have used various of Colon cleaners for three years, and added more then the daily amount on the bottle. It has been a year since I had them but, I feel addicted since the years of use, and after….
I have stomach problems, my chest tightens, Blood in stools, etc. I even heard it causes cancer in the stomach, and etc. Is this true… If so, what other affects?

Could I have started to kill myself without even knowing?

I have been in the Hospital last summer dehydrated

I have been in the Hospital last summer dehydrated.

For the past three days, I’ve had a very intense amount of blood in my stool. It’s almost diarrhea-like, but still holding some shape, and it looks like there’s more blood than stool. Also, my stool has never been soft like this. There is no pain when I go to the bathroom, just a very large amount of blood. I’m a 14 year-old female, and no, I’m not on my period. I think I’m too young for rectal cancer, but could this be a warning sign? And if not, what could it be?

The right side of my stomach area hurts, like where my liver and ascending colon are, but it’s not like intense pain, it just feels sore. I feel like throwing up right now…and it doesnt help that im emotional now too because i miss my boyfriend who never makes time for me anymore…im tired of suffering emotionally, mentally and physically. What do i do? Nothing ever makes it better. All i do these days is hope to God that i have cancer because i just cant take anymore of this life…
this is a reason i put this in religion and spiritually, which is that a doctor can never heal what you feel inside. Deep inside. I went to a counsellor and all they do is tell you what they think you should to take away stress from your life and tell u to take anti-depressants. And no matter how much you speak, they dont hear a word you say. Why should you even speak? And no matter how much i cry and beg God, nothing ever changes…so i just want to know what i can do then?

Do I have any other options other than chemotherapy? It hasn’t been confirmed that the primary cancer is in the small intestine – it has been assumed.

I’ve been having symptoms of colon or anal cancer for several months now, but will not have insurance coverage until jan or feb!! I’ve been avoiding going to the emergency room or some clinic because I’m scared that if it is discovered before insurance, it will be considered a pre-existing condition and they will not cover treatment related to the cancer. Not sure what to do or if that is even the case. Any advice? Thanks, I’m praying that it is nothing serious.
p.s. in an attempt to avoid any hurtful jokes, I have NEVER had anal sex.
On many occasions the toilet bowl has been completely red after a movement.
Pain after movements for several hours.
Pain during movements (even it is soft).
The blood is bright red.

I had a bloody stool recently – it was not covered in blood and it was hard to get out if you know what I mean… but this is the first time I’ve ever had maroon streaks on one of my stools. Would a true bloody stool have a lot of blood, like would it be noticeably red and blood filled? Or could it just have streaks? I’ve been having stomach/chest pains lately and I think they’re related to GERD or a hiatal hernia. I also have been taking pepcid for the past two days. I’m 21 (just turned) in good shape… how likely is it that I would have colorectal cancer?

please help me. ill give you a list of my symptoms, and you tell me what you think. people with irritable bowels syndrome, people who have had or still have colorectal cancer, or any one who has had any similar symptoms……please help.

Symptoms:

1. on many many occasions, i have had flat stools. it comes and it goes…more often it comes.
2. very rarely, i get some mucus when i wipe.
i get a feeling of incomplete evacuations after having a bowel movement. the feeling of still wanting to go remains for some time after the bowel movement. it subsides with time.
3. i tend to go to the bathroom several times per day.
stool is generally formed (solid), but at times it is lose (not quite diarrhea).
4. a feeling of something in the last part of the large intestine…..rectum. like a presence.
5. sudden rectal pain, and discomfort. the pain is not really intense, but it is discomforting.
6. burning sensation in rectum.
7. constipation. i feel the urge to have a bowel movement, but it is hard to pass any stool.
8. some what more gassy that normal.

most of these symptoms are present at one time. other times, i have one or two of them. also, there has been times, just recently, where i get almost all of them at once.

my biggest fear is colorectal cancer.
my questions to those that have had colorectal cancer and survived, and to those who presently have colorectal cancer are:
1. what were/are your symptoms, and do they match mine?
2. when did you first notice any kind of symptoms, and what were they?
3. how did you manage your life during and after?
4. how were you treated?
did you get a colostomy bag, and how did you deal with it?
5. how is your life now?

im getting a barium enema x-ray on friday. by the way, im a 25 year old hispanic male. am i too young?

give me as much info as you can. i want to be well informed.

White bleached flour has virtually no nutrients, but is used as the main ingredient in most baked products. Why do we have to bleach flour when the bleaching process depletes flour of most of its nutrients? Why don’t we use whole wheat flour in all of our breads, cookies and baked goods? I find that even in fancy, expensive restaurants, white bleached flour is commonly used instead of the much healthier organic, whole wheat flour. Is there something political about eating white flour? White flour has little fiber and vitamins and surely contributes to 2 of the biggest killers, cancer and heart disease, in this country. I also noticed that medical doctors, including my own, don’t tell their patients to avoid white bleached flour. I know someone with a colon condition which was in part due to the lack of fiber in his diet whose doctor didn’t tell him to avoid white flour baked goods. I find this strange because this caveat is well known among nutritionists and Eastern medicine doctors.

For the past three months ive been having rectal bleeding but not so bad..

My dad has been seeing his regular doc for past year for persistant diahreah; doc never even did rectal exam; sent to my doc FINALLY who did rectal exam, ordered stool + bloodwork on 1st visit!!! Recently dad diagnosed w/Stage 4 rectal cancer! I am super curious if anyone can give even a rough ESTIMATE of how long it would take for the tumor to grow SO LARGE, into other organs, lymph nodes + low back and colon invasion. Surely his own doc should have ordered at least some tests. dad also presented with radical weight loss also; I am super concerned that by time we get to his oncologist on 09/18 little can be done; stint put in; doc said barely able to put in as tumor had opening size of a pinhole!! My dad has little pain but did present to his own doc over a year ago multiple symptoms that point directly to possibility of cancer! How long b4 it moves to other organs, lymphs, bones..just a rough estimate please. AM DEVISTATED TO SAY THE LEAST !! MANY THANKS FOR ANY INFO…..

WARNING — LOTS OF DETAIL — MAY UPSET SOME

Someone I know has advanced colorectal cancer. The tumor perforated his intestines recently. As a result, he’s had a colostemy and is currently being treated with chemo. He has no history of hemmrhoids. Since the perforated intestine/colostemy, he’s had considerable rectal bleeding, apparently of sufficient volume to be compared to the first day or two of a menstrual cycle. The bleeding has not increased/decreased since the chemo began a couple of weeks ago.

His doctor is out of town, the on call physician won’t address the issue, and we’ve not found much online to tell us why this could be. Again, it’s not hemmhroids and since he has the colostemy, shouldn’t be anything related to his intestines. Furthermore, we’ve read that tumors don’t bleed so it shouldn’t be that either. Does anyone have any ideas on possibilities/places to research?

Thank you.

For about a year and a half i have experienced slight discomfort when defecating. At first i thought it was simply piles, however it has never really gone away. Although it has been relatively unnoticeable up until about a month ago when i noticed more discomfort and also blood in the stool, and persistent diarrhea. It seems that colorectal cancer in people my age is extremely rare, and i have no family history of cancer at all, however i am unsure what the problem is. I plan to see my doctor in the near future, but i would like to know if anyone has any idea what the problem may be, and if i should be worried that it may be colorectal cancer? Any advice will be much appreciated :)

My dad has metastasis adenocarcinoma on the jejunom on the small intestine. Is this very serious. How can we treat this? Is this cure-able? The polyp found is 5x8x7 mm. Is that big?

He is 67, can he endure the treatment?

Thanks.
He is said to be in stage four.. the doc said the part of the jejunum where they took during surgery was just a spread, like theres a mother cancer which is in his stomach.. it sux.

Is it possible for 15 year old boy to have colorectal cancer knowing that he has no family history of colorectal cancer but used to eat plenty of junk foods? Thanks

Is there a difference other than the time frame involved? This is what I mean, when someone needs to get their colon checked for cancer or polyps or whatever at the doctor’s office, they have to drink this nasty liquid stuff the day before that totally cleans your system out.

Then there is the stuff you can buy over the counter or online. Something like this is what I am referring to….

http://www.drnatura.com/colonix_program.php

Why does one take so much longer than the other… is one more effective?

What other factors should someone who is thinking about doing this take into consideration? I have heard of hydro cleansing but that is not an option due to the high cost. So that is why I am not inquiring about that now.

Anyone have any first hand experience with either one of these, even both would be better. Thanks a lot everyone.

working mom with disabled husband has been stricken with pancreatic cancer that has spread to colon. she has no sick days from work – husband gets ssi and is not able to work. she has no health benefits from her job but is receiving Cobra – which is not enough for her chemo and radiation. please if someone knows of a means of help, please answer.

okay i ave had stomach pains for like the 2 days after getting better from constipation and alittle diarrhea and i have dark but not black stools and stomach pains but not terrible ones.
do i have colorectal cancer? im 11

Hello, I’ve had rectal bleeding now for about 9 months to a year. Sometimes black and sometimes red. I was really nervous about it so I went for a colanoscopy and endoscopy. The pictures I recieved from the doc show inflamation in the large intestine and heavy inflamation going in the small intestine (ellium) I thought it was crohns for sure but they tested 2 biopsy results came back negative for anything including colitis, cancer, crohns. The endoscopy showed extreame inflamation entering the duodenum from the stomach kind of resembling serious gastritis but no ulcer. I’m not settled at all. I test my stool with hemocult strips and know there is blood every so often. Mostly black which may be the gastritis but what can explain the kinda bright red? No hemmeroids!!! Well I dont know. It’s just kina weird concidering I havnt ate anything red in over 3 days and have frequent diarreah. Also had a ct scan which showed nothing abnormal. I’ve lost 40 lbs in 2 months and doubt its from straight stress. Nobody knows they’re body better than themselves and I know I’m not right.

they removed 85% of the cancer. I really need other options other than chemo

And of what illness is the thinning (going from 70 mm or so to 20 mm) a symptom?
Could it be cancer?

My Grandma had a large cancer removed from her ascending colon about a year ago. Several lymph nodes contained cancer also. She had no evidence that it had spread anywhere else – liver , lungs and bones were scanned before the surgery. The oncologist felt that she was too medically fragile to get chemotherapy because she had 2 strokes right after the surgery. Now the cancer has come back in her abdomen. It is in her liver, but also spread all around the abdomen and is producing a lot of fluid. Is there any hope that she can be cured? If not, how long does she have to live? She is 91.

I did some research and i read that newfoundland has this highest rate of colorectal cancer in north america. Medical websites say it is from mutated DNA genes that are hereditary. Is this the medical way of saying they are humping their brothers and sisters?
ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

My husband has been checked for Gull Bladder disease, diverticuliits and it isn’t cancer. We have been through CT scans, ultrasounds and stool sample testing. What could it be? I am worried sick, and of course he can’t get into the GI specialist until December.
He is only 32 and otherwise healthy.
