Sever Rectal pain!! Non cramp and no bowel issues?
So what can cause sever pain in the rectal region without having any bowel issues or cramps. I have had cramps, constipation, and I know what the urge to go feels like. This was something different. It has happened twice in the past two weeks. Both times the pain lasted a half an hour and both times was in the morning. I woke up from the pain. Also, it has happened in the past but during the middle of the night. I just woke up in horrible uncomfortable pain. AND NO I"M NOT GAY!! SAVE YOUR IDIOTIC COMMENTS FOR SOMEONE ELSE!!!
By the way I eat fairly healthy and use the bathroom regularly with little issues.

Casey,
Sounds like symptoms I’ve had in the past. I was diagnosed with Levator Ani Syndrome and have gotten satisfactory relief through trigger point therapy from a physical therapist who specializes in pelvic floor disorders. I’d see a colo-rectal specialist for a diagnosis and if it is LAS, you will need a referral to see the physical therapist. The other possibility is Proctolagia Fugax for which the treatment unfortunately is "learn to live with it". Research both on the net and see if either matches your symptoms. Good luck!
