small bowel obstruction?
if I had a small bowel obstruction, or any bowel obstruction for over a month, would I know it? would I be in a lot of pain? what symptoms would I have?

this can become a serious problem. if you had one, trust me you would know, the pain could become intolerable. if you think you have one please consult a doctor or go to a hospital to get it checked out.
