I was trying to go to the bathroom earlier, and I was constipated, so I was pushing kinda hard. And suddenly something started hurting in my butthole area every time I pushed. And it hurts REALLY bad. What could it be? And what do I do?
edit: It’s not from constipation. It’s not a "the poop won’t come out" pain. It’s a pain directly related to the pushing.
sorry if this is graphic
I have been on Suboxone for about 4 months at 8mg. I have been extremely constipated the whole time. When I say constipated, I mean I have a bowel movement every couple weeks. And the only way I have a bowel movement is by taking a laxative and when I take the laxative I take 3 times the dosage. And then I still only have a very small movement. I have gained 10lbs and my eating habilts haven’t changed. So I know the only reason for the weight gain is because I don’t have any movements. I don’t know where all the food I eat is going, but I am very scared. I went to my gastro guy and he gave me a new constipation med and that didn’t even work. I also have taken phospho soda, which is something you take before a colonoscopy to clean out your colon. And that didn’t work. I have sent away for that Dual Action Cleanse you see on TV and I asked my gastro guy about it and he said I could take it if I wanted to. So if anyone knows what I could do about this please let me know.
have been seeing and endocronologist for several months trying to get to the bottom of some sever issues that have been going on.
Between 15 and 16 i gained over 100 pounds and have since continued to gain weight. I also have had elivated cortisol, and testostrone levels, Irregular menstral cycles, and a number of various of problems.
Recently they also discovered a mass on my adernal gland, and diagnosed me with "pre-diabetes"
My endocronolgist has chalked this all up to having PCOS.
Previously a doctor first diagnosed me with endometriosis, then also said i had PCOS.
For about the last 3 months i have been having a new arrary of symptoms that did not go along with the PCOS also.
It started with me having pain in my hip joint, then proceeded to overall pelvic pain.
This further mutated into cronic pelvic, lower back and leg pain.
Which gets nearly unbearable with my menstral cycles.
Although they have always been irregualar, lately they have also become worse than ever.
I will have 2 week long periods that are litterally like turning on a sink from the moment they hit till the moment they stop, and then will come back only 2 weeks after i have stopped. (sorry to be so graphic)
The final problem is that i have been having endless cycles of constipation and diareah accompanied by sharp pains in my rectal area. Also when i cough, sneeze, or even move sometimes, i feel a sharp tug on my pelvic region (behind/below my uterus i think), or in my lower back
Is it possible these could be endometriosis? can you have both PCOS and endometriosis together? Could the PCOS be causing these problems?
Does anyone have any suggestions about what is going on with my body?
I do plan to address these problems with my doctor, but i am currently at school 4 hours from home.
Could I cleanse my colon within 2 or 3 días of fruit/vegetable fasting and by taking a Senna tea laxative every night?
I have cronic constipation though I live a healthy lifestyle and follow a very healthy diet now but I am bloated most days and want to sort of "re-start" by colon cleansing.
Hey everyone! I am 33, and throughout my adult life I have had a few episodes of constipation. After a while, I get back to normal movements. My question is, what happens to the fecal matter that doesn’t pass? Does it stay in the intestines? Or does it pass eventually? If so, will this add weight when i step on the scale? Finally, what;s the BEST way to clean the intestines? Thank you!
okay i ave had stomach pains for like the 2 days after getting better from constipation and alittle diarrhea and i have dark but not black stools and stomach pains but not terrible ones.
do i have colorectal cancer? im 11
Has anyone tried these colon cleansing products? Colonmate from colonmate.com or dual action cleanse. Ive tried colonmate but never dual..let me know if anyone has tried it for constipation or IBS. Colonmate is ok but I am looking for something a bit more stronger.
I want to cleanse my bowels, and stop this constipation naturally, without the use of laxatives,
cany body help
Some people say it’s regular constipation, some say it’s regular diarrhea, some say its constipation that comes and goes, some say it’s diarrhea that comes and goes, some say it alternates between the two, some say its BOTH at the same time.. like bowel movements that start hard and then get softer and then get runny toward the end…
I’m really confused.. what ARE the symptoms of IBS?
Okay so I want my intestines cleaned out! I had a bad case of food poisining, and have had constipation in the past…but there’s so much out there…I can’t tell the difference between these cleanses?
so I heard about the salt flush…but do you basically just drink salt water and eat normally?
any advice would be great thanks!
I feel that I suffer from Irritable bowel syndrome that leads to continuous constipation, the doctors said that there is no cure for me and this illness will stay with me forever. Can anyone tell me plz if there is something to decrease the illness symptoms?
Thanks in advance
So what can cause sever pain in the rectal region without having any bowel issues or cramps. I have had cramps, constipation, and I know what the urge to go feels like. This was something different. It has happened twice in the past two weeks. Both times the pain lasted a half an hour and both times was in the morning. I woke up from the pain. Also, it has happened in the past but during the middle of the night. I just woke up in horrible uncomfortable pain. AND NO I"M NOT GAY!! SAVE YOUR IDIOTIC COMMENTS FOR SOMEONE ELSE!!!
By the way I eat fairly healthy and use the bathroom regularly with little issues.
I am getting ready to start the Renew Cleanse Smart 30 day program. In order to prepare myself, I’ve been doing some preliminary things for the past 2 weeks to help my mind and body for a smoother start (Epsom salt baths, dry skin brushing, Castor oil packs, yoga, extra fiber, etc). During the past 2 weeks, I’ve noticed that my weight has consistantly gone down a little bit. However, today I weighed myself and I’ve gained 3 pounds in 3 days. What could be the cause of this? I’m eating healthy and have not been consuming extra calories this week. I’m having regular bowel movements so I don’t think it’s constipation that is causing the extra weight. This is my first cleanse though so I don’t know if this is normal to lose and gain along the way.
What exactly is "colon-cleansing"? And how do I know if I need it? I am 17 years old male who is experiencing constant constipation by the way.
I need a colon cleaner, but don’t know what is the best product. I am 48 years old and have been having constipation for the past 1 year now. Yes I have been to see a doctor. She told me I should add more fiber to my diet. I added more fiber but sometime it works and sometime it don’t. So I think I need a colon clean out. What do you think. And what is the best product to use.

I have recently been diagnosed with IBS. My doctor thinks this is why I get nauseated easily, especially when I’m under stress. But someone (a nurse) told me she had IBS for 40 years, and never experienced nausea with it. On IBS websites, it only mentions diarrhea and constipation, and pain, not nausea. What is the truth?
I took a laxative about 2 months ago to clear up my first case of constipation since I was a kid (I’m coming up on 30). Ever since then I’ve felt like there is something lodged in my descending colon. I went to see the doctor about it out of fear that I had colorectal cancer. They performed a colonoscopy and nothing showed up, no polyps or even hemrroids. I don’t have diahrrea or excessive gas, so it isn’t IBS. The doctor seems to think that it’s my diet. But I eat healthy and have never had this problem before. Now I have a constant feeling of pressure/discomfort in my descending colon and never goes away. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks ahead of time.
This is a serious question. Those of you who bring up gay sex and hamsters will be promptly reported.
I have been having gas pains in my tummy and constipation, for several years. Recently, it has become worse, and I am considering colonics. How does the procedure work? Is it painful?
This problem has become so bad that I absolutely minimize eating solids. All I really do is drink milk. None the less, the every third day, I get <constipated> and the pain it causes is immense. I can barely move my legs until I am able to remove the constipation (I’ll be as kind to spare You these details). ANYWAY, one Doctor hypothesized it’s the build up of you-know-what, possibly somewhere in by ascending or transverse colon, that goes and pushes up against something, that pushes another thing, which ultimately pushes into my sciatic nerve. The sciatic, incidentally, is one of the biggest nerves You got and if You saw it in a dissection, it’s quite thick and visible. Thus, a very important and vulnerable nerve.
I’d like to hear back from anyone who has experienced a similar problem with constipation leading to such severe pain (sciatica) that it stops You from walking or standing up for that matter.
I hate pain pills, but I can’t seem to escape them for my osteoarthritis problems I must live with.
Thank You Sincerely for Your answer, if You care to venture sharing Your experience. Sincerely, <Kraken>
i have really really bad bowel movement..about 2 times a week, but i’m not straining…my stool is pretty pasty..not rock hard..but for some reason i feel like my rectal has tiny tears and it kinda hurts and burns a little…at times i find blood on my stools too…i know it sound serious but the way i feel i think it’s from my constipation and it’s more on the external of my rectal rather than internal…i want to go and check this out…who should i go see? i’m a female should i go see my gynocologist? do gynos check these kind of things out?
I was diagnosed with a UTI after complaining of sharp pelvic/abdominal pain. I also described a throbbing/stabbing sort of pain in my rectum that gets worse when sitting and walking. The dr suggested it might just be because of the UTI but I have doubts. I can’t find anything that supports this and it is really killing me! I had some constipation and difficulty going to the bathroom for the past few days but I have gone. It is rather hard, though, but I am not stopped up. Why is it throbbing? Can I get some relief????
I am having the urgency to have a bowel movement but all that comes out is blood, about a teaspoon or two. Has been happening for two days now.
I am having some constipation. I have never had **** sex. And I have not been to any foreign countries. Its pretty painful in my abdomen right now.
occurance alternating from constipation to diarrea. My friend is having some terrible trouble and no medical coverage so need something to help.Any ideas??
I have been having a lot of problems with recurring constipation and have wanted to try a colon cleanse to get rid of the compacted stools. I just have a feeling that there are stools that are stuck in my bowels. My diet isn’t terrible but isn’t good either. Can you give an natural recommendations or commercially available colon cleanses that would loosen the compacted stools? I have seen a bunch of websites that try to see these. Which is good for this?
Is there a way to cleanse or at least have MUCH better bowel movements without the use of doctors, special pills and wierd teas?
I mean like any normal foods/drinks or even positions….I ask this because lately I have been having sluggish bowels and constipation, but don’t want to use any medicine/pills/clinical procedures and just stick to a natural way.
No Scanner I didn’t know…what’s wrong with using straight water with an enema
