am willing to try it as its all I have. I’ve got some Celestial Seasonings Tummy Mint tea, and I think some Pukka(?) tea meant for detoxing and cleansing that I will try (I was looking for tea with fennel and found these, I’ve also got 2 packets of a different tea with fennel I’m going to try later today). If someone has any experience with these teas or another for cleansing, let me know.
I had violent pain the one time I used a laxative so I’m not very keen on trying that again, so any suggestions for good natural/organic products would be helpful, thanks.

Ok so im going to detox and colon cleanse my body. I’ve been doing lots of research and I got it down of what to eat and what not. BUT i am still confused because ive read in some places i should avoid coffee and tea, but ive also read teas like green tea and chamomile is good for you. What do you guys think?
bowel movements and colon cleansing?
weight management?
energy?
I love tea anyway, I have a cabinet full of bagged teas of many varieties and flavors, brands so I’ll always drink tea.
Also, with that, how much is too much tea? is there a such thing as drinking too much of tea?
i ask about the colon cleansing thing because green tea and sometimes white tea makes me go. depending on what I eat, my bowel will come out pretty quick (TMI I know)
Thin Kabout it, I agree, tea is delicious in all it’s forms which is why I have a cabinet full of it.
I am diabetic and I want to do a cleanse before I start changing my diet for weight loss. But a lot of them require you to fast and I can’t b/c I am diabetic. Do you know of any cleansing drinks or teas that are okay for diabetics?
My bowel movements are quite regular but I have read that undigested food can get stuck in ur intestine (stuff that is not eliminated in regualar bowel movement).
What foods or teas can I consume to get all this junk out??
Thnx
yeah i do eat all that but smth more firbous. Those are just regular foods that I eat everyday and I didn need to goto nursing skool to realize that.
Soo… some people say you should have them every day huh? Well, I have to say that I have one EVERY NOW AND THEN… Im talking days inbetween, possibly weeks. I haven’t ever really kept track but I have thought about doin so b/c no one really believes me. I just don’t "go" and I was wondering if any of you out there think I should be concerned. Better yet, what might cause this.
I am just at a loss for words. Im not that sensitive to any certain foods either so I can’t use that as a laxative. Apple juice does nothing. I drank a couple laxative teas one time to do a cleanse and that didnt even work.
I’ve only taken one laxative pill in my life and will never do that again! I had thee worst cramps I have ever had. I would have much rather been dead.
Anyone else out there like this?
Does anyone know of any colon cleansers I could use or any teas and websites? THX!
ok, is there anyone who knows a way to do a natural at home colon cleanse. See, i am going on a 15-21 day fast to detoxify my body. If i am not eating, there is nothing that will make me have bowels movements exept if i have a colon cleanse. anyone know of any variations or alternative teas to drink to have frequent bowel movements while on a juice fast.
Is there a way to cleanse or at least have MUCH better bowel movements without the use of doctors, special pills and wierd teas?
I mean like any normal foods/drinks or even positions….I ask this because lately I have been having sluggish bowels and constipation, but don’t want to use any medicine/pills/clinical procedures and just stick to a natural way.
No Scanner I didn’t know…what’s wrong with using straight water with an enema
I have been suffering from bloating, constipation, and gas for the last 2 weeks now. I am wondering if I can find colon detox (pills, supplements, or teas) in a local store? (Like Walgreens) Or is it my best bet to buy the one off the internet?
