I was sick the other day, and had very little to eat. When a woke up the following day, I went to the bathroom, and was very alarmed by my stool. It was darkish red in color, and did not look "normal". Due to lack of sleep, and that being my first bowel movement since I ate the night before, I freaked out and thought I had rectal bleeding! So my mother rushed me to the E.R. and I got checked out. My blood and urine tests came back normal, as did the rectal exam. The doctor suggested getting a colonoscopy done, to see what could be wrong, if anything. I didn’t remember until a few hours later that I ate beets the night before! I was incredibly sleepy, so this little info slipped my mind when I freaked over the red stool. I really wish I would have remembered before going to the E.R.! It certainly would have saved me a lot of money, and less embarrassment!! ANYWAYS, I had about 5-6 whole beets (egg-shape), no pain, no reason to believe something could be wrong. When I seen the red stool, it was my first bowel movement since eating, and I have not experienced this since. So, is possible that what I seen came from the beets?
I haven’t called to schedule the colonoscopy yet. I’d rather not get that done, unless I see reason to. I only ate beets that day, so I’m really thinking it HAD to be the beets! Thanks for all your responses! =)
There was this show on a long time ago (not like 20 years, more like 5-6), that was a spoof/comedy skit show. the title had the word Giant(s) in it, that is the part I cannot figure out.
Some of the things that happened during this skit show are as follows:
One episode the three actors had just got done robbing a armored car, they drove the van out into the woods to split up the money. but, they become greed and begin to kill each other. only one remains and he laughs as he goes to count the money only to find that it was play money (monopoly)
The show began with the actors at a party and there was a pinata, in the corner of the room hiding under the table was the pinata’s son (or daughter?), the hanging pinata was then smashed open and the little pinata started to cry. well, later that night the guy who smashed open the pinata, goes down stairs to get something to drink when he is suddenly knocked out! he awakes to find himself hanging from the ceiling with other pinatas huddle around him, the cry pinata (from before) walks up to him and begins to hit his stomach with a bat, his intestines fall out and the pinatas eat them.
this episode takes place in the living room of one of the actors house, the actors are sitting there on the floor and one of them drops some food, a roomba (mechanized cleaning device robot thing) rolls over to it and cleans it up. one of the actors says that he does not trust them (blah, story goes on fo a while, then the guy who doesn’t trust the roombas says he is leaving), when he leaves the apartment, millions of roombas begin to attack the actors left behind, main character comes back and eventually saves them.
This all that i can give you, again it has been years since I watched this show and I really want to find it again, any assistance will do!
(and no it isn’t ‘The whitest Kids You Know’ that too is a funny show though)
I have been doing a lot of research on the so called "Mucoid Plaque" to find out how valid the claim is. All the answers all seem so black and white. We’ve got Doctors on both sides of the spectrum. Some argue that there is mucoid plaque and that it is very dangerous to have inside of us while others totally dismiss any possibility of it. It seems like either way, someone is trying to make money off of us. I really want to know what people think and if there are any Doctors (Naturopath or Modern) out there that have any advice, input, etc. I am thinking about doing a colon cleanse but keep reading about how dangerous these cleanses can be. I have also heard from people who have the mucoid plaque without being on a cleanse or fiber, etc. How does one explain that? I am neutral right now, I just want more opinions before I decide to do a cleanse or not. Logic tells me that mucoid plaque would exist in the "western diet", but I really have no idea. Either way, is it best to take my chances by not having a cleanse or to be safe than sorry and go with a cleanse?
(FYI, I eat really healthy and exercise regularly and find myself plugged up and bloated all the time. I have tried everything short of a cleanse)
Is this real or a gimmick for money? If it’s real is it safe for a breastfeeding mother?
my pet has gotten bad diarrea and loss of protein in his blood , he has had a series of tests but the veet still cant tell me whats wrong ,i feel like im getting drained of money as this is the thrid series of tests and im broke now , what can i do
Please no jokes here… But I was wondering what kind of colon cleanse you had, or you just did the lemonade diet (which I am doing, I’m at the end of my 4th day). I cannot begin to tell you how better I’m feeling after these 4 days. Unbelievable the amount of stuff that comes out, the smell!! Years and years of junk! Please like I said be serious here. Really, if you can’t be mature to discuss this question, than please do not even answer. I’m looking for people who have gone through this and the benefits they’ve had. Thanks!
no they’re not! I am actually saving a lot of money… I only use lemons, mapple syrup and cayenne pepper and I take a herbal laxative tea! I asked for people who have gone through a colon cleanse!

The price treatment for Colon Cancer is a lot of money. The treatment was done but now part of the intestine needs to be connected to replace a bag that holds the waste. If by any chance you would know how much this NEXT part would cost, please tell me an estimate if not exact.
This is very urgent & I’m not in the mood for jokes
Please This is VERY important ![]()
Thankyou so much
You see I’ve been a little constipated for some time. It might be clearing up with the raisin bran and juice. I want my colon to be completely empty. I worry that when I’m no longer constipated, that there will still be feces caked on the walls of my intestines.(constipation being a potentially non-contributing factor to this).
So, can I use an anal douche like a water bottle to clean out my colon(large intestine)? I’m not looking for a total clean just some I guess. Is this possible? Is there any major risk of doing this without a physician? Help.
P.S I won’t execute any actions based of of yahoo!answers. I know I should consult a physician about this, but I’m asking because…. I don’t have the money. I’m curious.
I heard that the average person has anywhere from 5 to 15 pounds of fecal matter build up inside their colon! (YUCK) and that a colon cleansing can get rid of that. Is that true or just junk science?
Also, if a colon cleansing is worth the money, do you have to go to a doctor to get one done or can you buy something at a drug store or health food store and do it yourself?
Thanks for any help and / or advice.
Does anyone out there know of any home remedies for colon cleansing? There are a lot of products out there and I am sure alot of them are ripoffs. I know it is a nasty subject,,but many people do it. I dont want to spend money on products that dont work, have any suggestions? Thanks
Ok so I have an ergant problem that i cant really tell my mother about unless im sure it is serious… the thing is that we are really poor and i dont want to have to waist a doctors bill on somthing like gas… I was adopted and Because im 18 now i dont think i have medical insurance sooo im screwed…
I have a pain in the very lower area of my stomach… yesterday it was only in the right side now it has spreaded about around my belly button and as im sitting here toward my back… it does apear that i have bloating or somthing and sometimes i have breakthroughs in my period (or so i think) I do get constipated sometimes well alot… but idk.. My thought is that i have irritable bowel syndrom wich is good because i wont need to go to the doctor however idk and reading up on the matter isnt helping much… i was trying to see if where it was hurting was the lower abdomen or actually in the rectal area.. because the pain started on my very right side right around were my belly button should be lined up at and under… Idk what to do we dont have money for a false alarm soo i really need a second opinion sooo what do you guys think it is… Oh and sometimes i feel a bit nutritious…

I have been looking online at the latest diets to crop up, and lately all I’ve been seeing are various versions of colon-cleansing products like the ‘One Flat Stomach Rule’ and ColoPure. Ever time I try to research the products and procedures, I only end up reading through ads and testimonials. There doesn’t seem to be any legitimate research at all! This makes me very hesitant to spend any time or money on the suggested products, because no solid evidence is provided to ensure that they really work.
My question is: has anyone out there discovered any actual scientific or medical information about any of these fad diets? I’ve lost 48 pounds in the past year, but I’ve been planteauing now for several months and I would really like to get down below a size 16. If these diets actually work, I’d like to give one a try; but I’m not going to take all these testimonials on faith alone: I want some damn evidence.

My grandmother survived colon cancer about 5 years ago. I want to do all I can to prevent it. I figured I would start by eating healthier and adding more fiber and water to my diet. I also just started taking dual action cleanse. I got it from walmart, so i didn’t pay a ton of money for it. Is it safe?

My cat seems happy, she’s13 years old, she vomits and has bloody stools all the time. She will just go anywhere in the house, including my pillow. She will be fine and all of a sudden she’s straining in the middle of the kitchen floor. She’s now starting to urinate too all over my furniture. I don’t know what to do and have taken her to the vets and her blood work and stools are normal. The next step would be to do a biopsy of her colon and I don’t want to spend that kind of money on a 13 year old cat. What can I do?
..like they get something on your ass then you bring it out of the toilet. i want to have a colon cleansing but i wanna make sure. you know doctors these generation only likes money and some don’t really care about your situation.
doctor is going to wait 5 weeks before she starts on it. She had a tumor in her colon removed. I love my mom and honestly this is the most hardest thing i am going through, she is staying with me because my father stresses her out about money. I also need some words of encouragement please.
I want to be sure it works before i spend my money, if anyone has used any supplements or anything please let me know the results.
I don’t have the money to buy an expensive colon cleanse, but my doctor gave me magnesium citrate to drink because I am so backed up that he says I have about 10 pounds of fecal matter blocking my intestines.
My question is, will this work for someone as severely backed up as me? Or will I have to save up and buy the expensive colon cleanse stuff?
My brother is experiencing a dull discomfort down where his colon would be. He does not have health insurance and reluctant to go to a Dr. to have it checked out. If he did go, what should he expect in the way of cost and having this checked out? Also if it were cancer, are there options for treatment even without ins. and money to pay? Or, will he need to suck it up and wait it out until he dies? What would happen if nothing were done? Would a radical diet change help?
