OK, I am a 30 year old father that is not very healthy. I watch a lot of those late night infomercials and one night I seen a advertisement for some colon cleansing products.

I decided there was not much I could lose by trying a program like this so I did some research online and pick a system to start with. I am also in the process of giving up soda and exercising more too.

My worry though is what other people have gone through when doing a detox like this. Recently, I have seen some loss of energy and headaches. With so many different colon cleansing products on the market with a HUGE difference in price (.00 up to 0.00) how does one go about picking one? I want one that works, but I’d rather not pay 0.00. I’ve read tons on the internet so now I’d like to know YOUR personal experiences with specific products. Which have you used, which do you like, which don’t you like and why. Has anyone tried these colon cleansing products? Colonmate from colonmate.com or dual action cleanse. Ive tried colonmate but never dual..let me know if anyone has tried it for constipation or IBS. Colonmate is ok but I am looking for something a bit more stronger.

I have been looking online at the latest diets to crop up, and lately all I’ve been seeing are various versions of colon-cleansing products like the ‘One Flat Stomach Rule’ and ColoPure. Ever time I try to research the products and procedures, I only end up reading through ads and testimonials. There doesn’t seem to be any legitimate research at all! This makes me very hesitant to spend any time or money on the suggested products, because no solid evidence is provided to ensure that they really work.

My question is: has anyone out there discovered any actual scientific or medical information about any of these fad diets? I’ve lost 48 pounds in the past year, but I’ve been planteauing now for several months and I would really like to get down below a size 16. If these diets actually work, I’d like to give one a try; but I’m not going to take all these testimonials on faith alone: I want some damn evidence.

I just suspect they are full of it. We heard and read many complaints about colon cleansing products over the past year, some of them being pretty upsetting. We spent the last 6 months reading over 25 different readily available colon cleansing products online. We were looking for products that produced results without being irritating. Some of the products required a complete lifestyle and diet change which for most people is extremely inconvenient and expensive.

But they need something, right? Maybe a box of Exlax.

If you search colon cleanse on google theres all these pictures of weird crap that is supposedly flushed out of people’s systems after taking colon cleansing products. Is this real or some kind of scam to get people to buy the products?
