Well my 32 year old brother-in-law just got diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer ; / and I’m just completely depressed… My sister just married him about four years ago and they have a one year old daughter and a 2 year old son. They just took out a 600k loan to buy a commercial property so financially they are in a difficult situation as well. It just breaks my heart knowing that there’s such a high chance they will never see their father when they are older and that my bro-in-law mightn’t see his children grow up…… Also, if anyone has tried effective alternative treatments besides just the conventional methods please inform me if you can and your recovery stories would be nice as well. Thanks guys.

My mother-inlaw shocked me today.

I mentiond that the first poo of my son (2 months from now) would be tar like, and she said that I shouldn’t worry, she’ll give him castor oil to clean his intestines out, and that it will give him a strong immune system. (She said she did this for my wife and her brother whn they were born.)

My mother-inlaw is Philipino, and won’t even listen to the doctors about here diabetes, let alone anything SHE thinks is good.

Is it even safe to give castor oil when there is no need? Let alone so early!

How can i convince her to not even try it! I have to discuss this with my wife, she was asleep when i was told this, but it seems like one of the the most stupid thing to do to an infant.

Any advice on how to deal with this would be appreciated. Tyvm.

PS:

We live with my inlaws at the moment.

Me and my brother were shooting .22 rifles and my dog ran behind the targets and got shot through the ass. It went clean through the side of her butt, it stopped bleeding and she is acting fine, she is even running around, and jumped into the back of my truck fine. We put neosporin on the entrance and exit wound. The vet’s office i closed on the weekend, so how do i tell if i didn’t hit her intestines or colon?

My brother is experiencing a dull discomfort down where his colon would be. He does not have health insurance and reluctant to go to a Dr. to have it checked out. If he did go, what should he expect in the way of cost and having this checked out? Also if it were cancer, are there options for treatment even without ins. and money to pay? Or, will he need to suck it up and wait it out until he dies? What would happen if nothing were done? Would a radical diet change help?

I just wanted to know if it works. I am afraid to take "weight loss" pills due to the fact it can really mess you up. My brother has all kinds of stomach problems thanks to hydroxy cut. Plus I take medication for anxiety and I dont want to accidentally mix it with something and get sick. Please no smart A S S remarks from you internet tough guys.

my brother have had a stroke a month ago he missed his voice ,but he is okay now (he has two mechanical valves high blood pressure Af and taking anticoagulants )Last ten days he had bleeding because of polyp in colon so, he had a surgery and they remove it now he is recovering, but sometimes he experiences shortness of breath so, what is the cause and is it risky and can it be cured . Thank you for helping me understand and God bless everybody.

Can you give me some foods that help fight it and some foods we should avoid. Thanks.
Well my brother-in-law is currently battling stage 4 colon cancer and is on chemotherapy. He has loss of appetite, dry mouth, nausau, and vomiting.

My brother-in-law has just been diagnosed with colon cancer. Apparently it's already spread to his liver and lungs. He also has some cysts formed on his kidneys and pancreas. They've told him it's terminal and he has about 3 years to live. The man is only 41! He has 4 young girls, the youngest being 3. He hasn't started any treatment yet, but they're going to do a colonscopy, and will remove the colon, then he'll start chemo. My question: Is there anything out there that could possibly fix the damage done? Any sort of herbal remedies he could try before the doctors start their treatment? What about life insurance? Does anyone know of a company that will cover him? Has anyone recovered from this illness personally? If so, how? We refuse to let him die without first trying every available resource possible. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
