Pain after two nights of intercourse…?
Ok first I’ll tell you my problem then my background issues with this…
So my husband and I haven’t had sex for 3 months until two nights ago. We had sex the first night, and everything went great. Not too much discomfort. The second night we had sex, went good at first, but started getting some pain during. After it was over, I had pain in my rectum and my abdomen was tender. I figured that maybe we just did it too rough and I was sore. Now it’s the day after, and I’m still hurting in my rectum and my abdomen is still sore.
History:
I have had two surgeries due to some type of abdominal pain. First one I was 17. Appendicitis and ovarian torsion. After my son was born [I was almost 20], I started having pain leading to my second surgery. I had adhesions that were pinning my only ovary and my colon up against each other to the wall of my abdomen. I had some others in places where they had removed my other ovary and apendix. They cut them all and said that it would probably happen again, but hopefully not. They also removed my IUD I had after my son. [During the insertion of the IUD my gyno was also burning my cervix because I had HPV. During that deal he burned the string attached to the IUD so they removed it surgically.]
After my surgery I felt great as did I the first surgery. A little pain during sex, but not much. Mostly because it had been so long since my husband and I had relations. [During the time of my pain I wasn't much into the sex...] But I got better and it became normal again. Then we went for 3 months and now this.
I’ve never had rectal pain after sex before.
I’ve also had breast pain lately. [Past week]
I was on birth control but stopped recently. [About 2 weeks ago]
I took a pregnancy test even though we hadn’t had sex recently b/c I wanted to make sure I hadn’t become pregnant and not known it. I wasn’t.
A few months ago [around the time we stopped having sex] I started breaking out and my periods started changing. I assumed it was some kind of hormonal imbalance so I’ve set an appointment with my gyno but they seem to not really think it’s a big deal.
I’ve been really fatigued and having joint pain… don’t think that’s related though but it could be I guess.

If you really went at it perhaps. If it continues, I would want to be sure I didn’t have an underlying infection..could be bacterial vaginosis, which some women get after a major sex session. The normal flora balance gets out of whack sometimes. If you still have it on day 4, go see your gynocologist.
