I have had a bad cough, Inflamed lungs, wheezing big time for the past 6 months and have been bleeding out my ass and also have….. light kidney pain and liver pain and always have achy muscles. The kidney and liver pain I have had for like the past 4 years but only once and awhile like every 3 or 4 months and have occasionally bleeding, but every time I start wheezing really bad and my lungs get inflamed I get rectal bleeding really bad!!!!! I went to the doctors 3 times they said I had had a cold second time a cold maybe bronchitis and asthma second time sad I had asthma flare but They WERE not sure and said I need to go to a different clinic. I never told the doctors about the bleeding and liver/kidney pain, I NEVER WENT BACK, Because Its really expensive and cant afford it.
CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHAT IT IS
She is 79 yrs old. After surgery they did not remove the large mass on her sigmoid colon because it was to vascular to remove and she would more than likely bleed to death if they tried. It will be one week since her surgery and she is still very very weak, gets out of breath with us daughters helping her to bathroom. Even when they gave her a portable pottychair to use she gets severely cold and clammy, extramely nausous, shivers, very rapid heartbeat, and has a hard time taking a breath. When she tries to speak to us during these attacks of her sitting up moving around, she is so winded and it takes so much just to finish a single sentence. Mom is very anemic and her heme count dropped to a 7.2 she will not accept any blood transfusuions due to her beliefs religious wise and the past few days docs given her iron pills and that has raised her count to a 9.4 but its still low…. Her tummy is still so very bloated and her urin output is not that much even though they are pumping her with several IV fluid bags. Could it be the cancer is just wiping her out she is not on any chemo yet. We are trying to figure out WHY she is so winded, weak and slightly feverish at times … clammy, chills… Could it be her heart they have not noticed yet?.. OR is this a common reaction after this type of surgery? We are aware that the Doctors told us without the surgery, she probly wouldnt have lived more than 2 weeks. But since she had the surgery, it may extend her time who knows.. is this symptoms of the end her weakness?? They placed her on a clear diet but she does not eat any of that.. no broth jello or anything but a sip of water or two thats it. she has been without food for 14 days now… but what can we do or possibly suggest to the doctors do to help her in this situation? Cancer has masestize to her liver and lungs i forgot to mention above. Anyone who has had a loved one with the same symptoms that she is going through please let me know how I can help her, what can we do, and how much longer did they live after going through these symptoms after surgery? I want to keep her as long as possible but I need to make her as comfy as possible. I wonder why her tummy is swelling up again??? Anybody with ideas or experience I apreciate your help. God Bless
This started happening last night when I decided to sleep on my back without a pillow. I heard it was good and better to sleep without a pillow, so I tried it. At first I felt my back relaxing and I was enjoying it until I decided to turn on my right side. That’s when I felt a sharp pain on my left chest. I got up quickly and started breathing in and out slowly. The pain didn’t disappear completely as I kept breathing, but it got better between now and then.
I went back to sleep and the pain faded as I started to fall a sleep. In the morning I thought everything would go back to normal, but I noticed I have a constant pain on the same area. It’s bearable, I’m not bother with it to the point where I can’t move, but I’m just curious what could this be?
Is it from the green tea I bought lately? This tea is suppose to clear away toxins from our bodies. It is used to support the healthy function of the liver, kidneys, lungs, and blood, and to cleanse the body of toxins. It’s called ‘Detox Tea’. Instead of drinking 2 cups daily, I drink 3.
I noticed changes on my bowel movements, I keep going to the bathroom more frequently, which I think the tea is doing a good job cleaning toxins from the body, but what specifically caused this left chest pain.
Thanks in advance!

i just found out my father has colon cancer that has spread to the liver and lungs. im trying to find out more info on top facilities in michigan. i am also trying to learn about proper foods and nutrients that help find this disease?? any advice??
I have been on Natures Sunshine Enviro-Detox (cleans liver, lungs, kidneys, skin and intestinal tract?) for 5 days. In this time I have had a mild stomach ache, and a pain that feels like it’s in my gallbladder, making my back hurt too, and very itsy-bitsy bowel movement after I drink my coffee, when normally I have a very good movement. I feel if I were to have a large bowel movement, all the hurts and pains would go away. Feels as I am stopped up very badly. Is this the way this stuff works? Is it coming soon? Or am I having a bad reaction to this natural cleanse?
and I also noticed a "smell" from my skin. None of this happened before I started this detox. Is this all normal as to how it works?
How do the heart lungs and small intestine work together to transport food and glucose around the body.
My mother was diagnosed with colon cancer at the end of October 2008. After emergency surgery to remove her colon, the doctors informed us that it had metastasized to her liver (completely filling it) as well as the outer wall of her pelvic bone, and lungs. She is half way through her 3rd round of chemo, and she is so severely sick all the time from it, in and out of the hospital, that she has decided to stop treatment. She would be on Chemo for the rest of her life, so she has decided this is no way to live. She is only 48 years old, and has been so healthy prior to this.. I know I should be asking her doctor, but he is impossible to get a hold of, and always resists giving any sort of time line to us.. I was wondering how long it usually takes for someones liver to fail when it is consumed with cancer? And how long it usually takes for a person to pass away after their liver fails?
Thanks!
My father has stage 4 colon cancer that has traveled to the liver and lungs. I am trying to stay optimistic as he is about to begin treatments however on a more realistic side what are the chances of containing and shrinking these tumors?? My father has a very good attitude and wants to beat this disease he is 59 years old..
My Grandma had a large cancer removed from her ascending colon about a year ago. Several lymph nodes contained cancer also. She had no evidence that it had spread anywhere else – liver , lungs and bones were scanned before the surgery. The oncologist felt that she was too medically fragile to get chemotherapy because she had 2 strokes right after the surgery. Now the cancer has come back in her abdomen. It is in her liver, but also spread all around the abdomen and is producing a lot of fluid. Is there any hope that she can be cured? If not, how long does she have to live? She is 91.
I saw some references as to how inner toxicity can be a minor/major cause of acne depending on the person especially in a teenager due to their traditional diet (hamburgers, fries, soft drinks, chips, etc).
I’m 15 and I’ve had acne since 11.
First it used to be mild but then it gotten to be all over my face and it’s really bad now.
I want to try something to detox my kidney, livers, colon, lungs, etc etc my body to see if I see improvement in my skin since your skin is an organ that does eliminate your body’s wastes.
What are some detox regimens I can use at home and not the stuff that you sell. I hear that fasting is a good way to detox and clean your body? Does diet play a role?
my dad has stage four colon cancer and was diagnosed in mid december. its spread to his liver and lungs and part of his stomach. he also has luekemia. what is the longest he could live with certain treatments?
I have an aunt who has stage 4 colon cancer and started out w/ 7500 markers? then after the original tumor was removed (metastases in liver and lungs) it was 2500; now after 4 mos of a chemo treatment she has 4500 and has to start a new chemo. What does this all mean? What is a high protein marker count and what is low? And what are they?
I just took Henry’s Internal Cleanser, which I’ve done many times before, and I’ve gotten results. It absorbs everything negative out of your system. It tends to cause some bloating and then you have a bowel movement within two days. But this time I took it and It caused instant, severe bloating, almost as if it was putting pressure against my lungs, and I couldn’t take deep breathes. I gained five pounds within this two day period, and I have not yet gone to the bathroom. If you have any experience with this product, or any other colon cleansers, please let me know what the problem may be.
There is no doubt that fasting is beneficial, as I’ve tried it myself. But does the body actually "purge" itself of toxins as we have been told? Are they flushed out of tissues and dumped into the bloodstream? Where do they go? What percentages are excreted from the skin? The bowel? The lungs? The sinuses? Is it even measurable? Are there examples of blood chemistry before, during and after a long fast? Is the blood full of stress-related chemicals before the fast? Does the blood become "dirty" with toxins and perhaps microbes/parasites/pathogens during the cleansing stage (when we experience the headaches, chills, fever, nausea, etc)? Does the blood become "clean" again after the fast has ended? Most importantly, where has this all been proven? Everyone has an opinion, but I’m interested in knowing where I can find the FACTS.
Definitions of fasts:
Dry Fasting: No food, no liquid. Very challenging and requires close supervision. Obviously not for extended periods, but a powerful type of fast (supposedly).
Water Fasting: No food, only purified water. Also very challenging. Produces hard and fast cleansing but also causes very intense side effects. For more experienced fasters.
Juice fasting: Pure fresh fruit juices and purified water. Provides nutrients in a pre-digested format, yet allows digestive system to rest and heal. High-energy fast that does not require faster to conserve energy (quite the opposite…you take stairs two at a time!). Side effects are mild.
I’ll trust personal experience over inexperienced "professional opinion" any day. As I said, EVERYONE has an opinion…even doctors. I’m just interested in what has been proven. No conclusions necessary. Just raw data.

My mom was diagnosed w/ stage 4 colon cancer in May 2007 she went though 2 yrs of chemo and just recently under went radiation to a tumor that has broke through her skin. It is located in her abdomen and is coming out of her navel. Please tell me with your best guess how much time we have left with her. Her liver and lungs are clear no signs of cancer there. Thank you
My mom just found out that she has type II diabetes, 5 or 6 tumors in her liver and 5 or 6 tumors in her lungs. They did a liver biopsy on Fri. and they’re doing a MRI on Monday of her brain and a bone scan and mamogram also. They also want to check her colon. Is this serious? She had cervical cancer about 18 years ago and had surgery to remove it. How many types of cancer and what are the treatment options for her condition. Thank you.
My dad has colorectal cancer in stage four. The doctor wont operate becuase it’s already spread to his liver and lungs. He wanted to start chemo right away. The doctor has told him to be careful in the cold weather, watch his diet, be careful with hot and cold food/drinks, and to rinse his mouth out with listerine througout the day. He has done everything by the book but….HE’S STILL SMOKING! This isnt the cause of his cancer…we dont think…but he just wont quit! Will the chemo even work if he is still smoking???
I forgot…he went in today for his chemo and they are going to admit him to the hospital for a week becuase he’s dehydrated from vomiting and he has an infection in his mouth. Is this infection likely caused from teh smoking??? And he wont tell the doctor that he’s smoking either.
My dad has had colon cancer for maybe 5 years now, the last 5 years through this his health has been up and down and up and down. To make a very long story short he is now at the point where the cancer has spread to his lungs and liver, and can not handle anymore chemo, surgeries, or any treatments. His oncologist says he wants to just keep him "comfortable". Right now my dad seems to be doing and feeling alright. Which is shocking to me because his CEA is 1,300. Four weeks ago it was about 1,075. And and x-ray yesterday showed the leasions on his lungs. His only complication is a cough and some diarrhea. How long can this last? What does a CEA level that is this high really mean?

I need some help answering the question above (Reason why the small intestine is so long relative to other organs of the body), and if you know the answer to the other 2 short questions below, any help would be greatly appreciated:
1.Reason why the small intestine is so long relative to other organs of the body
Extra Questions:
1. Benefit of softer muscular wall surrounding the abdominal cavity.
2. Reason why it is not necessary for fetus to send all the blood to the lungs.
-Thanks
The lungs and the small intestine both have large surface area. Why does each of these organs need a large surface area? What task does each perform?
My mom is 58 years old, she had colon cancer 8 years ago, she was clear for 7 years and in the last year has had a tumor form in her pelvis and spots on her lungs, both biopsied and results showed the same as her colon cancer. Yesterday she was diagnosed by x-ray of having stomache cancer, no biopsy yet to see if it is the same cancer, but assuming it is what is her chances of survival? She has lost 75 pounds in a year, 25 or more in the last 2 weeks while hospitalized. She has needed a blood transfusion, and went into renal failure 2 weeks ago. (she only has one kidney) She cannot eat solid foods, she will vomit, she has no appetite and is nautious all the time even with anti nausea meds. She is in extreme pain some days. The other night they maxed her out on narcotics, couldnt give her anymore without it being unsafe.
also she has had a colostomy bag for the past year because of the pelvic tumor.
so how bad does this sound and what is her treatment options and chances?
Doesn’t your body cleanse itself of environmental toxins (pesticides, food additives, excess minerals and vitamins) itself? Is a store-bought cleanse—colon, kidney, liver, lungs, vascular, bowel, etc. cleanse—-really necessary?
Advocates of these type(s) of cleanses claim that excess toxins in the body cause weight gain, skin problems such as acne, depression, memory loss, and all sorts of other ailments.
Can someone with knowledge and experience (only people with true insight please–no uninformed responders) please help me find an answer to this?
