OK Ive been on a sort of cleanse program for 4 days now. Eating mostly fruits and veggies some whole wheat bread every now and then and tart cherry juice. And I have the runs pretty bad. Is my body cleaning itself out? before I started this I ate a lot of crap kind of. Is this normal and how long will it last?
I don’t know how to comment on my own post so I will use this lol.

Pink floy, I wouldn’t say I’m really on a diet, Just trying to eat better. This can’t be a bad thing considering I ate total crap and complete processed foods before can it? I think not.

I weigh 130 and am 20 I may not be over weight but I’ve had bad eating habits sometimes I don’t eat till 4pm and then i stuff myself I don’t eat much fruits or grains I’ve been drinking water daily Its hard to drink the recommend a amount of glasses and alot of it makes me bloated sometimes I’ll eat in the middle lf the night I try and diet sometimes but they don’t last very long anyways I’m usually home laying on the couch or in bed which prolly doesnt help. Anyway I’ve gotten acid reflux I’m constantly bloated I get a bad taste my bowel movement is irregular sometimes I’m constipated and sometimes I smell I feel like Becouse my digestive system is slow that some lf it goes out through my pores? I want a strict diet that will clean out my digestive system any info is appreciated

i am 18. i’ve been on a diet over the past 3 weeks. you know, healthy eating, lots of whole grain in my diet, veggies and fruits as well. i lost a few pounds for the first 2 weeks of my diet and with regular bowel movement. however, these days, i have been eating well and yet i’m not losing weight anymore. i also noticed that i defacate every 2 days and that i’m suffering from constipation. the past 3 1/2 days have been exceptionally tough as i haven’t taken a sh*t for the past 3 1/2 days.

this sucks. any health tips for me that are safe. again, i’m only 18.

i’m a confused teen. what would you recommend??
i think i’ve had included lots of fibrous foods in my diet on a regular basis which include apple, wheat bread, whole grain cereals, veggies like spinach and cabbage… it’s so frustating! or is it not enough?

Ok, so I have 6 weeks to lose as much weight as I can…so this is going to be the inconventional way. I don’t usually do this..but it’s an emergency weight loss thing.

My idea is…1,200 calories a day…1-2 hours of working out per day. I will be getting colon therapy to flush my system and get me energized..and to kick start things..I’m going to do a lemon cleanse thing for 4 days. That’s all. Just to flush and refresh me. I’ll be drinking caffeine free teas and a special lemonade drink.

After that my idea is to cut out sugar COMPLETELY from my diet. And I need tips on realllllllllly healthily "gross" food. ;) Haha..basically..I’m thinking TONS of veggies…some fruits..the only grains I can have is plain oatmeal…no caffeine…only water or caffeine free tea without sugar….

But I remember my Dad , when he dieted, would just eat tuna out of the can..etc. I’m looking as these next 6 weeks as just eating food to survive. I don’t care if it tastes good..I just want to be able to get enough that my body needs and stay within 1,200 calories. Tips?? or do I have it mostly down? Did I forget anything?

I’m 5’4 198…and looking to get down to 170ish in 6 weeks. I don’t think it’s healthy to go further than that…20-25 pounds is enough. They say to only lose up to 2 pounds a week..but I’m really heavy so losing more isn’t going to kill me. Before, I would consume 1,600 a day and I lost 2.5 a week starting from 198 and got to 173..and I didn’t workout at ALL..so I already know I can lost 2.5 pounds EASILY without even trying that hard…per week.

Starting tomorrow I will begin this diet:
Day 1 and 2: eat nothing but fruits and and water/lemon water
Day 3 and 4: add vegetables to your fruit menu and nothing but water/lemon water
Day 5 and 6: do the same thing with days 1-4
Day 7: add meat and bread into your menu include a light desert.
Water/lemon water only
I’ll do this everyday but alternate it.
I’m not eating more than 1,200 calories a day.
I’m also taking a colon cleanse everyday.
For my exercise:
I have this book where it gives me exercises to do. I’ll also be running/walking.

Will I lose weight? If so how much?

okay, i want to lose weight and i would also like to get rid of all that nasty waste in my bowels..i am going to do regular exercise and watch my calorie intake, but once every week, i would like to do an all "fruits and veggie day" i would just eat all the fruits and veggies i want, and then the next 6 days i would go back to my "low calorie" diet until the next "all fruit and veggie day"..is this okay for me to do and will it help me lose some weight? side eefects?..thanks so much! i am 14 by the way, but i aint taking no diet pills or nothing..i just wanna cleanse my body every so often..also, how much could i lose in one day from all the veggies and fruit?

I am 23 years old, and have never had a session of colon hydrotherapy. I am in good shape; I exercise 4-6 times a week (running, using the stationary bike, hiking, and strength training), and have a healthy diet of mostly vegetables, lean meats, fish, whole grains, and fruits. I have noticed over the past months that I have had more gas than usual. In addition, there will be days when I get 8-9 hours of sleep and still feel tired during the day.
Is colon hydrotherapy right for me?

I feel the need of cleansing my colon. Reason: Chronic constipation, indigestion since last few months, obesity, heavy-feeling on waist-stomach part, slight pain in part above bowel-passing area which makes me feel as if my colon is not okay and may require some cleansing.

I exercise occassionally. I m generally a stressed out person with something piling on my personality – emotional stress or physical or job stress.

While browing thru net, I have come accross a product known as COLONIX. Pls refer to website below.

http://www.drnatura.com/colonix_program.php

I need to know if this product can be safe to us.

Or, pls suggest me some "Natural way of cleansing colon" without having to take some medication.

I want to be healthy but in a natural way. I eat lot of fruits, green veggies and normal meals. I am fond of drinking milk-tea and put two-three spoons in it each time (I drink upto 4 cups daily). I like to eat McDonalds and some junk food like chips/chocolates/cookies/cakes. But I m not addicted to these and eat these 2-3 times in a week.

But I want to know if anyone of you have ever gone thru colon cleansing and felt better. Or if you have not gone thru colon cleansing and still feel better.

All answers are welcome!

Thanks for reading and answering my query!

So I was doing some online research and was very close to purchasing a colon cleanse kit. However, I found a lot of information stating that a healthy diet and lots of fiber is all humans need to get the movements going as the colon is a self-cleansing organ AND that colon cleansing can flush out the beneficial bacteria and cause dehydration. So I’ve opted to up the fiber and drink more water. I go at least twice a day, so I don’t think I have a problem. I will leave my colon alone and continue to take probiotics.

My first question is this: Should I do a parasite cleanse? I haven’t tested positive for parasites, but I read that you can have parasites and not know it and that a parasite cleanse should be done once a year. I read that humans can pick up parasites just about anywhere, so is a yearly parasite cleanse necessary for maintenace/prevention?

As for the second question: Is a detox really necessary, or should a drastic change in diet and supplements do the trick? I saw a nutritionist who wants me to go totally organic with fruits and meats (I agree with the meats), but I can’t afford totally organic with produce as my budget doesn’t allow for it. Plus,I live in LA and am exposed to toxic air every day. The whole "detox" and "organic only" craze has me confused. If I thorougly wash my conventionally grown fruits and veggies, is that good enough to was away pesticides, bacteria, and parasites?

Okay, I’ve been reading around and have found a few things saying that meat stays into your intestines for a lot longer than other foods because it is so hard to digest. I have become a vegetarian now for a little over 2 months. About the end of Jan. I started having gas, an upset stomach, cramping and diarrhea. I was told since I was eating for things with fiber in them, and a healthier diet my body was just getting rid of the meat in my system, and cleansing my body. I’m starting to wonder about it now though. I sometimes don’t even feel like I’m about to have a bowel movement, and I do anyways. The movements are not that normal either. They are liquid-like, and have a larger odor that usual.

I don’t know what kinds of foods have a lot of fiber in them to begin with, but even so…is this normal? I mean it has been about two and a half weeks of this. It is not getting any better…I don’t quite understand. Thank you. If you need any other details I’ll be able to give them to you.
I’m taking medication, but I was taking it before starting to become a vegetarian…and it never caused these problems.
Another thing is though, I’ve not really up’d my intake on veggies, maybe more with bananas, but no other fruits really…just not eating quite so much junk, no meat, and cutting back on fattening things.

As I posed the question earlier, what is recommended safe over the counter or home remedy. Been on a diet for 3 wks, and now this week I am constipated, and unable to dispell gas, burp or belch. I eat fiber, veggies and fruits all the time. I think I may need a total cleanse, I know (CM) it taste very nasty, but do you think this well help clean my upper/lower intestines? I wanted to get something afforable and quick to work and not taste bad and no enemas.
went to Walmarts to get some Mag. Cit. and surprisingly the shelf was empty. Other than me, Guess more people are full of chit!

I have found the "perfect" natural remedy, thank you all for your responses.

I’ve heard about colon cleanses, especially the lemonade cleanse, and to be honest, I really do think its true. It’s just that, when I asked my doctor, he said he had never heard of colon cleanses. My parents are skeptical and I’ve been really frustrated that I can’t do anything about it.

I have a really slow bowel movement and when I DO go, I feel like there is still more to pass.

I’ve been drinking prune juice, but that doesn’t really help. Does anyone have any opinions on the Master Cleanse and any suggestions to solve my problem, besides eating more fibre and fruits? =\
Thanks much!

I am almost positive despite what people say, that acne is caused by diet. I am so sick of my acne and willing to changed my diet, however, I have no idea how too. I cannot afford to buy all those healthy foods, nor can I afford to buy all those good for you fruits, all my family ever has is apples bananas and carrots. I am just so sick of acne, but I have tried every medication, chemical peels, exfoliation, cleansers, vitamins, etc. I am just wondering if Advanced colon or Acai optimum will work.. I already have the pills because I ordered them a long time ago just never had the guts to try them. I believe my acne is because my diet consists of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, goldfish, bananas, carrots (Rarely), pizza, taco bell, and not really much else.. I have a hard time eating food, because I am picky. I hate fish too. lol. Anyway, I just really need something that will work, and I need to know if these pills will work… I am very sick and tired of acne. All I want is a clear face. If it’s not my diet, then what is it? I have literally tried every product you can recommend me. Trust me. Feel free to e-mail me, please.. I am in serious need of help. I even visited dermatologist, the stuff he gave me didn’t work.

Only stuff that ever cleared my face was proactiv, but it turned my face extremely red and dry.

I was thinking about buying that Colonix detox supplement hopefully cleanse my body(?) cause I have constant bloating and its embarrassing. I also wanted to clean my ‘body’ with something. I already eat healthy and drink lots of water. Advice? I also stopped drinking milk since i’m intolerant to it. I switched to soy milk. I also been having skin problems, marks and dry skin I’m not too sure if that’s because of my stomach. I drink lots of tea too for antioxidants and eat lots of fruits and breads (wheat.)

My body feels slugglish, im feeling unwell alot also slightley overweight, after xmas i want to slim down and ‘detox’ the body and colon…im not to sure what to believe, i’ve read the body gets rid of toxins on its own, but i’ve also read a good fast on fruits and water is good for the body (in moderation) So im unsure have you ever detoxed? if so how did you do it and what excercises did you find useful for weight loss? Anybodys opinion welcome best answerr 10points xxx

I’m pretty built. Have a decent amount of muscle on me and I just started doing a really good ab workout. I also go to the gym almost every day with breaks.

Now I do have a little bit of a belly on top of my abs that i’m trying to reveal so I’m thinking taking laxatives for a week ONLY just to lower my stomach size and clean out the intestines. (I also have been eating a lot of fruits and veggies b/c I heard that helps)

Question issssss….will it make me loose muscle mass/size in my arms, chest, legs, back, etc?

I already eat practically a perfect diet, consisting of mainly fruits, veggies, nuts, beans, whole grains, and probiotics. I also exercise, however, I’m still not as thin as I’d like to be. Would purchasing a quality colon cleanser from Whole Foods do the trick? I also want to start drinking prune juice regularly. How effective are colon cleansers? What was your experience with them?

Im 16 years old and have been chronically constipated for almost a year. I think its mainly my diet. My parents always go out eating at restaurants and I dont go, and they usually get me FAST FOOD. Or they will cook tv dinners. Ive tried excersising but I get discussed about my weight and sometiems i fine it doesnt work. I know im probably not getting enough fiber. I have to take milk of magnesia to relieve it. Sometimes ill poo but itll come out hard or medium sized plops. Or ill start feeling heavy or fatique or cant think straight. After I take milk of magnesia to get the guck out I feel better.

I was thinking about trying a colon cleanser, maybe it will clean my colon? I started walking last wednesday. 30 minutes to an hour everyday. I also took some fiber tablets, "benefiber"

Should I try a diet with more fruits and veggys? Or should I try a colon cleanser and start fresh with fruits? Like clean my system and start new?
i am ALWAYS overeating or gulping my food down. Im also overweight which explains my lack of excersise.

Can a really bad diet cause constipation? I’ve had chronic constipation my whole life, the docs see nothing wrong with the structure of my colon. But not too long ago I started thinking, my whole life, my diet has sucked. No veggies, no fruits, no water…. Yeah, we only buy what our mom likes, so our diet is usually not very good. Could my diet be causing this problem I’ve had my whole life?

For the past 8 months my bowel movement has not been normal, I go to the bathroom 2 to 3 times a day, There is no blood but I do get discomfort every now and then. I went to my doctor and he thinks that its because I am eating more fiber and fruits than I normally do. I have never seen blood in my stool, and there is no colon cancer in my family. Should I still go to a specailist? Or do you think its just my new diet? What are the signs of colon caner?

Well im only 15, but when I go to the bathroom, you know empty your stool. Well anyways Sometimes I go, I get bleeding(kinnda red) in my stool. I have 3 out of 7 symptoms of Colorectal Cancer, I went to my family doctor about this before, but she never really gave me a full answer, all she told me was to "eat healthier & more Excersise" and I was like "okay, but does that make the bleeding stop?" but then all she said was "just eat healthier and more excerise" I been excersising 30 mins a day, and lots of fruits, But I still bleed in my stool once in awhile, & I KNOW its from my stool because I didnt urine, and just ended my pms. Should I be worried? ALOT of my family members have this, but they seem to be okay? but im still worried, This only started this year, I never had this before, Should I go back to the doctors? but its so uncomfortable when I go, because the last time I went they had to check me -.-

Is there anyone out there that has this too? and can help me out?
