Hopefully it’s just my Ocd and gad doing this to me.

I have been to a doctor before on this, but he just didn’t pay much attention to this fear.

Ok first I’ll tell you my problem then my background issues with this…

So my husband and I haven’t had sex for 3 months until two nights ago. We had sex the first night, and everything went great. Not too much discomfort. The second night we had sex, went good at first, but started getting some pain during. After it was over, I had pain in my rectum and my abdomen was tender. I figured that maybe we just did it too rough and I was sore. Now it’s the day after, and I’m still hurting in my rectum and my abdomen is still sore.

History:
I have had two surgeries due to some type of abdominal pain. First one I was 17. Appendicitis and ovarian torsion. After my son was born [I was almost 20], I started having pain leading to my second surgery. I had adhesions that were pinning my only ovary and my colon up against each other to the wall of my abdomen. I had some others in places where they had removed my other ovary and apendix. They cut them all and said that it would probably happen again, but hopefully not. They also removed my IUD I had after my son. [During the insertion of the IUD my gyno was also burning my cervix because I had HPV. During that deal he burned the string attached to the IUD so they removed it surgically.]

After my surgery I felt great as did I the first surgery. A little pain during sex, but not much. Mostly because it had been so long since my husband and I had relations. [During the time of my pain I wasn't much into the sex...] But I got better and it became normal again. Then we went for 3 months and now this.

I’ve never had rectal pain after sex before.
I’ve also had breast pain lately. [Past week]

I was on birth control but stopped recently. [About 2 weeks ago]

I took a pregnancy test even though we hadn’t had sex recently b/c I wanted to make sure I hadn’t become pregnant and not known it. I wasn’t.

A few months ago [around the time we stopped having sex] I started breaking out and my periods started changing. I assumed it was some kind of hormonal imbalance so I’ve set an appointment with my gyno but they seem to not really think it’s a big deal.

I’ve been really fatigued and having joint pain… don’t think that’s related though but it could be I guess.

I had abdominal pain and went to the ER. They ordered a CT scan and the lady tech inserted an enema tip in my rectum for contrast. She told me "just to relax, and if I get an erection its OK because its just the enema tip massaging the prostate". When she inserted the tip she told me to cough and felt my testicles to make sure there was no hernia. Is this common practice? Has anyone had this performed before?

I noticed some rectal bleeding about 2 weeks ago. It was followed by some mucus in my stools and bowel changes. I then developed abdominal pain on my lower right side. I went to the doctor on Friday and he said I had an anal fissure. I am now noticing bruises on my abdomen on the right side. I had no injury and I did not bump it in any way. Is this just a coinsidence or is there something else going on?

Symptoms Include:
- Abdominal Pain/Discomfort
- Change in Bowl Stuff (constipation/the big D)
- Fatigue
- Weakness
- Blood on Toliet Paper (back end)
- Fever that comes and goes
- Lower back discomfort (I do have scoliosis, but it’s never felt like this)
- Pain in abdomin feels like I’m hungry/full/or very uncomfortable
- Wakes me up at night for no reason
- Restless
- Trouble going to bathroom because it hurts (my rear end)

I have X-Rays on Friday that were clear except for the fact I had some stool backed up in my colon. So, I was put on a laxative to clean it out. I’ve been on it for 2 days, but I still have the pain. Ultra Sound showed nothing either. If this pain isn’t gone by Monday, we’re scheduling the test where I drink barium and they do X-Ray’s. Please tell me what you think this is. I was afraid it was Colon Cancer because my grandfather had it and I know Crohn’s Disease (sometimes) goes with Colon Cancer. Could it be that?

Don’t say "go to the Doc/ER".
No, this has been going on for a month and slowly, but surely, has progressed towards worse.

After sex I always have one normal bowel movement and then about 5 to 10min later I have one that is very irritable and gives abdominal pain. It is usaully runny (for lack of better word). I hate it! IT’s sooooo unattractive! I have talked to my gyno about it but he says to research it before wanting to receive any medicines for it. I did a little research but most women complain about bleeding but I dont bleed. Just…poop!

K, this is getting annoying and i cant find anything that matches my symptoms.
right now my ribs on the left are feeling a constant, relatively sharp pain.

Here’s how it went, Me and a friend we’re talking over skype about emotionally painful topic.
Eventually i began to feel a pain in my left side, followed by dizziness, a tight chest, and nausea.
Standing up made it much worse. Well i woke up the next morning feeling fine, but then a few pains came back but not very bad at all just annoying. This was about three days ago.
I have had an incredibly small fever nothing to even worry about…but ive been sweating and feeling hot. So here’s where im at now, pain in my left ribs, abdominal pain, dizzyness, tight chest, slight slight fever, a tingling body, and now i even am having a bit of rectal bleeding.

as stated before, the pains arent very intense, but are always a bother and can be enough to make me wince at times.

very detailed description, and very confusing for me, im assuming theres nothing to worry about but im having the weirdest symptoms, nothing seems to match.

I’ve been having problems w/abdominal pain for over a year. I’ve had tons of tests done-no doctor can figure out what’s wrong. The main issues are a feeling of fullness, like a rock that’s stuck smack dab in the center of my abdomen, a couple of inches above my belly button. The fullness usually occurs after I eat and often is at its worst several hours after I eat. The feeling of fullness doesn’t go away for HOURS! Sometimes I feel like I don’t even get hungry because I’m still so full from my last meal. Sometimes I have pain, like a gnawing sensation. I also have problems with burping a lot (I never used to!). Sometimes the feeling is directly in between where by ribs meet. But more often it’s right in the middle of my torso, about 2-3 inches above my belly button. Please, if anyone has any idea what this could be, please please give me suggestions! Is this where my pancreas is located? My transverse colon? Pancreatic duct? I have NO idea, but it’s driving me crazy!

For around six years my husband has experienced abdominal pain, bloating, cramping, constant diarrhea(multiple loose Bm’s every day during this time) with bleeding in sometimes large amounts. We have done cultures, blood tests, xrays, full colonoscopy, and biopsies for cancer. Everything has come back normal. He supposedly has no hemorroids, tears, or ulcers to explain the bleeding(which is bright red so it’d be lower?) After so many years we’re out of idea’s. Do you have any? My husband is only 23.
No…he has diarrhea. Not just now and then, but -every- day for six years… I think you may have skipped over some details…not to be mean or anything, but…
We had him tested for Chrohns but then again his doc seemed incompetent…
Thank you so much everyone. I atleast have a few new things to go on. Hopefuly theyll find something before anything serious like surgery. Thank you again all. :D
I’ll definitely try the metamucil. I wont mind him talking about it if it works. Hehe

I’m 21 weeks pregnant and for the past few hours I’ve been having rectal pressure with abdominal pain (cramping). Any ideas of what could be causing this and what I can do to relieve it? Thanks

I already have, and they just did X-Ray’s and assumed that the pain was caused by the constipation.
This has been going on for a month and slowly, but surely, has progressed towards worse.

I was diagnosed with a UTI after complaining of sharp pelvic/abdominal pain. I also described a throbbing/stabbing sort of pain in my rectum that gets worse when sitting and walking. The dr suggested it might just be because of the UTI but I have doubts. I can’t find anything that supports this and it is really killing me! I had some constipation and difficulty going to the bathroom for the past few days but I have gone. It is rather hard, though, but I am not stopped up. Why is it throbbing? Can I get some relief????

I have stomach pain, and pain on the left and sometimes right side of my bellybutton but the pain isnt constant just sometimes all of a sudden it comes and it isnt excruciating. Also I dont have big bowel movements I guess I could be constipated and dont poop for 4 days sometimes but I never have any blood in my stool. I workout so could the abdominal pain be from straining and little muscles being pulled. I have gas, and sometimes bloating. What disease could
I have, a life-threatening one? Or something that is nothing to worry about?
Update. I just had a bowel movement . The stools are narrow. Could that mean colon polyp?

every month i have severe rectal cramping and spasms to the point i can barely make a bowel movement, and now i’m beginning to have abgominal cramping also. my obgyn says adnomyosis is the cause for the abdominal pain but what about the rectal pain?? no bleeding has occured from the stool.

I have:

Bloody Stools
Thin Stools
Diarehha
Constipation
Abdominal pain
Going poop alot
No solid or "regular" stools
I feel like I have to poop all the time, but only a tiny bit comes out or nothing
I’m tired all the time

I have a doctors appointment for this Friday. Personally, I don’t feel these symptoms could be Crohn’s or IBL. What do you guys think?

I am having a colonoscopy this week .My dr. is doing one to find out what is causing my cramping and abdominal pain. I have never had one done before (I’m only 25), but am worried–Will I be fully asleep during this or just out of it? I have read that ask people to move positions during this procedure, and wondered how people could move if they’re awake. Any advice or info is appreciated. Thanks!

In October 08 I had rectal surgery and was given stool softners, in fear of having a regular bowel movement I have continued using them, however in the past 2 week I have been experiencing sever abdominal pain, could using the stool softners be the reason?

I have abdominal pain, extreme fatigue, and very dark stools.I also feel bloated after everything I eat.
