Is there always rectal bleeding in colorectal cancer?
How prevalent is rectal bleeding in colorectal cancer, do tumors always bleed? Would two Fecal occult bleeding test administered two months apart catch bleeding that was from a tumor?

Not always but very commonly. The problem is that the bleeding is often intermittant and small. It is reassuring that is 2 occult bloods are negative and ther are NO other symptoms that colorectal cancer is not likely
They may not always bleed, it depends on location and size how easily the tumors will be irritated and torn.
Colon cancer doesn’t always have reliable symptoms. My mom had colon cancer and didn’t have any symptoms. She had to have 10% of her colon removed from the cancer. If you’re concerned, talk to your doctor ASAP!
