A patient who was diagnosed of colon cancer stage 4 who undergone chemotheraphy ;after few yrs will the cancer come back ? how long is the life span of most colon cancer survivors? Mpst effective treatment or herbal medications perhaps? Or some advice to prevent it especially if it runs in the family?
My aunt was very recently diagnosed with colon cancer, and is currently in the hospital. I am very worried about her, and I don’t really know anything about this form of cancer. Is it easy to cure? How long does treatment typically take? Can your body reject or rufuse treatment?

I’m 14 year old male, and I am not obese or anything.
Note that I have minor IBS symptoms but I’m not sure about this one.
When I press on the lower right part of my abdomen (about 3 inches above your right leg) I feel some sort of thing when I push on it and it makes a little vibration in my abdomen, It’s not a lump but it feels like muscle and I think it is my appendix.
Does anyone else get that feeling of when you push down on the right part of the lower abdomen it makes a minor vibration in your stomach, Or is it just me with IBS.
I went to my GP and from my description of symptoms he said it was IBS but I haven’t been tested for it. I think it is the start of the ascending colon as it feels like it.
You have to go right deep as I am pretty skinny to.
I doubt this is colon cancer as I have no family history of it, I don’t smoke or drink, I’m not sure if I have any polyps either.
I also have a very very very minor stomach ache, you barely notice it.
Hope someone tells me what it is,
Jack.
Ok, my stomach doesn’t vibrate. A little vibration occurs of where I pushed.
My family – parents, brother, aunt, and uncle – and I moved into our current house in July 2009. Since then, we have been visited by several housing inspectors due to complaints from an anonymous neighbor. The complaints vary from the lawn not being well-kept and visible tire and car cleaners in OUR driveway to unsightly storage under our deck. We mow our lawn every two or three weeks or more often, depending on how rainy the season is; my brother likes to take care of his car so he has a couple of car and tire cleaners tucked in a corner of the driveway and by no means obstructing it; we store our roof ladder, lawn mower, and other tools under our deck because we can’t fit them into the shed.
I suspect that the neighbor next door is the one who’s been complaining about us but I have no solid proof except that she always bothers my family members about cutting our grass and how our bushes are rusting her metal fence. Mind you, this person stays at home all day and has nothing to do but works on her lawn. I’m not even sure what she does for a living. I confronted her once by going over and knocking on her door. She didn’t even open the door for me and barked at me for having the nerves to knock on her door. All I wanted to do was to ask if she had called the housing inspectors and if so, why did she have such a problem with our lawn and us. I found out that she thought that we were a bunch of rambunctious college students. My mother and father are in their late 50s and they work until very late at night. How rambunctious can a couple of exhausted old people be?
I had a talk with her and I thought that I made it clear that we can take care of our lawn just fine and we really do not require her advices and suggestions. I told her that the reason my mom does not mow the lawn is because she had an open-heart surgery and colon cancer. I figured if I played the C-word, the woman would stop harassing a sick person. This conversation was more than a month ago.
Two days ago, a housing inspector came again with the complaint against the storage space under our deck. I am really at my wits’ end dealing with this unnecessary stress. I do not know whom to turn to for help. Is it illegal to turn the space below your deck into a storage area? I can’t see how this takes away from the aesthetic facade of a house. Almost every house I pass by stores some things under their deck.
I appreciate any comments that can help alleviate this inessential and unwarranted suffering.
As if the economic climate isn’t bad enough for us all, I have to deal with an ignoramus who can’t look beyond her own vacuum of an existence.
Please, help!
Thank you so so so much!!!

Thank you for all your answers. I would love more than anything to eviscerate this woman and demolish her quaint little house, but I have to agree that it is more tactful and effective to just keep up with the codes at this point. Hopefully, the inspectors will, as some of you said, grow sick of this tiresome cow and her bullsh*t-retentive udders.
I would like to clarify certain points in my post: We used to mow the lawn every week, then we realized that the grass was not growing as tall or as thick as it should have. It may be the soil, who knows. So, we increased the mowing intervals to two weeks; still, it was stunted. We watered and helped it grow in any way we could so that we could have a well-manicured lawn but I think the soil around our house is just full of clay and not as nutritious. I’m tempted to just fill the whole yard with cement and call it quits.
A person I love have stage 3 or maybe 4 colon cancer و she made a surgery for cancer in the ovarian and uterian , she has small nodes in the colon and by the way she also removed part of the colon in the surgery 2 .. any way the doc told Us that her sucess rate is 80 percent . The prb she has animia now and she is not eating well , also she had bad kidney prbs since her kidney functions wasn’t good before desicovering her cancer …
My question Is
1- how i can encourage her to eat , what food can boost her immunity and benefit her in cancer ?
2-I heard chemo can kills , does alternative treatment is best ? if so why all people are just taking chemo ?
i heard
Protocel
Cesium High pH Therapy
can help in her case , is that really true ? is cesium more effective ? shall she stop the chemo & take this …
can she takes this medecine along with chemo or not ?
also last question is possible to keep prevent healthy cell from being damaged during chemo ? is there sometips or so ?
My grandmother survived colon cancer about 5 years ago. I want to do all I can to prevent it. I figured I would start by eating healthier and adding more fiber and water to my diet. I also just started taking dual action cleanse. I got it from walmart, so i didn’t pay a ton of money for it. Is it safe?
my dad has stage four colon cancer and was diagnosed in mid december. its spread to his liver and lungs and part of his stomach. he also has luekemia. what is the longest he could live with certain treatments?

I recently found out through a family member that my dad is going to Phoenix to see some specialist for colonoscopies/colon cancer. He had his colonoscopy and polyps or cysts were found. Does anyone know if Phoenix has any unique cancer treatment centers/diagnostic centers? I’m very confused about everything, but I can’t confront him about it because he’s not supposed to know that I know.
I am 32 year old healthy female, vegetarian for 17 years. no history of colon cancer in family. I sometimes get this quick sharp or dull pain in my rectum. I have never had blood in my stool or black stool. i have not lost any weight and have not lost my appetite at all. I have also had normal blood work twice in the last 10 months……can this be rectal or colon cancer?
When I DID have insurance, I asked for one and my doctor said no. She wouldn’t even examine my colon maybe because I don’t fall into the stereotype of the older male patient who get VIP treatment.
Anyway, lately I see little drops of blood from my behind and things just don’t feel right back there, plus I have a family history of colon cancer. I currently no longer have health insurance. Can I just walk into a hospital and request a colon cleanse and if so how much out of pocket would it cost?
I had colon cancer surgery and am taking chem treatments my liver count is up can you tell me a site to see pictures of liver damage from taking chem

He has stage III, possibly IV, colon cancer. He has had a portion of his large intestine, along with the cancer removed. However 6 out of 10 lymph nodes in that portion contained cancer. Also the cat scan showed something in the liver but he is to get an MRI to determine if that is cancer or not. He will be receiving chemo. through a port, 2 days every week for 6 months. Are there any alternative or additional treatments available?
I know that holding in your urine when you don’t really need to is bad for you, but just how bad? Will it cause colon cancer/kidney disease?
I have recently started dating a guy who is undergoing treatment for colon cancer. We haven’t discussed sex other then the fact that due to the treatment he has told me he is not able to. I am wandering whether after the treatment will he be able to resume a normal sex life and how do I go about bringing up the subject or do I just wait till he brings it up?
I have an aunt who has stage 4 colon cancer and started out w/ 7500 markers? then after the original tumor was removed (metastases in liver and lungs) it was 2500; now after 4 mos of a chemo treatment she has 4500 and has to start a new chemo. What does this all mean? What is a high protein marker count and what is low? And what are they?
If anyone here has had or known someone that has had colon cancer, please tell me:
1. What type of symptoms did you have that lead to your diagnosis, and how long did you have them?
2. How long did you have the symptoms before you sought treament?
3. How are you doing after cancer treatment?
