Rectal pain, something protruding that is very painful to the touch, occasional bleeding. What could help this?
I thought it’s probably hemorroids, but I bought some Preparation-H the kind with the suppositories and cream, but it didn’t help at all. There’s also foul smelling discharge seeping from the area. It will go away for a couple of days but then just comes right back. It’s so painful and uncomfortable. This started about 2 years ago, wasn’t so bad at first, there was no bleeding at first, but now recently, there’s been quite a bit of blood when I do bleed. I’ve already made an appointment to see a specialist at a colon and rectal clinic, but soonest day they have is almost a month away. What can I do in the meantime to help alleviate these symptoms? I haven’t gone out at all since I started having the rectal bleeding and foul smelling discharge because it’s too embarrasing and uncomfortable. Thankfully I have a job where I work from home, but even that’s getting very very difficult to do because I work on the computer and am sitting for hours a day. Can anyone please recommend anything that may help in the meantime?

Could be an infection.
It’s also a common problem when you have constipation.
I suggest using wet wipes to wipe that area down after you use the bath room.
Try to keep the area clean and dry.
you can use ice packs down there, lessen the time you spend sitting, use hydrocortisone cream down there. Drink two liters of water daily to keep your stools soft, and eat plenty of high fiber foods.
In the meantime, 1) purchase a donut cushion and 2) a sitz bath basin from your local pharmacy/medical supply house. The cushion will make you more at ease while you sit. The sitz bath basin will fit over your toilet bowl when the seat is in the up position. Fill it with warm/hot water and sit in it for 10 – 15 minutes three times a day. This is known as a sitz bath.
Or, you can sit in a regular tub, too. Just more hassle taking all your clothes off.
Sounds like you have some form of Cancer, get your butt- and the rest of you to your doctor ASAP!!!!! Even a ER is better than waiting to see one if you have to do that. Until then if you want, smoke some herb or some other thing that kills the pain.
