my friend was diagnosed with brain cancer and colon cancer in 2007, no obvious symptoms despite no treatment.?
Is he lying? He only comes up with a symptom when he is in a bind somehow and doesn’t go to the doctor at all. He claimed to be in a car accident about a month ago because he went blind while driving, yet no one knows for sure because he went to the hospital alone and no one has seen reports of this accident or hospital stay. How can I be sure?

I’m sorry. What is a brain cancer and colon cancer patient supposed to look like and act like?
I have brain cancer. You wouldn’t know it by looking at me though. I’m 48 and I am on Watch & Wait (W&W). That means that we are waiting for the symptoms to get bad enough again that the benefits of surgery will outweigh the risks. Right now, that’s not good.
I’ve already had 1 18 hour surgery, 2 follow-up sinus surgeries and traditional radiation treatment that I maxed out on. Can’t ever have any treatment that is associated with radiation. And yet I look the picture of health. I typically go to the doctor once per season to get a renewal of antibiotics to help me combat the various infections that may come my way (usually ear infections). I also go once a season to the ENT doctor to check my ears and sinuses. I also go to the neurologist once a year to have a new MRI and CT Scan done where it is then sent off to my neurosurgeon at the Cleveland (Ohio) Clinic. All this is done in Philadelphia, PA.
Before you judge someone, please try to remember that as with most cancers, brain cancer can be benign malignant, as is mine. It means that the tumors themselves are considered benign but due to the many, inoperable locations they are in, it is considered malignant. Many people that are in Stage 1 usually are considered Watch & Wait. Doctors just don’t automatically order surgery and unneeded exams and treatments if it won’t yield a promising result. Oftentimes, you may be putting the patient at a high risk level that would be better served until waiting when the tumors are larger and easier to spot. Better chance of removing it too.
So unless your friend has a habit of being a liar, please, please, please, don’t stereotype him according to what you think someone with brain cancer should look and act like.
He sounds like a pathological liar, that’s his illness. If he had colon cancer that metastasized to the brain and the lungs and spine on the way up he would most likely be dead after 2 years.He should be wafer thin, look like a ghost, have thin to no hair from all the chemo, and be in bed most of his free time if he really is that sick.He would need to be going to the hospital for blood tests weekly maybe more often. He would be on a restricted diet. You get the picture? Get yourself studied up on this illness then pin him down and make him squirm.
I think he’s FOS too. Anyone that has colon cancer with brain cancer is going to start to deteriorate after no treatment.
Sounds like BS to me. Bet it smells like BS also.
