I have been "diagnosed" with Crohns disease and ulcerative colitis"…but i feel that every medication i take cause’s more symptoms and more side effects…in fact the more medicine i take…the worse i feel…i am starting to really doubt not only my diagnosis..but i am doubting that every problem in life must be solved with loads of strong medications…are bodies are probally close to toxic with everything we take on a daily basis..so despite my doctor family i want to live my life medicine free….where do i start vitamin wise and food wise any suggestions of something that manages good colon health?
where can i find one?

i have gained some unwanted weight and am looking to lose around 15 pounds over the next three months. i work out on a daily basis, switching from upper and lower body, and cardio, every other day. i also stay away from carbs and drink lots of water. mostly i eat scrambled eggs, fruit, salad, and grilled chicken breasts. i have just begun taking an acai berry and colon cleanse product i purchased at the local CVS pharmacy, and i was wondering if these products along with my exercise and diet will help me lose the weight i need to lose by August? what exactly does the acai and colon cleanse do? and how long after i start taking them should i see results?

I need a safe colon cleanser that I can use on a daily basis because my digestive system is sluggish and needs a lot of help. I have tried Phillips Colon Health and Sanar Colon Cleanse 2002, but they didn’t work for me. Help?

Is Colon Cure any good? Is it like a strong laxative? My grandma bought a sample of it to help with my constipation problem, but I’m a little weary of using it.
I’ve been to the doctors for this too by the way, and they all always say they don’t know.
So I’m trying to find things I can do on my own.
If you have any suggestions besides Colon Cure, I’m very open to hearing them. I need some sort of relief that isn’t laxatives (I hear laxatives aren’t good for you anyway).
I already know I have a problem with my diet; ie. soda, cheese, chips (on a daily basis)
I’ve tried cutting them from my life and lasted about two weeks before I fell into bad habit again. Nothing really changed except that my stool did get softer. Should I have kept going? Would it take long since I have been eating so unhealthy for so long?
Any information is appreciated.
Thank you in advance.

I’m 18 years old and I am not in bad shape, but I have a fast metabolism and eat terribly. I don’t gain weight and yet I can consume 2 Big Mac’s, a Fry, Large Coke in one sitting. However, I know this type of dieting is inevitably damaging. Although there is no visual effect to my eating habits as of this far, I know in the long run this is not healthy and I want to change.

I don’t want an expensive, supplemented diet that utilizes enemas and such, but I want to know of a stable diet such as a good combination of fruits, vegetables, and juices/water on a daily basis, in what amounts of consumption, and in what variety. Thank you. I am on a budget, I just want some guidance as to what beneficial diet would fit me.

P.S Please no colon cleansers, excessive supplements, or enemas and extremities of that nature, just food and natural remedies only.

Thank you very much in advance.

As long as I can remember, I never scored an A+ in going to the bathroom (passing stool) on a daily basis. i know that you’re supposed to go to the bathroom everyday to clean your system. I’ve tried the whole eating more fiber thing, but it didn’t make a major difference… I eat the same thing as most of my friends and family and they don’t have any issues. I’m in my 20s now, and the constipation, bloating, and really hard stool is starting to bother me… I don’t feel much discomfort because I’m used to the constipation. I never told my doctor, because it never worried me… but for some reason, it bothers me now. Today, I had a dull constant pain that lasted for 20 minutes. I didn’t feel like moving so I lied down. It went away, eventually. But now, when I exhale I can "feel" the pain. It’s a very minor pain… nothing like earlier today. I’m wondering if I have some kind of issue with my colon? Also, here are some symptoms/ signs I’ve been noticing… some, I’ve had since forever but the very last symptom is what I’ve been noticing for the past month:

-When I wipe, I notice blood on the toilet paper… minimal amount– I’m guessing it’s due to the torn tissues from passing hard stool… I ALWAYS have to use a plunger because my stool will never flush through :/

-I’m always bloated… but I suck it in (sorta)

-When I do have a stomach ache, I try to "squeeze" so I can pass gas (fart) but sometimes I can’t fart or I’m barely farting (I know that’s a silly description… but that’s the only way I can explain it)

-I’ve been noticing mucous in my stool… usually when I urinate I will notice discharge while wiping… but now I see it in my stool. I’ve also been going to the bathroom more than I usually do… instead of 2-3 a week, it’s every other day if not everyday… but it’s still really hard?

What do you think it is? I am probably going to go see a doctor, but was wondering what you thought… IBD?

I sometimes feel as though something is crawling around inside my rectal area. What is this? On a daily basis it constantly feel like Im tightening my rectal muscles and I have to consciously try to release the tightening of that muscle and not do it. Then it feels so much better but as soon as stop concentrating on not doing I later realize I have been doing it again. I had colon polyps removed 6 years ago. Ima 29 year old female. I havent had anal bleeding since but I did alot during my pregnancy, mixed with mucous. Sometimes, I feel shooting pain in my anal area. I know I had been diagnosed with diverticulosis or something like that during the time the polyps were removed. But sometimes I can be very still and it feels like something wiggling aroundmy rectum and trying to come out, or trying to go back in. I also have tail bone pain that actually can be seen and felt in my lower back. Im a 29 yr old female. Why and What is going on?

What did you think? I am on the bowel cleanse right now and can’t really post any of my questions about a possible daily meal plan sample. What do you or any other person who has done it for a long time eat on a daily basis?
