I want a good cleanse for the colon and liver that will kick start my weight loss. I’ve heard of people losing weight on the isogenix cleanse but it’s too expensive. Anyone have success on this one? After the cleanse I plan on following a healthy diet plan.
And did you go 1 week or the whole 2 weeks?

I’m 20 5’9 198lb
for about a month i been getting some weird symptoms

I’m never hungry and eat a little bit and I’m full for the whole day.
losing weight fast.
burping for 2 weeks and feel like regurgitating sometimes.
abdomen cramps.
Diarrhea but make my hemorrhoid burn after going.

i am 18. i’ve been on a diet over the past 3 weeks. you know, healthy eating, lots of whole grain in my diet, veggies and fruits as well. i lost a few pounds for the first 2 weeks of my diet and with regular bowel movement. however, these days, i have been eating well and yet i’m not losing weight anymore. i also noticed that i defacate every 2 days and that i’m suffering from constipation. the past 3 1/2 days have been exceptionally tough as i haven’t taken a sh*t for the past 3 1/2 days.

this sucks. any health tips for me that are safe. again, i’m only 18.

i’m a confused teen. what would you recommend??
i think i’ve had included lots of fibrous foods in my diet on a regular basis which include apple, wheat bread, whole grain cereals, veggies like spinach and cabbage… it’s so frustating! or is it not enough?

Six years ago I started having pain in my lower abdomen (around the ascending colon area. After having an ultrasound I was told nothing was wrong. Every year I go back and the do ultrasound and bloodtests and they come back normal. This year the pain suddenly got much worse and I;m losing about 2 lb a week without diet or exercise. I’m overweight so this isn’t a huge problem but is concerning. I had a colonoscopy, blood work (blood and parasite check), stool sample, and an ultrasound of my upper abdomen.. Everything was normal except my thyroid. Dr diagnosed hypothyroidism. Thought that caused weight gain not loss? GI DR said The 2 years of diarrhea was IBS and that it was unrelated to abdominal pain. So I cut stress, dairy and caffeine and the diarrhea went away. Yeah! lower abdominal pain gets worse. It feels very bruised and tender to touch.
I don’t eat red meat and I try to eat only organic unrefined foods. I have PCOS, Asthma, fibromyalgia, IBS, and hypothyroidism. I do not take medicine of any kind. I had a baby 8 months ago. Pregnancy went well no problems, healthy home birth without drugs. I don’t smoke or drink. I’m 5’5" and 180lbs. I normally have a very difficult time losing weight. Even on an 800 calorie diet (dr prescribed) and 4 miles a day.
I am hypo not hyper and i’d be very surprised if I didn’t have fibromyalgia. I’m pretty much always in pain and every few months I’ll spend a couple days barely being able to walk.
I was tested for celiac and results were negative. I go gluten free most of the time anyway.

I am 17 years old. I work out often, don’t eat red meat and my diet consists of mainly fiber. I have Irritable Bowel Syndrome ( the condition in which you’re constipated). I get full easily, have stomach cramps, have a hard time with bowel movements, and I always feel tired. Lately, I have been losing weight but I’ve felt bloated too. Just today, I found blood in my stool. Since my family has a history of colon cancer, I’m really scared that I have it too. But I’m so young!! Can someone help me out?!

I was wondering if the Acai berry and the Colon cleanse together work?
Iv always had troubles losing weight and after i have my baby i dont think it will be any easier.

Hi,

I’ve been feeling awful lately, tired, bloated just not my self and it’s getting worse. I was looking at healthy ways of losing weight when i came across Kevin Trudeau’s The Weight Loss Cure which mentioned candida cleanse and colon cleanse. Can some one please recommend good cleanses and the diets i should follow ?

I have IBS the diarrhea form that has caused me to eat a lot less, and what i do it literally goes through me withing 20 minutes of eating it. The only thing is, I’ve been putting weight on instead of losing weight. Is this normal? Also, could IBS interfere with my menstrual cycle?

I’m 18, and for the past one year, I have gotten myself to eat extremely healthy. Especially after having gone off to college, I’ve been eating extremely healthy, and don’t eat out anyways since I am vegetarian and prefer my home-cooked meals. I have been drinking lime water (to detox) every morning for the past year, and psyllium husk (to cleanse the bowels) for the past few months every morning. I was suffering from acne, and wanted to lose weight from my lower body. I also hit a gym for a few months in the beginning. Now that I am at the peak of my growth, and after having come home from school for the summer, people seeing me after a very long time hyperventillated over how much weight I’ve lost (especially at how prominent my collar bones appear to be)!! And now I agree, I’ve been losing too much weight off my upper body. I’ve been trying to explain to them that I do eat, but I eat healthy, and maintain a low-fat diet. Just yesterday, after the pressure from family, I have stopped taking the lime water and psyllium husk, but I am afraid I’ll gain weight on my lower body and face again! I need to gain fat, but on my upper body just in time before my growth spurt ends and I’m left flat-chested. The other reason I’m so concerned for that is because all the women in my family are well-endowed, and I’m convinced the reason I haven’t put on weight up there now is because I’m eating way too healthy for my age. What can I do to help myself? I have a smaller appetite now too. I’m going to try to give a tablespoon of olive oil each morning a shot, to bring up my healthy fat levels and improve my skin and hair, start drinking 2% milk and having 2% yogurt instead of my normal skimmed milk and skimmed yogurt, and not avoid sugar as much as I used to. Maybe I just think I gain weight on my lower body, and now that I’ve been losing weight off my upper body, my body will put it on there first? Someone please shine some light on this!

I’m on a guilt trip everytime I eat calorific goodies and unhealthy foods. I really do crave those things at times, and enjoy them once in a blue moon, but I’ve learned to suppress those craving over the past year. I really hope somehow I can start eating right for my age and gain the weight I need to, where I need to, before my body will refuse to grow again!

Note: I feel healthy, energetic, am anemic and vegetarian. I take multivitamin and calcium supplements everyday because I am vegetarian and normally follow a south asian diet. Please make your suggestions according to that.

I take prescribed phentermine from the doctor. my question is .. is it dangerous to mix this diet pill with a colon cleanser? i don’t want to stop taking the diet pills but i would like to try a colon cleanser. a friend told me it really helps with your digestive system! and thats where i have my problems.

I’m not obese, and i do realize losing weight takes time. I’m not in to much of a hurry since i now weigh 150 im 5’6′. ive lost 15 lbs using this diet pill. but want more off.

Why do you seriously think the acai berry, or special k, or "dieter’s" tea, diet pills, or colon cleanse is seriously going to help you? Don’t you all realize the key to losing weight and keeping it off is exercise and eating healthy? Is that too hard for you all to understand! OMG!

Sorry for the rant, I’m just getting irritated by all the ignorance.

i am about 5 feet 2 inches and weight about 126 pounds
My weight is ditributed mostly in my hips and my breasts so i dont really look overweight i am just curvy and big breasted
i have a little stomach fat but not enough to bother me
i enjoy staying active i play sports and do things outside like ride a bike but only exercise to exercise sporadically or start and never continue for more than maybe 2 weeks
i am not a picky eater and eat what i want but its mostly healthy and blanaced i have tried losing weight and i have slimmed down a little but never gotten to a point that was really dramatic or stayed there for a while
my goal is to be about 110 and my doctor says that would be a nice weight for my height so i would love to lose about 15 pounds
i just read and watched news clips all about colon cleansing and acia berry and read this womans story about how she used both pills and lost 41 pounds in 2 months
aside from losign weight i thing detoxing our bodies is a helthy thing to do and the weight loss would be a plus but i know ppl use them who want to lose a ton of weight from a pregnancy or soemthing
i was wondering if i could do the same thing but in smaller doses and how i would calculate it please help
doctors reccomendations would be appreciated also
thanks!
i have heard about this new free trial
but is it so new that i have to use this?
or can i still buy it otc

ok so im in the process of losing weight. ive lost a few pounds but not a nearly enough as i need to lose. i heard that if i buy colon cleanser it will help. is this true?

I have two major problems with the tummy: wheat allergy and a spastic colon. If anyone out there has these two conditions together to deal with (by the way, my doctor says I’m the only one in her practice who has the two conditions to deal with) — I’d be interested in how you keep things under control and give your diet some variety. I’m really limited at this point and losing weight. I do take lots of a pro-biotic and acidophylis which is a big help.

Okay, so I am in the midst of losing weight by dieting and exercising. I read many different websites about the benefits of colon cleansing when dieting and how it can help you to lose weight more (not profoundly though). Most of the websites said that there is a type of "Plaque" that accumulates within your body from all the bad junk you have eaten in your life. And if you do a colon cleaning / detox treatment, after so long you may poop out a long string of plaque from your body cleaning itself. I also read that there are harmful parasites that live within this "plaque" and a lot of times they are the reason why some people have a hard time losing weight. Because the parasites take all the "good" nutrients and leave you with the bad.

Now I went to the Dr. about weight loss and dieting and asked him about colon cleansing, but he laughed and said that was a myth.

Has anyone ever had this done and did end up removing the "plaque" from your body?

Can anyone tell me – seriously – the benefits of a colon cleanse? Is it something you recommend? I have been reading just a bit about how so many things are effected by the colon and how you can feel so run down, bloated, be unsuccessful with losing weight, suffer from irritable bowel syndrome, have digestive problems, etc. all from neglecting your colon. I am just not sure if this has any truth behind it or not. Is a colon cleanse worth having? Is it an expensive process? How do you go about looking into something like this? I realize this topic is a bit off the wall, but any serious help or information would be most beneficial.

Thank you ever so much.

I am on day eight of the Master Cleanse (aka The Lemonaid Diet), and I really want to flush out any accumulated toxins and parasites. But so far, my bowel movements are all clear: no parasites or "strange, dark solids." Has anyone gone on this detox regimin and not had any parasites?

I am following the book faithfully (64 oz of the lemonaid mixture, senna leaf tea, and salt water flushes), and have about 2-3 liquid movements a day. It is my first time cleansing, and I really wanted it to be a cleansing! I also do not feel like I have the amazing energy they say I should. Could it be that it might take longer for me? Has this ever happened to anyone else?

Please let me know.
To: vwtdi:

I do have a lot of energy considering that I am only drinking the lemonade mixture, saltwater in the am, and senna leaf tea at night. It just isn’t what I thought it would be. I get a lot more energy after drinking a full bottle of Synergy Kombucha, for sure!

The detoxing is great, though. I have used other detoxes before, but this one–so far–has more detox symptoms (yucky tounge, backache on day four, etc), so I feel like it works better.

I don’t know how much weight I’ve lost. I don’t own a scale, and I’m not doing it for weight loss. But I feel lighter on the inside (if that makes ANY sense), so I think you’d like it. I cannot imagine eating only 500 cals a day and NOT losing weight, so you might have success with that.

Good luck!

Im 6’0 and 17… and about 100 pounds over weight. I’ve been slowly losing weight and was wondering if detox programs would be worth the money. I gained close to 60 lbs in the course of a year and would like to start reversing some of the internal damage of gorging processed foods.

It’d be a christmas present

I’ve been hearing so much about this, is it just another "jenny craig" deal, or have people really been losing weight from this. I don’t understand how you can have 20pounds of fat in your colon. 0_o
Wow, there are so many answers I’m not sure who to pick as the correct one.

Does the Acai Berry and the Colon Cleanse work? Is it healthy for everyone? And is it expensive? I herd it works on a lot of people, but I thought I’d see what everyones opinions is about it. I want to start losing weight for prom haha.

I am currently taking a weight loss supplement called "Nuphedrine". So far Its great, no jitters or racing heart and I’m losing weight! I would like to also do a colon cleanse for additional weight loss and overall health. Is that safe to do and if so what is a recommended product that works?

I have just started a body/colon cleanse routine which simply calls for my taking 2 -3 pills in the am & pm, but I normally take a multi, super B, calcium, milk thistle (clean liver) as well as Omega 3. I noticed with the cleanse, that having 2 bowel movements pushes everything out faster. Can someone who has done this give me a reply? This is not aimed at losing weight, but ridding the body of toxins since I do take allergy meds.

I’ve heard various opinions of detoxifying your body by doing a colon cleansing…this apparently rids the body of parasites that prevent you from staying healthy and losing weight…If this really is a good thing, where can I find a trust-worthy regimen for this?

just asking because i bought only the capsules because i have a normal bowl movement and since i think thats what the cleanser is for i didnt buy it. but i would like to know if ppl. are losing weight without it and just taking the pills?
