Is it okay to keep pinching it back?
For the past 2 days now I have had the urgency to have a bowel movement, but I have been pinching it back. I was told that it helps cleanse the blood because it strengthens the lower spincter muscles. Is there any truth to this?

Do NOT hold it back. Absolute hogwash about cleansing the blood. Retained stool has been found to be a cause of bowel cancer because it is the body’s wastes sitting in there. They are MEANT to be eliminated.
If you hold it back long enough, you will become impacted and end up in the hospital, or worse, end up with bowel cancer.
Once you have had a bowel movement, THEN you can tighten those muscles if that’s what turns your crank. Much safer than holding it back.
i had this problem… were i had a horible habit.. then my dad told me i could get colon cancer ceptic and all these other things… its horrible for the body…d eadly even… im soryy.. no it doesn’t cleanse the blood. its called waste for a reason

no!……go to the loo, you will get toxic poisoning, if you dont get rid….soon!……….
hmmm, strengthen the spincter muscles????….there is only one reason why u would want them strenghtened…..and its the same reason …that they never will be strenghtened!…………
Interesting, I’ve never heard of this.
huever told u that is not a doctor…seriously!
holding it in for say half hour-one hour is ok, but u shud never hold for more than 3 hours
it can permanantly damage ur colon, not to mention ur sphinctal muscles
meaning u cud end up not being able to hold it in at all
jus get to a khazi an drop a splashback!
lol
seriously
it is SEVERLY unhealthy
after 2 days, im surprised…
ALL LIES btw!
No. it is unhealthy but what you will do is rip your anal sphincter when you do begin a bowel movement. How do you get cleaner blood by exercising muscles?
