so, I’m looking into colon cleansing, because I’m DISGUSTED by what junk you get in your body that is toxic.
I’m 15.
would it be safe for me to do this ?
don’t worry, I’m going to the doctors at the end of August to talk to her about it, but I just want your opinion :)

For example, in the future do you think they will be able to replace a diseased colon that has ulcerative colitis with a new colon grown from the patient’s own extracted stem cells? I do know that they already replace bladders in this way. Also, if you believe this will be possible, when do you think it will happen?
yes, to answerer #2, I am talking about IBD like Crohn’s or Ulcerative Colotis. The question is assuming a cure in the future. One possibility is micobacteria avium paratuberculosis, otherwise known as MAP which has been linked from Johne’s disease in cows. It’s possible that some people with Crohn’s are susceptible to this infection which is prevalent in milk (even after pasteurization) and possibly in cow meat if it hasn’t been cooked well enough. The jury is still out but it’s being looked at closely and researched. Otherwise It could be a possibility for clients who have had their colons removed due to ulcerative colitis, and have been symptom free for awhile.

I am hearing about all of these detox things (foot pads/colon cleanse/etc) and I was wondering if other people have tried it.
Don’t they test this stuff on mice …

Can a really bad diet cause constipation? I’ve had chronic constipation my whole life, the docs see nothing wrong with the structure of my colon. But not too long ago I started thinking, my whole life, my diet has sucked. No veggies, no fruits, no water…. Yeah, we only buy what our mom likes, so our diet is usually not very good. Could my diet be causing this problem I’ve had my whole life?

Apparently I can lose as much as six pounds in one week just by cleansing my colon. And it must be an issue, because there is no shortage of people out there who are more than willing to help me. I guess maybe all those toxins are worth something to someone. Is it worth quitting my good aerospace job to pursue a career cleansing colons?
You guys are killing me! This is hysterical!

There is so much good info out there. The truth is so simple. To be fit and close to ideal body weight you must eat healthy reasonable meals and get some sort of exercise a few times a week. Genetics does play are role and determines how close you have to watch you diet and how much exercise you need during the week to stay in shape. There are some medical conditions that will cause a person to be big or small but those are not the normal cause of weight issues in America today. You do not have to be on any special diet, or have some special work out video to loose weight. Diet pills can cause temporary movement in you weight but are not long term fixes and can have very negative effects. Like most things in this world if you have is some motivation, self discipline, and education on the issue then you have everything you need to be a success. You do not need to pay to clean you colon or for a bottle of pills. Why is this so hard to accept for may people.

How would I tell the difference between water weight, being bloated, and having to get a detox/colon cleanse? I really, REALLY need to know!! Help me please!!

I am having an Ovarian surgery on tuesday and I have to take 510 grams of Miralax (powdered laxitives) to empty out my colon. I know that my ovary is by my colon, but what danger is it to have a full colon when they do surgery,? or why do they perfer an empty colon??

its my second pregnancy i had a misscarriage with the first pregnancy but lately ive been really constipated and i know its bad to push is their aanythingi can include in my daily diet that will make me have soft bowel movements daily or is it ok for me to take laxative just once as to cleanse my colon?

Hey yahooers,

I am going to the doctor in a couple of days, so i will be asking him as well, but just to see if anyone else can help…

I am on an anti depressant called pristiq, and i want to give the acai max cleanse and nature detox system (aka colon cleanse lol) a try cause i could do to lose a bit of weight…

Although these products say they’re natural and stuff, would it be okay to have all that or could it maybe interfere somehow? Because that weight loss thing does sound reliable and like it works! (which would be FANTASTIC!)

If it will cause colon dependency like other laxatives, it contains Psyllium Husk Powder, Senna, Fennel Seed, Peppermint, Papaya, Buckthorn Bark, Oregon Grape Root, Celery, Milk-Free Acidophilus.
I ask because on the bottle it says to not take it for more than a week just like any other laxative but the guy in the health food store told me i can take it for longer and it won’t cause dependency.
Has anyone ever taken this Super Colon Cleanse, if so, can you tell me what your reactions are to this, I bought the power form.

Hey guys,
I’ve had acne since I was a teenager. Was diagnosed as having candida overgrowth in NOvember, so did the diet for that and it’s now gone, but my acne is still there. My naturopath says I’m very toxic. Apparently colon cleanse works, but I have no idea where to start or whether it may be dangerous? Has anyone got any advice?
Thanks!

I am a 29 year old overweight male. I’ve always had the ability to have a healthy, good sized bathroom break. For about the last week or so, I’ve been eating normally, but I’ve only really had explosive diarrhea, or watery bowel movements with a little bit of soft feces, and a liquid floating on top. The last time I tried to go I ended up passing a small piece of what looked like those sales pictures you see for colon cleanse products. It looked like tripe (cow stomach) you see on the grocery store shelves. I haven’t had the urge to go at all in the past 2 days, but I made myself try to a few minutes ago. After straining almost to the point of passing out, I passed a small, hard grey/green colored clay-like stool.

I’m worried I may be developing, or already have a bowel obstruction, and the diarrhea is squeezing past that. From what I’ve read it could also be IBS (which I am not diagnosed with yet). I am able to pass gas (and a lot of it), but that seems to be all I’m passing lately. Should I worry? To go from one extreme (diarrhea) to the other (severe constipation) doesn’t seem right.

I also have mild stinging pains radiating around my stomach, similar to what I would have before/after having a bout of diarrhea, but nothing seems to want to come out.
I’m freaking out about this and cant even sleep or calm down, so any help would be appreciated. I will call a doctor when they open but until then, I’ll be worrying my butt off.

i was told to eat more fiber in my diet due to diverticulosis diagnosed during my colon test. the foods that are high in fiber, i.e. vegs and nuts and beans, cause stomach gas so what do you do?

I haven’t been taking very good care of myself & this weekend my friends & I went out (which is a rare occasion for me). So I want to completely cleanse/detox my system of alcohol, toxins just a complete fresh start. I am really trying to avoid the colon option…if possible.

How much miralax do i need to buy to clean my colon out? I know i have to be on a clear liquid diet, but i wanna make sure im 100% cleaned out! how much gatorade? im nervous! help please

im looking for a good colon cleanse that works and won’t hurt my body. what have you tried..did it help? i am looking into this but i want to use a good product, not just products from these cheesy advertisments.

I eat an all natural diet. High in fiber. Lots of vegetables and fruits. Nuts and whole grains. Its the only food in my diet. Along with protein from fish and chicken. Seems like a healthy diet but I’ve recently developed a pain in lower right abdominal. Its like a discomfort all around that area and into lower intestines. Days ago I had a stool that was maroon colored. My dr said all this was probably because my diet produces hard stools and probably scratched my colon and irratated it. So I’ve been takin stool softeners for the last few days and havnt noticed that big of a difference. Is this something that just needs more time or should I go in to a specialiast at hospital.

I am looking to lose a few pounds and heard wonderful things about the Acai colon cleanse and detox pills. Does anyone know from experience if these products really work? I am active so its not like Im trying to lose weight by sitting on my bum, I just need an extra boost to help. I have a 17month old and have lost most of the weight but still have a belly that looks like Im 4months prego and i always feel so bloated PLEASE IF ANYONE HAS ANY HELPFUL SUGGESTIONS, I WOULD LOVE TO HEAR THEM!

I’ve been having symptoms of colon or anal cancer for several months now, but will not have insurance coverage until jan or feb!! I’ve been avoiding going to the emergency room or some clinic because I’m scared that if it is discovered before insurance, it will be considered a pre-existing condition and they will not cover treatment related to the cancer. Not sure what to do or if that is even the case. Any advice? Thanks, I’m praying that it is nothing serious.
p.s. in an attempt to avoid any hurtful jokes, I have NEVER had anal sex.
On many occasions the toilet bowl has been completely red after a movement.
Pain after movements for several hours.
Pain during movements (even it is soft).
The blood is bright red.

I keep hearing about this diet, but can’t find details about it, such as:

-Does it only make you lose size in your tummy, or does it make you lose weight everywhere?
-Do you have to use it with the colon cleanse to make the effects most efficient?
-Do you have to continue use in order to maintain its effects?

I don’t have much weight to lose, and I mainly just want to lose size in my thighs. Will this diet work for my goals? Will my legs stay smaller even after I discontinue use?

hello,

i am almost 19 years old and i am thinking of doing a colon, liver and candida yeast cleanse. does anyone know if there is a minimal/suitable age you should be to do all of these cleanses? is it a good idea to do even if i don’t show the symptoms of someone who needs the cleanse and i adhere to a diet rich in fibre?
