i need to lose weight quikly but without colon cleansing or detox or these kinds of diets
pleasee help moiiii
Thxxxxx :) )

What is your experience with acai? does it help you lose weight? if so, how? What about colon cleansing? Thank you.

I have had mono for almost 10 months now. My lifestyle is very stressful. I work 16 – 20 hour days regularly, I have a very tense situation at home and I am too exhausted to do much cooking or exercise.

I was wondering if there were any nutrient rich foods that didnt require much preparation. I eat my breakfst lunch and dinner on the go or on a lunch break. What can I eat at work that will really give my organs the boost i need to get better?

Also, I have been considering detox/colon cleansing. Will this help?

Okay, so I am feeling bloated. I’m irregular like "WHOAH!" I’m thinking of thriving on veggies and lax tea for a few days. My stomach is sticking out some, too. I’m a fattycakes, but even after having kids, my stomach never stuck out that much. I just want to re-jump start weight loss starting with a colon cleansing.
Do not thumbs-down smartypants responses. It’s to be expected of some of my awesome contacts. If it’s funny, laugh.
I have to cut out coffee????
*cries*
I’m going to be sluggish, but I’m gonna do what I gotta do.

I used to fast regularly. The longest I’ve fasted was for four days at a time which I did weekly. The spiritual breakthroughs I experienced were amazing. Since giving birth, I figure I will wait until my baby is weaned, probably in about 12-15 months, but if I have another baby soon, it will be possibly a couple of years before I can fast. I also used to do colon cleansing and other detox diets. I’m not really asking about that although I could REALLY REALLY use that now, I can see it in my eyes and feel it in my energy levels. I want to know your ELABORATED opinions on fasting while breastfeeding and not just "don’t do it!!!" responses. If anyone out there has done it or knows someone who’s done it, your input would be so valuable! I’m not planning to do it, just wishing and wondering. My baby is 3 months, supplemented with about 6 oz. formula daily and at the top/above her weight level for her age. Thanks for your help!

worked at all for losing any weight..What about Colon Cleansing has anyone use that and does it or did it work for you..

Im a 28yr old guy and ive been having this problem for about 4 or 5 years. I mostly sleep around 10:30 pm and mainly because i lose my sleep around 2am if i sleep around 9pm. My problem is; everytime i wake up at down i have a ‘hunger’ pain and cramps in my tummy (like i have not eaten in a week). Saddly this happens when im not stressed and when im stressed i sleep well and i can even wake up at 9am. I went to a doctor and she suspects it might be IBS (irritable bowel syndrome). Which is not curable as yet. I tried detox tea, colon cleansing tea and deworming my system but nothing seems to work. What might be the cause? Is it normal? Someone please help coz i living my life tired everyday because of sleeplesness.

I feel the need of cleansing my colon. Reason: Chronic constipation, indigestion since last few months, obesity, heavy-feeling on waist-stomach part, slight pain in part above bowel-passing area which makes me feel as if my colon is not okay and may require some cleansing.

I exercise occassionally. I m generally a stressed out person with something piling on my personality – emotional stress or physical or job stress.

While browing thru net, I have come accross a product known as COLONIX. Pls refer to website below.

http://www.drnatura.com/colonix_program.php

I need to know if this product can be safe to us.

Or, pls suggest me some "Natural way of cleansing colon" without having to take some medication.

I want to be healthy but in a natural way. I eat lot of fruits, green veggies and normal meals. I am fond of drinking milk-tea and put two-three spoons in it each time (I drink upto 4 cups daily). I like to eat McDonalds and some junk food like chips/chocolates/cookies/cakes. But I m not addicted to these and eat these 2-3 times in a week.

But I want to know if anyone of you have ever gone thru colon cleansing and felt better. Or if you have not gone thru colon cleansing and still feel better.

All answers are welcome!

Thanks for reading and answering my query!

I have been hearing that the best way is to detox your self from the insided out. Has anyone tried Colon Cleansing? And does it really work like some people say it does?

So I was doing some online research and was very close to purchasing a colon cleanse kit. However, I found a lot of information stating that a healthy diet and lots of fiber is all humans need to get the movements going as the colon is a self-cleansing organ AND that colon cleansing can flush out the beneficial bacteria and cause dehydration. So I’ve opted to up the fiber and drink more water. I go at least twice a day, so I don’t think I have a problem. I will leave my colon alone and continue to take probiotics.

My first question is this: Should I do a parasite cleanse? I haven’t tested positive for parasites, but I read that you can have parasites and not know it and that a parasite cleanse should be done once a year. I read that humans can pick up parasites just about anywhere, so is a yearly parasite cleanse necessary for maintenace/prevention?

As for the second question: Is a detox really necessary, or should a drastic change in diet and supplements do the trick? I saw a nutritionist who wants me to go totally organic with fruits and meats (I agree with the meats), but I can’t afford totally organic with produce as my budget doesn’t allow for it. Plus,I live in LA and am exposed to toxic air every day. The whole "detox" and "organic only" craze has me confused. If I thorougly wash my conventionally grown fruits and veggies, is that good enough to was away pesticides, bacteria, and parasites?

Okay, so you know how in the Diet&Fitness section we get all those spam answers about how to "lose weight"? Y’know, the ones that go "I lost weight doing such and such, click here to find out more!!" (by the way, acai berry does NOT burn fat, it’s just filled with antioxidants…at least, that’s what my research says…I’ve been drinking pomegranate/acai berry juice for years and have not lost a single calorie because of it..It just tastes good to me).

So anyway, I came across one that said, "I cleansed my colon and lost weight!!" (more or less.)

What I want to know is, HOW in the HELL is that related to weight loss? And anyway, isn’t it incredibly dangerous to get a colon cleansing? I heard that it results in all kinds of problems, including getting a bad case of the runs.
Lol ironic how I’m blasting the "colon spam" and yet I get one of those spam answers here. Anyway, yeah, I just never understood how POOPING had anything to do with losing body fat. Hell, if I could lose weight by taking a dump, I’d be a supermodel right now.

long story short, this adv on a site had the words ‘colon cleansing’ so i clicked just to see what on earth it is,

this came up http://www.blessedherbs.com/?sp=internal-cleanse&s_cid=colon%20cleansingcontent_14_3_001& (DO NOT CLICK UNLESS YOU ARE SURE YOU CAN HANDLE THE GROSS)

i was shocked how the hell their bodies produced that. Not to be even more gross, my diet is omnivore, but i have never produced something that you can pick up with chopsticks….

are they sick? is this a disease? what on earth…?

I have been having these appr.30 bowel movements…i have been having bad acne…about 2 weeks ago had full body itching…and i think that’s a hemmroid that pokes out and hurts…a don’t have the best diet…someone please help me..i think i need a colon cleansing..or something????

Say you had a symptom of colon cancer maybe 4 years ago, but then 4 years later you feel fine, energetic and still feel good and healthy even after hard days labor, have a good appetite, no nausea or fatigue, etc and still have the same normal weight is it a good chance that you dont really have the cancer? Or would the symptoms actually get worse if you really had the cancer? Reason i ask is because 4 years ago i saw blood in my stool ( which i did go to the doctor and it turns out i have a pilondial cyst which bleeds periodically) I was 18 at the time and now im 22, and even tho i went to the doctor I was still so scared about this, he assured me i was fine, but since im pessimistic it still has been in the back of my mind for the past 4 years that I think about it all the time. Since then iv become obsessed witht he consistancy and frequency of bowel movements etc, and have also become more anxious and nervous ever since. Physically i have no other symptoms and I havent really had anything else aside from occasional gas, etc but nothing persistant. I did a colon cleansing and that seemed to work and increased my bowel frequency. Lately though iv been very nervous and my bowel movements though normal, feel like htey are smaller than usual when i go. Is this cause of my nervousness? Iv been to the doctor and he says its just in my head because i think about it all the time, but i still say that ever since i seen the blood in my stool, even though the pilondial cyst was doing it, I still get worried. Physically i feel fine. I work a physically gruelling job 40 hours a week, sometimes 9 hours a day and i have alot of energy, I eat alot, and my weight has been the same since i can remember, the only thing is that I get extremely anxious and nervous and i still cant seem to stop worrying. I figure that if i really would have had a cancer for this long i might feel sicker , but im still not assure, nothing ever puts me to ease, not even a doctors word.

Hi, I’m a 27 year old male who has not exactly had the best diet over the last 5 years or so. I’m trying to get healthier and I saw this info-mercial the other night for colon cleansing, where the product releases the built up residue coating the inside of your colon and you pass these "ropes" of feces…(yuck!! I know).

Well, I thought if this actually works, this would be a good place to start with my goal of becoming healthier. But I’d want to know if this actually works the way they say it does or if it’s just junk science.

If anyone could help me out with what they know about this, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks.

I’ve been interesting in cleansing my body internally for awhile now. I don’t want to visit any clinics or anything and get that huge tube (LOL) but I am interested in taking some supplements or vitamins. I’ve been reading up on Dr. Natura Colonix and although it’s mainly positive, I also seen a lot of negative reviews. But I want to feel healthier and I don’t want my gas or breath to smell bad. I also remember seeing an infomercial on television about a colon cleansing product that seemed very good at removing a lot of the waste in regular bowel movements (nothing like laxatives though). Does anyone know that product or can recommend anything else?
No. This has nothing to do with diet pills or wanting to be thin. I just heard it’s important to cleanse your body every once in awhile with a cleansing that lasts for a few days and not like, months or anything since that’ll take away your body’s nutrients and moisture.

(Doctors’ answers prefered.)
Is it safe to take liver cleansing supplements and colon cleansing supplements? If so, is there a certain brand you recommend? What exactly is in the supplement that is effective? Is it possible to overdose? I am a 20 yr old female with irregular bowel movements and occational nausea. My stomach is often uncomfortable and bloated (even when I’m not on my period), and I’m wondering if it would help to take colon cleansing supplements. Every now and then, maybe every 2-3 months, I get so nauseous for an hour or so and then I vomit. After I vomit I feel better but I still feel exhausted so I usually go to sleep afterwards. I already exercise, drink plenty of water, and eat healthy, but nothing I do seems to work. My doctor says there is nothing she can do because there is no consistency and there doesn’t seem to be a certain food that triggers it so she can’t diagnose anything. Also, I don’t know if this is relevant but sometimes if I’m hungry I get dizzy. If I dont eat enough I get very fatigued and sometimes dizzy. I’m 5’4" and about 108 lbs. That is a healthy weight for my body type. Just to clarify, I don’t starve myself, I always try to make sure I’ve eaten enough. Thanks

right i went to see my doctor about a year ago which told me i was a stone over weight he said its nothing majour but it would be nice to loose a little preferably a stone, i have tried everything the rosemary Conley diet with size portions ect, tried the fat diet ,tried exercising everyday you name it iv done and in the proses i only managed to loose 8 pounds ! so i went back to my doctor which said i wasnt doing enough exercise ! although i have i completely changed my life style with the outdoors, so he told me he couldnt rescribe me nothing cause i wasnt obese (which i totaly dissagree with) so i looked up on the internet acai berries and colon cleansing, the berries are all natural ingrediants and the colon cleansing takes all the bad toxic waste. now everywhere i look im being told its good for weight loss even the chemist people say as its just like the alli which cost about £40, now my question is to you does this work and have you had and succsesfull weight-loss with this or another ?

I’ve been taking Colon Cleansing Pills for several days now because my friend suggested that I start cleaning my colon out, since it contains so much "crap" that can turn your body into a toxic mine. Anyway, I’ve taken them since last Friday, becuase the bottle says to take 4 capsules 3 times a day, I can’t scarf that many down so I just take 4 in the evening after dinner, but on Sunday I forgot to take them so I didn’t have a bowel movement on Monday and I took them Monday after dinner and I didn’t have a bowel movement right after I woke up like I normally do, I had one about and hour after I got into work and then 45 minutes after that one; is this normal for colon cleansing pills? Should I stop taking them? I want to clean my colon and become regular again, I eat lots of fiber, but it seems that it doesn’t help much on it’s own.

Thanks,

A friend wants to buy the colon cleansing advertised on TV by this sleazy looking guy and woman in a sequened jacket. My fried says they stated John Wayne had ?? pounds of bowel in his colon when he died…. good lord…. any comments?

Please answer these questions:
1. Will juice fasting only worsen constipation? Or will it revitalize the bowel by the end of the fast, and reduce constipation?
2. Since juice fasting leads to colon cleansing, is it beneficial for someone with constipation?
3. I heard that one should not fast after a surgery. Is it safe for a person to do juice fasting 3 weeks after plastic surgery?

Thanks in advance. :)

I was heavily constipated as a child, and even now sometimes struggle to have one bowel movement a week. I’ve started to have more fibre, fresh veg and loads of water, but I’m worried there’s a ‘backlog’ of excrement inside me, possibly years old, that will stay and poison me unless i flush it out.

Do I need my colon cleansed or will a high fiber diet alone clean my insides? Do home cleansing kits work? What about colonic irrigation? Whats the best option for someone with a low budget?
i’m also kind of sceptical the craze of colon cleansing is just a huge con. i don’t think one of the leading brands, blessedherbs, has even been approved by the FDA.

Hey, so I decided that I wanted to take like a colon cleansing or detox sort of product to kick start my diet and excerise plan, does anybody have any idea which ones are good and which was scams?! Because there are so many scam ones that claim to make you lose weight and celebrities are using it and so on, but I much more interested in actually cleaning my colon from toxins and helping regulate my digestive track. If anyone has any input that would be so helpful!

Drew and Mike used to talk abou this guy on their moring show. They called him "DR. POO" or something like that. He was/is a real doctor. The guy was selling some kind of colon/digestive tract cleanser that was supposed to produce 1-2 ft. long bowel movements. Anyone know the name of the product? I haven’t listened to them in ages, I can’t get them where I live now.

Serious question. What WAS the name of the colon cleansing product?
