Now prepping for a colonoscopy, am I supposed to keep drinking liquids until I am full?
Just out of curiosity, am I supposed to be drinking clear liquids until I am full so I don’t get hungry the day before a colonoscopy?

NO !
Do exactly as the doctor told you to do.
Nothing by mouth after a certain time.
The reason is you don’t want to puke while you are asleep.
You could drown in it.
Being a little hungry is ok.
They tell you to drink clear liquids so your body does not form stool and to help you so you won’t be hungry. Instead of eating food, you just have clear liquids for your meals. It also helps keep nutrients in your system.
Just try to have more of water nothing else if you feel hungry. Yes you can have some soda also if you feel damn hungry with some light food.
Prior to going through a surgery, a patient will be advised to fast. Colonoscopy isn’t a major medical procedure however fasting is still advised. I was set to undergo colonoscopy on a Saturday at 7:30 in the morning. I was advised to not eat starting 2pm Friday (day before colonoscopy). The doctor prescribed a medicine which I should take in case bleeding persists. His other prescription was a solution, which he required me to drink It was called Fleet-Phospho-soda. I should mix it with either a glass of water or with a bottle of soda. The first solution should be drank at 2pm and the other one at around 8pm. I should be able to drink the solution until the last drop. I should only eat crackers or drink water, nothing else. By 12 midnight until I undergo the actual procedure, I must not eat nor drink anything. The solution will do a total clean up of my intestines. So that when the doctors will check the linings of my intestines, they can see everything clearly.
