Should I feel bloated after taking a colon cleanse?
I just took Henry’s Internal Cleanser, which I’ve done many times before, and I’ve gotten results. It absorbs everything negative out of your system. It tends to cause some bloating and then you have a bowel movement within two days. But this time I took it and It caused instant, severe bloating, almost as if it was putting pressure against my lungs, and I couldn’t take deep breathes. I gained five pounds within this two day period, and I have not yet gone to the bathroom. If you have any experience with this product, or any other colon cleansers, please let me know what the problem may be.

I’m sorry-this is probably not the answer you wanted to hear but, I think you should go see a doctor if it is possible to see one today. That sounds bad.
I think you have been using the wrong product all along,it sounds like it has been just building up in you.I think you should try a different one.An all natural product. If you click the link below, you will find all that you need to know.
Almost everyday here I post about colon cleansing being dangerous BS. It is alt med quackery at its best.
You colon is already clean. There is no evidence for such toxic accumulation, the toxins are undefined and have no basis in science.
From Wiki:
"No scientific evidence supports the alleged benefits of colon cleansing. The bowel itself is not dirty and barring drugs or disease, cleans itself naturally without need for assistance. Some types of colon cleansing present potential hazards; the equipment used during colon cleansing has caused damage to the rectum in a small number of individuals, and caused amoebiasis when improperly sterilized. Certain enema preparations have been associated with heart attacks and electrolyte imbalances. Frequent colon cleansing may interfere with the proper functioning of the colon and can lead to dependence on laxatives or enemas to defecate."

What ever the cause, you should get yourself to a doctor – a real one. I hope all is ok.
For me, it was during the summer and my stomach was very bloated for days. I knew i was going to be spending a lot of time in a bathing suit and didn’t want to have a huge stomach or have someone ask me if I was pregnant. I’m not “regular” when it comes to going to the bathroom so I figured a colon cleanse would be a good place to start. If I lost weight along the way, that’s just an added bonus.
I started taking the Dr. Max Powers 15 Day Cleanse. The bottle says to drink 8oz of water with the pills but I always tried to drink more. I also made sure i didn’t take them on an empty stomach. That being said, my experience so far has not been that bad.
The first 2 days I went to the bathroom at least 1x a day. On the 3rd day, it was the toughest. My stomach was cramping a lot and I was very gassy. I didn’t stop taking the pills because I figured they were working. After all, i want to remove stuff from my body.
I don’t know if what I did was right, but I followed the directions on the bottle, stuck with my same diet which isn’t so healthy and didn’t exercise.
My stomach isn’t bloated anymore (knock on wood) and I see a difference in my thighs as well (which was a pleasant surprise). It feels a lot better than a laxitive because there are no sudden runs to the bathroom. It appears to be safe and natural. I am drinking more water than I use to and honestly have more energy.
HOpe my review helps you decide whether or not youre going to try this product. Once again, as I mentioned, I”m sure everyone’s experience will be different and it’s important to listen to the reviews that relate to your experience. Good luck.
Probably a bit late of notice but I would like to clarify that the Henry’s Internal Cleanser is made of pure organic natural products. There are no laxatives, chemicals, preservatives etc. at all- My guess is she took the henrys with not enough water, it clumped in her throat or esophagus and caused pain. Probably just a competitor of the Henry’s Internal Cleanser trying to scare people off. Read the label and do the research on Henry’s Internal Cleanser- there are no dependency issues and its safe to take long term with no side effects.
Cheers to health and TRUTH people
