My Friend suffers Back Pain…Just above her Tail region 1 to 2 inches above, in the middle?
She complained about this pain 1 month ago, telling me she had pain suddenly while she wus walking, she thout its just a pain so will get okay, she ignored if for one month long, now it has gone so bad, she cant sit when the pain is worst, for the pain the doc got the xray done, but it was clear, she has worst pain in her lower back middle just above her tail region. Sometimes its very much sometimes its not tat bad, she has been given Nise, aciloc, rantac and such medications because she complained about Pain in her Transverse colon also, in front, probably due to gas, but at present day, the medicines are not effective, when she was in her 8th grade , presently in college, she tells tat she had fallen on her back from her House Roof and didnt tell anyone about the injury. some of the doc said its the same injury that has come out again.
m very much worried about her health, kindly help what could be the reason of her pain not getting okay.
will she ever get okay?
Thankyou! =(

if the pain is at the sacrum as you describe she needs to see a gynocologist. pain can be referred from pelvic region.
back injuries tend to stick with a person for life. however, there are things your friend can do. for an immediate relief, she could try lying on the floor on her back, with her back flat to the floor and her feet up on the wall. that will give the nerves and muscles time and opportunity to relax. heat could help it, too, so hot baths, a heating pad, and hot showers can help. if she knows someone who can give good massages, now’s the time to get one. after she gets out of the tub, while she’s really warm, have her bend over from the waist — just flop over with her arms hanging down, and then straighten up slowly, bone by bone. i’m thinking that she’s got a nerve pinched somewhere, and that the muscles around it are spasming. that bend over/straighten up thing will give her a chance to stretch out all those nerves and muscles and maybe un-kink the one that’s being troublesome.
some people swear by chiropractors, who specialize in sort of jiggling and twisting your bones back into alignment. i like them, but some insurance doesn’t cover them.
she needs to make sure that she tells her primary doctor about the previous injury. that wouldn’t necessarily show up as a bone injury. soft tissue injuries — tendons, nerves, and muscles — can all last for quite a while and be re-injured relatively easily.
the good news is that she can take preventative measures on her own. anything that strengthens her back and waist muscles would be good. i have a back injury, and when i lived in LA & roller-skated the length of Venice Beach a couple of times a week, i had the least back problems (and great legs.) i wouldn’t send your friend off for weight training, but for yoga, pilates, tai chi, or even ballet. all of them work on strenghtening and lengthening the muscles, making them more strong while increasing the range of movement.
good luck
