Is It really that important, could I die from a horrifying disease. I really just want to exercise be healthy, And take my supplements. I can’t imagine having to take this kind of shit every year.

just drinking water or fasting or anything. How can I do a complete body/colon cleanse without stopping eating? Higher intake of vegetables and less meat I’d guess but how do you keep your body regular clean and smelling fresh from the inside out for good? Are there supplements to help as well? What removes toxins the best? What about bowel movements? How do you make them regular and not horrible? I wanna try detoxing but I need to eat and go to school and work two jobs.

I want to be sure it works before i spend my money, if anyone has used any supplements or anything please let me know the results.

I want to lose at least 20 pounds by March. I know it’s possible, but what would I have to do to lose this weight. I have a colon cleanser and acai burn, so how can i use these 2 supplements to also help me lose weight. Thanks a ton!!

Is there any truth to the benefits for muscle building, fat loss and metabolism boosting from taking Acai berry supplements with colon cleansing detox simultaneously?

i was just wondering if there are any success stories from using these two supplements? I have completely changed my lifestyle over the past few weeks, I have quit smoking (best thing i have ever done, will never smoke again!)and I have changed my diet dramatically, no crap just proper healthy food, aswell as this i am taking acai and colax colon cleanse. I feel great, I have had two colonics and everyone keeps telling me how healthy i look, just wondered if anyone else is trying these supplements and what is ya feedback?

I just wanted to know if its necessary to take a colon cleanser with the acai berry supplements.
I know what a colon cleanser does and I can not risk constantly using the restroom with my vigorous schedule.
I will begin proper dieting and exercising as well but i wanted to know if anyone had results with just the acai berry alone.

and is the acai berry power 500 the best?
which is the best form? pill? or liquid?

Thanks.

I started using a cleansing product recommended by an herbalist that I get my vitamins from. The first few days all I noticed was increased bowel movements. Now I am sick to my stomach, cramping, diarrhea. Are these possible side affects? I thought maybe just a bug, but we are going on day three of these intermittent symptoms and I have never had a flu bug go that long. Is it possible that these supplements have flushed out the helpful bacteria in my colon? And yes I did stop taking!!!

Im 19 years old and im just trying to loose 7-10 pounds of fat (im 5′5 and weigh 126lbs, iv been working out and trying to eat healthier but this weight just wont come off. Would it be safe to take the supplements for a short period of time? Im usually against substances but reviews iv read are so positive.

Ok.. I’ve tried to do a little research on this, and the internet is filled with a myriad of products, plans, etc. claiming to cleanse the colon and detox your system. I am not sure what to think. Are supplements really necessary? If so, are there products out there that are safe, with no "fillers", etc.? Obviously I realize a healthy diet and exercise are a must. I am just looking for a plan to detox my system and clean out the colon… There are so many things out there.. and I’ve also heard scary stories about "natural" products…does anyone have personal experience and/or reliable advice about this? Thanks so much
btw, I already eat plenty of fiber, fresh fruit/veg, and exercise daily.
I want to thank everyone for taking the time to answer. If the general consensus is that a "program" is not necessary, then is there something I can do with diet/fasting for 1-2 days to achieve the same effect? As mentioned, my diet is healthy (includes lots of fiber) and I exercise daily- but too often I still feel "backed up" (sorry, I know it’s not a pretty topic!)

I need to lose weight not only in my stomach, but some from my arms and my especially my thighs. Can I stop taking the supplements when I reach my desired weight and not have my body mess up? Should I take just the acai, just the colon cleanse, or both together? Please help with my questions. Thanks!
Will it help me burn and lose fat off the areas I want? Which is better, acai berry or colon cleansing? I’m a little skeptical about colon cleansing though. I don’t want to lose too much weight, but I definately need to lose some and I want to look and feel great. Please help. Thanks!

I’ve been hearing a lot about colon cleansing and the benefits of doing it, but before I sink my money into these supplements I would like to know if anyone has tried one and do they do all they say they can. My stomach is bloated and I’m wondering if its because of excess waste in my colon that I can’t get rid of.

Please only people that have tried something answer.

I have heard the Acai berry and Colon cleanse "diet" works really well. I am iffy on taking these supplements – do they work? what kind of effects will it have? If I take this am I going to be in the bathroom all day and night?

I suffer from IBS, and it is really starting to take it’s toll on my social and family life. It only really affects me when it’s time to leave the house (when my adrenaline levels are elevated), and it is making me miserable. I haven’t been out to eat with my hubby and kids in a couple years at least, because the "flare ups" make me miserable and shake and sweat and I can’t possibly eat. I don’t have health insurance, so a doctor’s prescription isn’t an option. Are there any supplements that I can take or "home remedies" that will help me? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. I’m willing to try just about anything to get my life back!
I’ve had this problem for most of my life, but it has gotten significantly worse since I had my gallbladder removed in December of ‘04. It is much more painfuul now (to the point I feel faint).

…And I was wondering what some good meats to eat while I prepare to wind down… I’m doing three days of normal diet (protein, veggies, fresh veggie juice), two days of just veggies and juice, one day of just juice, and then my detox which is 5 days of nothing but the provided supplements to support the colon and liver, and the rest to help sweep out the colon. The last 3 of those 5 days will include fresh veggie juice along with the loads of water I’ll already be drinking.. But, the question is, what meats should I be eating to help ween me off protein for a short span of time… I assume chicken would be an obvious, but I’m not certain. Also, what spices should I avoid before the detox? Normally, I spice my chicken with salt, pepper, chili powder mix, thyme and rosemary. (everything we eat, including the spices, is organic.. Most of which I’ve ground myself.) Thanks!!
Its a box detox and for the 5 days of the actual detox you’re not supposed to eat. So they recommend you back off food slowly so those five days aren’t so big a shock. After of course the point is to eat healthier but no food during the detox. Only water and freshly made organic veggie juice.
Gary– I’ll explain. The body gets rid of toxins, sure… But sometimes when you’ve been exposed to a number of other toxins (such as second hand smoke, heavy metals, etc.) the body needs a boost.. And for SOME people.. More than you would think, really… The colon gets backed up and thus a storage of waste, toxins, and fecal matter build up that your body simply cannot get rid of on its own. SO you do a detox… and what is the detox? Well, its a series of supplements that help your body handle this build up. In my case that means: A colon support to help the colon start moving this build up along, and to also support it while it’s working over time.. A liver support to assist the liver in detoxifying. A strong fiber to get things moving. An appetite suppressant (natural, of course) to help your body since you’re not eating (to help give your digestive system a break) and an assortment of super nutrition and vitamin C. Also, if you’re not planning on answering the question..
..Why bother to sit and tell me how it’s a scam? Obviously, I’m going to do it regardless of what you think and really you should look into something before speaking poorly of it. Hopefully I’ve managed to clarify some of that for you, though I have little doubt that you will keep on believing what you want to believe no matter what proof is laid before you. If you need further reference, feel free to check out www.detox.org
Oh, and one more thing… Do you honestly refresh your body with normal tap water? You realize that the water that comes out of your tap is loaded with Chlorine, right? FYI.. Chlorine isn’t good for your body… Not saying that bottled water is any better, but I at least try to help myself by adding a water purifier to my tap to make some sort of health conscious effort.

What did you use? Supplements? Bowel irrigation? And most importantly, what effect did it have on your overall health and quality of life?

Ive been curious of what home remedies are effective on cleaning out your colon and basically over all body. Also if you have info on some supplements one can take to clean out the colon, please let me know. thanks

im getting acai berry supplements and colon cleanse supplements from a local health food store, so the products are not a scam. has anyone tried a diet of combining those two supplements and lost weight? and if so how much?

I want to lose weight and lower my blood pressure but I don’t want to use those expensive supplements they always are advertising.

I read that an unhealthy overworked colon that does it’s job less efficiently can result in unprocessed toxins that end up reaching the joints and that building up and creating sore joint pain
- so secondly would anyone know of any effective colon cleansing supplements – Thank You very much for any help!
It’s always good to look at research done on both sides of the issue, so for anyone that’s done that, Thank you.

is there a significant difference in results with or without the supplements?

I would appreciate any help. Hoping for others who have had the same problem tell me what helped them or anyone with any ideas. Alternative treatments would be greatly appreciated but would consider others. Thanks.
The details are that I need to have bowel movements several times a day and may not have good digestion (therefore, the supplements I take may not be working as well as they should be.). Which also causes raw tissue from excessive wiping. Sorry if this is too explicit.
I have radiation colitis.

Ive heard that using colon detoxing or cleansing supplements can help to shift some excess dead weight you may be carrying…is this true??
