For the last year, I have like 3-4 bowel movements per day, but they all seem unfinished, like I still feel like I have more in me, but it doesn’t come out, until I get the urge a few hours later. Yesterday I took a bunch of colon cleanse, and so far I am having a bowel movement every 5 or 6 hours, but not dhiarrea, and it still feels unfinished. I thought with colon cleansers you just have one big dhiarrea movement, but that’s not the case with me. If my system is clogged, what do I do to fix it? Do enemas work? Thank you for your time.

came on VERY suddenly. was in a public restroom for over 1/2 hr b4 i could stand to make the 3 min. trip home. hurt so much i immediately felt the need to vomit (but didn’t) – and i’m pretty tough w/pain. never felt anything so bad in my life. took an infant sepository (all i had on hand) and laid down. was able to rest and sleep for over an hour. upon rising, sm. bowel movement. felt better until now. intense pain in stomach and rectal area. hurts to push. hurts to sit. hurts to stand up straight.

i don’t have health insurance and can’t afford to go to the doc’s – especially if I can treat at home. should i be concerned? how can i treat?
i’m 28 and healthy. only meds are Phetek to control seizures (which i’ve been on for over 5 yrs). am still passing a sm bit of gas and had that one sm ("pieces") bm this afternoon. have not vomited, only felt like it b/c of the pain.

During my last bowel movement, as I began to pass a stool, I suddenly had extremely severe rectal pain, and I fainted. The pain is difficult to describe; the best I can say is that it’s sort of a cramp-like pain.
I wasn’t straining at all, and I am certain that the act of pushing had nothing to do with the fainting. The stool wasn’t particularly large, and I haven’t been having any problems with constipation or anything like that.

I get a mild form of this pain semi-regularly, but this is the second time it’s been so severe that I fainted. The first time was about 3 years ago.

Does anyone know what would cause this? Thanks.

Im sorry to keep being so worried probably about simple things but something really concerned me today. Ive had constipation problems (due to an unhealthy diet) since i was 2. I dont think ive ever had a regular bowel movement. Anyway i was constipated for 3 weeks and after getting it out just changed my diet to more fiber fruits and vegitables. For a couple days now my BMs have been mushy because of the diet change, but today i had a BM like usual soft and mushy. then i went to have my 2nd one later at usual time but this time it was just small pieces of feces that were soft. Same thing happend when i had my 3rd one. What could this mean? Im i getting constipated again?

I know a little bit about colon cleansing and the facts on colon cleansing and what it does to improve your health, but has anyone ever done a colon cleanse and if so, what is best product and most affordable one out there that works? I am just curious to if a clogged colon is responsible for all sorts of problems like foggy memory, lack of energy, irregular bowels and not having a bowel movement everyday, lack of concentration, mood swings, as well as a pop belly when you aren’t exactly that much overweight. Those symptoms represent me and I was wondering if doing a colon cleanse regimen would make me feel like a whole new person and give me energy and strength to go work out in a gym and build up my muscles. Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I have been on Suboxone for about 4 months at 8mg. I have been extremely constipated the whole time. When I say constipated, I mean I have a bowel movement every couple weeks. And the only way I have a bowel movement is by taking a laxative and when I take the laxative I take 3 times the dosage. And then I still only have a very small movement. I have gained 10lbs and my eating habilts haven’t changed. So I know the only reason for the weight gain is because I don’t have any movements. I don’t know where all the food I eat is going, but I am very scared. I went to my gastro guy and he gave me a new constipation med and that didn’t even work. I also have taken phospho soda, which is something you take before a colonoscopy to clean out your colon. And that didn’t work. I have sent away for that Dual Action Cleanse you see on TV and I asked my gastro guy about it and he said I could take it if I wanted to. So if anyone knows what I could do about this please let me know.

im a 25yr old female, i had a laparoscopy appendectomy two years ago this month.. last week i was sick with some stomach flu type thing.. now i think i have a small bowel obstruction,

im having the on/off cramps, feel gassy, constipated, i had a bowel movement last night- im nauseas and basically have the SBO symptoms.

from what i understand there isnt much a hospital can do besides a NG tube in my stomach and some pain meds, does anyone have any good home remedies for this? …thanks!

Also the go lightly we drank has me swollen, it was salty and you drink a gallon of it. It’s been 5 days since the colonoscopy and still no bowel movement. Help!

My 3 year old has been having bright red blood whenever he has a bowel movement. He also complains of abdominal pain only just before and during a bowel movement. He goes everyday and the stools are not hard or dry like he’s constipated. There’s also no sign of any injury, etc. to his rectal area. I’ve scheduled him a doctor’s appt., but just wondering if anyone else’s child has experienced this and what their diagnosis was. Thanks for the input!

I didn’t know how else to put it for the heading. For a long time, I’ve been having anal itching and when I wipe the anal area too rough it bleeds. I’ve tried over the counter medicines and it helps but only for a little while. I use baby wipes to cleanse that area until I take a shower. Whenever I have a bowel movement, it itches really bad and I can’t help but to wipe that area hard to keep it from itching. I don’t need nobody to be teasing me about my problem. I just need advice as to what I can use or what it could be. Thanks.

Well I am 22 years old and have been having rectal bleeding since the age of 15. Over the years it has gradually gotten worse. I have seen 2 doctors and one said an anal fissure the other hemroids. I have followed there threatment regimens and nothing helps! I am terrified to have a bowel movement because it brings unbareable pain to the point I feel I could passout at times. The bleeding has gotten heavier and heavier, the water in the toilet will be dark red and have no visibility to it (if that makes sense its hard to put into words), when i wipe at times there will be clumps of bright red blood and I will continue to bleed for 10 minutes or so following bowel movements. I guess what I am wanting to know is if I should be concerned, could this be serious, and what it could possibly be other than hemroids or a fissure? If it is hemroids or a fissure then why wont it go away? HELP!!!!

I am 17 years old, I have been having digestive problem over the past year. I don’t have a bowel movement after 1 pm, and the size of my stool decrease in size after a bowel movement. No pain, No inflammation. Its very difficult for me to have a bowel movement after the morning. Before all this, i had a bowel movement after eating. My digestive system was great , but not now. I consume a lot of fiber all the days. About 25-30 grams of fiber with some organic food in the day. I want to cleanse my colon for then my digestive system can return to normal function. I went to my doctor and she told me that i was ok, my digestive system is not good. But this is not the case. I tried Activia, it didn’t work for me, but i just liked the taste. I do try i can do a flush out with fruits and vegetable because i’ll lose weigh easily because i play soccer. I’m 5,7 about 130-135 pounds. I have been thinking of a natural colon cleanse supplement. But i don’t know with one. Does anybody know of a good colon cleanse? Is it a laxative? Or is there anyway to cleanse my colon? Not a week diet because i tried it and it didn’t try, it only made my weigh drop dramatically.

Thank you for all your help. God be with you.
i don’t want to lose weigh.

I have already tried laxatives, laxative w/ stool softeners, and Miralax, is there anything natural I could take or maybe a combination of a few things? I feel bloated all the time and when I do have a bowel movement it seems incomplete. I would like to know how to cleanse my colon, but the natural way.

I know you’re not supposed to eat anything, but I’m doing this for the weight loss, not the detox.
Also I do not want to do the tea or salt water flush so I’m going to need some fiber.

I really don’t want to eat on this diet but I don’t want to not be able to have a bowel movement either.
Unless I can take some sort of fiber pill that will take the place of the lax tea? Is that possible, and will it do its job?

This is a little long but PLEASE bear with me.Please help me if you can.I have already sought medical attention and am waiting for results, although in the meanwhile I am suffering immensely.

I am a 20 yr old female.I have been having moderate back pain when I wake up for about a month. It had become more painful within the last week to the point where I need to just take a few moments to come to myself, then as I walked around it would basically go away.About 3-4 days ago I had some pretty serious abdominal pains and nausea.I went to the ER.Blood samples/urine tests all came back normal. The doctor said I might have had a intolerance to something I ate or possibly polycystic ovaries (I have had trouble with my ovaries before with cysts not bursting when they are supposed to,and got bigger. When they did burst it was INCREDIBLY painful.I went the the ER back then not knowing what was wrong. That was about 4 years ago).
The Dr. ordered a ultrasound. It was 2 days away. She sent me home for the night. In between the time I waited the back pain became VERY INTENSE.It felt like someone was punching/kicking me in the back.Stomach cramps were also present.I think the pain was more intense after everytime I tried to eat.The Nausea was also incredibly strong.I had to force myself to vomit 2 times since then.I have had fatigue and MAYBE 1 or 2 slight headaches.I remembered the day before the visit to the ER I had a bowel movement with alot of bright red blood, and blot clots in there.I forgot to mention this to the ER because I thought it was just my hemorrhoids,as I have had this happen before. Before I had the ultrasound done, that day I had another bowel movement (which I was surprised because I hadn’t really eaten anything within those 2 days because of the nausea/pain.It smelled very bad and there was again, alot of blood.I am certain it was from my rectum.I mentioned this to the person who did the ultrasound but have still gotten no word what the result was. Also the ultrasound was done on my ovaries.I suspect I may have some form of an ulcer because ulcers run all in my family (grand dad, dad, mom etc.).My family has also felt kind of sick with stomach pains, they suggest that maybe I have a bit of a virus with a ulcer acting up.PLEASE HELP ME.I am truly suffering this as the back pain never goes away.I finally filled out a prescription that was given to me for nausea today. It helped ALOT.I ate.But after I ate…the strong pain was back, although I admit that the pains have been fluctuating in severity, and not as strong as when the back pains were first REALLY felt.

There is NO chance I am pregnant and also my last period ended around the 3rd or 4th of Apr.If ANYONE has any idea what is going on,PLEASE help.Thank you in advance and God bless you all.

Also,I am taking Tylenol for pain.

Here is the problem. I was talking my best friend last night. I look up to him, he is my strength.

He was feeling really down… Because he said he no longer wants to be the man in the moon.. He said he has done the job for too many years and needs a break.

well now he thinks that a women should take over, and call it in the women in the moon. I dont agree, i like the sound man in moon better….

I am not sure what has him down. I dont know if it was the fact that the sun was so over powering yesterday, that he could not sleep.. He does sleep during the day.

Because he works when it is dark out… I know he is depressed about day light savings time.. This means it gets darker soon and the nights are longer. So he has to work more hours…

He is also feeling constipated and bloated.. I told him to catch a falling star and make a wish, so he could have a good bowel movement and cleanse himself….

will you talk to the man in the moon for me and tell him all will be ok

Back in July I had a few cases of rectal bleeding after a bowel movement. Two were days apart and the other occurred a couple of weeks after the first. I did not experience any pain or anything, just a toilet full of bright red blood with large clots that I only discovered after I started wiping. I have regular constipation so I assumed it was hemorrhoids or something. It was a lot of blood each time, enough to fill the toilet. I went to see a colorectal surgeon in August and she looked up inside but didn’t find anything.

It’s been almost two months since my last experience, but today I discovered another toilet full of blood after an easy bowel movement. I wasn’t constipated or anything and it came out relatively easy with not too much hard pushing, even though I hadn’t had a bowel movement in a while. But there was still enough blood in the toilet that it colored the water red, and it was VERY brightly colored, almost pink, with clots. Afterward, now I am feeling some lower pain in my back. However, there was no pain when I passed the bloody stool. Again, there was a LOT of blood in the toilet.

I am starting to really worry about rectal cancer. Can anyone tell me what it might be? I am going to call that surgeon again and schedule a colonoscopy, but in the meantime I am so worried that I feel like crying. What am I going to do if they can’t get me in right away? I don’t have colon cancer in my family, but I am still really really worried. Can anyone help?

I am 19 year old, deaf (so hate seeing doctor as I cant talk to him without interpretor) and have 2 bowel movement a week which I think bad.

I know the reason and this because I eat all refined stuff and never eat fruit or vegetable and always just white bread.

I eating fruit and vegetable now everyday for two weeks and having bowel movement once per day which is improvement.

But how can I totally detox my digestive system and become healthy so I don’t get bowel cancer?
I also eating Yoghurt so I get bacteria in intestine.

I really want to do this detox diet and i’ve read a lot about it but I still have a few questions.
1. How long do most people do it for?
2. Can I or should I still workout while doing it?
3. Do you only need to take laxatives to have a bowel movement once at night?
4. I was not going to do the ease-in so do I just start one morning by drinking the lemonade mixture?

If you can answer any of these questions for me it would really help. I really want to start this as soon as I can :)

I just completed a colon cleanse with a kit from Blessed Herbs with laxative herbs, psyillium and powdered bentonite. My skin has been cleared and I feel more energetic after the cleanse and now, I’ve also been eating better with high fiber diet and lots of clean water.

I was quite regular prior to the cleanse with 1 bowel movement every day. After the cleanse, I am regular but frequently get 2-3 BMs a day. Problem is, I cannot understand why my stools are now so much thinner, but long. Prior to the cleanse, I had fatter, shorter stools.

Is there a chance that the psyllium/bentonite got stuck in my intestines or some other obstruction? I’ve also done a couple of enemas but my stools remain thin ( around 3/4 inch ) and long. I’m not constipated and I pass stools easily.

Will somebody who has knowledge of what’s going on put my mind at ease? I really don’t know how to deal with it if I got something stuck in my colon.

Erika

I am doing the Master Cleanse or Lemon Cleanse and it recommends taking a laxative as well since you aren’t consuming any fiber, you need to be able to have a bowel movement. I was thinking about just adding Miralax to my first drink in the morning. Would this work?
I just started it today! So we will see how it goes. My husband did it for 5 days about a year ago and it made him feel great. They say to do 10 days but that seems a little excessive to me.
