Okay, so I did some research and found that I have proctalgia/prostalgia fugax, a severe rectal pain lasting from five to twenty minutes to as much as an hour or more.
My pain moved from my lower extremities to the middle of my chest…a cold sweat came on, and I got really cold around the face forehead neck area…and very nauseated…could my fugax be setting me up for the big one? as in a heart attack?

I’m worried about anal cancer.

I’ve been having severe rectal pain, including off and on bleeding when I wipe. The area is very tender but there are no outside lumps. However just slightly in the opening it is red and swollen lumpy. The pain is so severe I can barely walk, shoots down my leg, and lower back.

I have been using Preperation H suppositories for two weeks with no help.

Several years ago I was diagnosed with anal warts and was treated with Aldara.

I have an appointment tomorrow to see my doctor but I’m freeking out I might have anal cancer.

Are my symptoms of severe pain, and lower back pain common with hemorrhoids?

If I do have cancer, how deadly is it?

What questions should I ask my doctor tomorrow, and what tests should I insist on?

I have severe rectal pain when defecating. The pain persists after defecating. The stool that comes out after too much pressure is very little and kind of soft. BUT there is no bleeding. I searched for Piles symptoms on internet, it has bleeding in it aswell? Is it necessary for Piles to bleed too?
WHAT IS IT :( … WHAT TREATMENT TO DO…

During my last bowel movement, as I began to pass a stool, I suddenly had extremely severe rectal pain, and I fainted. The pain is difficult to describe; the best I can say is that it’s sort of a cramp-like pain.
I wasn’t straining at all, and I am certain that the act of pushing had nothing to do with the fainting. The stool wasn’t particularly large, and I haven’t been having any problems with constipation or anything like that.

I get a mild form of this pain semi-regularly, but this is the second time it’s been so severe that I fainted. The first time was about 3 years ago.

Does anyone know what would cause this? Thanks.

I have been awakened at night by severe rectal pain (lasting about 5 painful minutes) so I looked it up and found that it’s called Proctalgia fugax, a severe, episodic rectal pain that usually occurs at night, a muscle cramp in the wrong place at the wrong time, rectal spasms or just plain pain in the anus…
It could last a few seconds to a few minutes so most people do not even report it to their doctors.

Warm baths and massages seem to relieve it but I’d like to know if any one of you people found other true and tried methods to relieve that pain in the butt fast.
I do not have IBS, I’m very regular and eat lots of fiber and have no problem my my digestive system.
