If a person eats breakfast before brushing his teeth and is not aware that he has gingivitis or periodontis disease. Will he gets colon cancer? Is there any link? Should he change his routine to eat breakfast after brushing his teeth?

will i be able to get treated after 6-8 weeks of having symptoms of colon cancer? i feel fine right now … i read somewhere that colon cancer can be treated if it is detected early…how early??

My best friend has stage 4 colon cancer. She’s only 24 years old. She told me that they are going to start radiation, what does that mean? I read about how they do it, but how bad does it have to be before they do radiation?

Colon cancer is right behind (no pun intended) lung cancer and heart disease as the biggest threat to your mortality. And to think you would have survived with early detection. Cheez! Okay, a little smelly but so what? Are you so stupid that you’d rather die than submit a stool sample to your family doctor? Give your butt a break or Rest in Peace.

my boyfriend has 4th stage colon cancer. They removed some of the colon. they now say both lobes of his liver have cancer spots and they are concerned about a spot on his lung.

Is it possible to have colon cancer, and yet only have one symptom, which is abdominal discomfort, which is on and off and can be absent for months and then come back, at age 21- and again, no other symptoms except the on and off discomfort pain, which usually is only there in the morning the days it does appear?

And how does one get screened for Intestinal cancer?

Colon cancer runs in my family and I have a colonoscopy every year. But I found out that a close relative has Intestinal cancer.

Xeloda tablets are taken twice daily and Avastin 2xmonth intervenous. How effective is this as a primary treatment for colon cancer that has matastized to the liver. The cancer is inoperable and also harsher chem/radiation regimens are not possible due to poor health and severe renal problems. The cancer was operated on some time back so it is not present in the colon. Just the liver.

i think my husband might have colon cancer. he complains that he feels like he has go to the bathroom but doesnt need to, throws up every night, tired/weak, stomach hurts alot and little blood in toilet. could that be what it is or something else?

I read that colonoscopys are given to people over 50 because people my age arent at risk or it’s rare to have colon cancer. My brother-in-law has just been diagnosed with colon cancer. Apparently it's already spread to his liver and lungs. He also has some cysts formed on his kidneys and pancreas. They've told him it's terminal and he has about 3 years to live. The man is only 41! He has 4 young girls, the youngest being 3. He hasn't started any treatment yet, but they're going to do a colonscopy, and will remove the colon, then he'll start chemo. My question: Is there anything out there that could possibly fix the damage done? Any sort of herbal remedies he could try before the doctors start their treatment? What about life insurance? Does anyone know of a company that will cover him? Has anyone recovered from this illness personally? If so, how? We refuse to let him die without first trying every available resource possible. It happened to Gwenyth Paltrow's dad…he had colon cancer, overcame it and then passed from a massive heart attack. The same thing happend to my grandfather. Does anyone else know of a similar circumstance?
