Should I do a 7-day detox pill plan, or should I take a colon cleanse pill everyday?
I’m looking into doing detox, but I’m not sure which is more effective, the 7-day detox pills or the daily colon cleanse pill. If I do the 7-day detox pills, how often should I do it, twice a month, once a month? If I do the colon cleanser pill, is it safe to take it everyday, every other day, once a week?

Detox is *not* necessary. Really. Medically speaking there is no evidence that human beings need to exogenously ‘detox’ the colon , liver, etcetera. These detox’s are designed to make money. I am not here to burst your bubble, but really, they are NOT necessary.
The human body is more than capable of cleaning itself and does so constantly. Detoxing more likely to ‘disrupt’ this natural process than aid it.
Given the above ‘truth’ — I recommend you use the shortest, least invasive … non stimulant detox available in your options.
Further, don’t use it more than once. If you feel you need to ‘detox’ yourself with some regularity — Do it once a year, really — Doing this sort of thing once a month or more is not healthy for the body.
You will see a mass of ‘stuff’ come out during a colon detox,.. but this is not stored "excess" fecal matter that otherwise would not have come out. There is nothing pills or powders/drinks etc can do or ‘get to’ that your body wouldn’t already expel. Think about it. Further, do some scientific research for medical studies proving any of it is beneficial.
Again, I have to recommend the shortest course available, and simply follow the directions on the packaging.
The Natrol Acaii Berry Weekend Cleanse is something I would recommend to someone who is adamant on ‘detoxing’. This is designed to be effective, designed for the ‘weekend’ because detoxes require you to be on the toilet more than normal, thus it won’t interfere with your work week. Further it is relatively short, I believe handles both the bowels/colon and liver — as well as replenishing some pro-biotics (IE: Your healthy intestinal fauna/bacteria) and so forth.
Good luck,
this does nothing useful. your body naturally detoxes itself if you drink plenty of water, and eat a healthy diet. two of my surgeons, and my fitness center owner tell clients never to do any detox/colon cleanse stuff. it,s very rough on the digestive tract.
