I’m 23 year old young man who just got his yearly check up 2 weeks ago, and was told i was really healthy. A week later I started getting bad abdominal pain, this made me worry when it didn’t subside after bowel movements. I lost 11 pounds in 5 days. I had no blood in my urine, and my blood test come back showing normal levels in white blood cells, and nothing wrong with my liver or kidneys. The doctor treated me for a parasite. Over the past couple days i have gained 2 pounds and my stool has had little black specks in it (almost pepper like) I have read this happens when the parasites are being cleansed from the body. Should the weight come back slowly like a 1/10 of pound here and there or should i re-gain the pounds in a couple days?
I want a good cleanse for the colon and liver that will kick start my weight loss. I’ve heard of people losing weight on the isogenix cleanse but it’s too expensive. Anyone have success on this one? After the cleanse I plan on following a healthy diet plan.
And did you go 1 week or the whole 2 weeks?
Last year I went to walk-in clinic with 3 dortors (assocites) regularly for bleeding in my stool 1st doctor send me to enema test and was negative then the 2nd doctor send me for colonoscopy last July 2007 and I was diagnosed by the spicialist with internal hemorhoid. So the treatment is for hemorhoid until Dec 2007 I feel the pain when I move my bowel with blood on the stool. Went back again to same walk-in- clinic last January for general check up but I was surprise no stool exam. April 2008 3rd doctor checked my rectum.June 2008 I went to emergency bec I can not stand the pain I stayed at the hospital for almost 2 weeks and after so many test I was diagnose with rectal cancer stage 4 coz the tomur spread into my liver and my lymp nodes are swollen. Now I have colostomy surgery, I’m going for chemoteraphy this July. Right now I in pain taking Hyromorphone and pain control patch but the still painful. I can’t lie down and sleep there is mucus coming out of my rectum.
I want to detox my liver, kidney, colon, etc. thanks
It seems that coffee enemas are very popular for detoxing the liver as well as cleaning out the colon .This may work by dilating the bile duct ? Have you ever tried this ? Results ?

My grandfather is currently in 4th stage cancer. He had a tumor removed from his colon last year and now has just acquired Jondus as the cancer has spread to his liver. We fear that he does not have much time left at all.
I just found out about this Budwig Diet yesterday. I have gone over the web site and there seems to be different variations of the diet depending upon the stage of cancer one has.
Can anyone direct me to what set of instructions I should follow? The home portion of this news group, is that enough to get started? Do I need to purchase the Budwig books? Also, my grandfather is currently in India, Chandigarah. Are there any groups there that may be able to help?
I appreciate everyone’s help. Thank you and God Bless!
I will perform a Raw, Lung, Colon, Kidney, Liver, and Bath detox. Each one will consist of 30 days by me easing into the diet and then easing off of it.
Is it safe to drink this even if I DON’T have gallstones?
I just want a healthier body/colon/liver.
Will I have diarrhea?
Link that explains the recipe: http://curezone.com/foods/lemonolive.asp
is it too much of a strain on the body to undergo a month long detox, during the winter?
it’s meant to cleanse the colon, liver, and kidneys.
My mom (who just turned 57 on Wednesday) was diagnosed with advanced colon cancer (spreading to her liver) on Friday. I’m taking her for her colonoscopy tomorrow.
We are ready for a fight and are ready to win. Any advice anyone can give on diet, supplements or anything that helped you win your fight is most appreciated.
PLEASE…helpful/positive comments or advice only. I’ve spent the last 3 days reseraching every website there is, so your personal, helpful experiences are really all I’m looking for.
Thank you so much. I appreciate your time, and wish everyone luck in their future health.

She is 79 yrs old. After surgery they did not remove the large mass on her sigmoid colon because it was to vascular to remove and she would more than likely bleed to death if they tried. It will be one week since her surgery and she is still very very weak, gets out of breath with us daughters helping her to bathroom. Even when they gave her a portable pottychair to use she gets severely cold and clammy, extramely nausous, shivers, very rapid heartbeat, and has a hard time taking a breath. When she tries to speak to us during these attacks of her sitting up moving around, she is so winded and it takes so much just to finish a single sentence. Mom is very anemic and her heme count dropped to a 7.2 she will not accept any blood transfusuions due to her beliefs religious wise and the past few days docs given her iron pills and that has raised her count to a 9.4 but its still low…. Her tummy is still so very bloated and her urin output is not that much even though they are pumping her with several IV fluid bags. Could it be the cancer is just wiping her out she is not on any chemo yet. We are trying to figure out WHY she is so winded, weak and slightly feverish at times … clammy, chills… Could it be her heart they have not noticed yet?.. OR is this a common reaction after this type of surgery? We are aware that the Doctors told us without the surgery, she probly wouldnt have lived more than 2 weeks. But since she had the surgery, it may extend her time who knows.. is this symptoms of the end her weakness?? They placed her on a clear diet but she does not eat any of that.. no broth jello or anything but a sip of water or two thats it. she has been without food for 14 days now… but what can we do or possibly suggest to the doctors do to help her in this situation? Cancer has masestize to her liver and lungs i forgot to mention above. Anyone who has had a loved one with the same symptoms that she is going through please let me know how I can help her, what can we do, and how much longer did they live after going through these symptoms after surgery? I want to keep her as long as possible but I need to make her as comfy as possible. I wonder why her tummy is swelling up again??? Anybody with ideas or experience I apreciate your help. God Bless
A lady ‘friend’ of mine was chatting with me and asked if I could help her to lose 35 pounds. I said "You’re not going to like the answer." She says, "I can do anything I set my mind to, you know that!" "Okay," I tell her: "You stop eating meat, dairy and animal by-products including butter; no starches, processed sugar and NO fast food. You begin a vegan diet, starting with a total-body cleanse fasting for two days, taking natural liver and colon detox pills and drinking lots of water. Then you eat a macrobiotic diet for two weeks; in the meantime you workout according to a chart I’ll make up for you and I guarantee you’ll lose the 35 pounds and replace it with lean muscle within 8 weeks." That was the last I heard from her and that was 2 weeks ago!
She knows my approach works because my ‘ex’ followed the same training schedule…
Joe, that’s like wiening off smoking a butt at a time. Just do it!
J’Adore, she never bothered to get the info from me, so I doubt it….her loss! Or ‘gain’, I should say! lol
I had my daughter 2 years ago got up to 211 from 125lbs never had a problem with my weight could eat anthing my heart desired and never gained weight now that i haven’t been able to loose weight with any diet pill, program, exercise, not to mention every test that could be ran by my primary dr has been ran and all normal, I was recommende to go see a homeapathic dr that told me my liver was backed up, my colon was backed up there was something going on with my small instestine- lrg intestine "parasites" ewww! my kiddneys were dehydrated and so on i have recently stoped eating meat i never really cared for it and just decided to stop eating it all together so i eat subs with all veges i love pasta and she tells me im eating stuff that i shouldn’t that i need to go on a blood type diet im 0+
that consist of eating meat no bread no strawberrys no pasta all ther things i love except the meat the type o diet is rediculus wxspecially when my husband is a+ and i have a 2year old! So what im really trying to get at is do you think that the blood type diet works or if i just eat the right things at portion control would be just as good?
Through detox or other. And not just to pass a drug test or something, to really cleanse out my body, colon, kidneys, liver…etc.
What about colon cleanses, or cholonix, or fasting?
Which of the following is the most direct result of the presence of acid chyme in the small intestine?

My mother had Stage 3 Uterine Cancer, which she had a total hysterectomy and all organs were removed in October, and she finished her last chemo on April 29th, but just this week was back in hospital for partial lower bowel obstruction and fluid build up in abdomen, especially around liver.
The good thing is they drained the fluid and the obstruction was not large, but I was wondering if all this could be a way her body is trying to rid itself of toxins from radiation and chemo. She is feeling weak, so I was wondering about any good regimens for helping her to cleanse her system and detox to get stronger and get rid of the toxins?
I already found out about Milk Thistle and Dandelion for the liver, so if any other remedies are known please share!!
Thanks so much.
only answer if you fasted before, because you`ll know the good that comes with it.
THE GOODNESS OF FASTING:
fasting is a multidimensional experience. Physiologically, refraining from eating minimizes the work done by the digestive organs, including the stomach, intestines, pancreas, gallbladder, and liver. Most important here is that our liver, our body’s large production and metabolic factory, can spend more time during fasting cleaning up and creating its many new substances for our use. Breakdown of stored or circulating chemicals is the basic process of detoxification. The blood and lymph also have the opportunity to be cleaned of toxins as all the eliminate functions are enhanced with fasting. Each cell has the opportunity to catch up on its work; with fewer new demands, it can repair itself and dump its waste for the garbage pickup. Most fasters also experience a new vibrancy of their skin and clarity of mind and body.
the thing i need to know would be to rethink the method i`m doing it, what i listed was the benefits that come from TRUE faster, aka the water, lemon mix mostly just by drinking water.
here is my question, by drinking v8, will that be cheating even if i do it once, i feel like that is cheating since i will still be making my body work out that of my system, i`m starting today, and going for 12 day
I have been on pain medication for about a year. Taking it as prescribed but I now feel as though I don not need it and am wanting to cleanse my body and get back on a natural diet. I found a detox that cleanses each organ and goes in specific order cleansing the colon first and then kidneys and ending with the liver and blood. Should I just focus on coming off the pain meds first or is it going to be easier just to go right into the detox regime (Will it make it easier in the long run). I have become somewhat dependant on the meds but not so much addicted. I probaly will experience some withdrawals. Any input would be much appreciated.
Recently I just fell upon detoxing on the internet.
I’m really looking to do a full body detox for all the health benefits, because I REALLY believe my body needs it considering all the symptoms that I have for just a parasite detox alone.
I wanted to do this:
Parasite Cleanse
Kidney Cleanse
Colon Cleanse
Liver Cleanse
I found a kit on ebay that is priced at for a full body detox, but I’m unsure if that is too much.
Could you possibly give me some general prices that you have spent on your detoxes, whether it be just one or all of them, and a list of the ingredients you purchased.
For the parasite detox, it’s generally black wallnut husk, wormwood, and cloves, but i want to see what you have purchased other detoxes.
This would be my first time so I’m trying to go for a decent deal without having to hastle in purchasing all the sorts of capsuls & herbs if I can avoid it by buying a kit.
I’m trying to do this to clean my body out, not just "diet" like many of you may think.
I wouldn’t have asked this if I wanted to go on a diet.
I am 22 and have been having a whole slew of problems.
1. It started with prostatitis. Had it several times, took all of the antibiotics, it got better for a while. I always felt like it had some kind of link with my bowel function and corresponded with constipation. This might make sense because bacteria from the colon, I have heard, can get into the prostate.
2. I have had constipation and sometimes diahria for a year or so.
3. I was diagnosed as having a peptic ulcer. I have pain to the left of my navel, on one side of my chest, and in the abdomen. I have had basd heartburn in the past, whcih got better with Prilosec.
4. The Gastro doctor was not helping me much so I went to a holistic doctor my mom swears by. She said I had a parasite and gave me all kinds of supplements (parachord, lymph tone, quantum thyroid, liver protect, core artemesia) and told me to follow the Candida diet.
5. It has also been suggested I may have a wheat allergy. I did not follow my diet for a weekend and came back with constipation and the prostate issues bothering me more than they have in a long time.
Can anyone help please? Nothing has really worked for me, and I feel like all these issues migth be related. Thanks!
I’ve been reading all these articles about liver cleanse and colon cleanse programs. I’ve been eating tons of trans fats, fast food, preservatives and other crap.
Now my question is: do you really have to do that kind of stuff, or will keeping a healthy diet make the body detoxify by itself eventually? By healthy diet i mean mostly raw food (including meat).
I’m looking at the Master cleanse or something like it to clean the colon liver kidneys…ect…
I was told that if i detox/decongest my liver that i’ll have clearer skin because the skin is a major outlet of everything else that is going on in your body.Right now i’m doing a colon cleanse kit.I just started. Will this interfere with naturally cleansing my liver or can i continue to take them?So how can i naturally detoxify my liver for clearer skin and overall well being?
