Is it normal to use the bathroom after colonoscopy?
I have read on here that it normally takes days for a bowel movement. But I went the morning after my colonoscopy.

Its actually just fine. If you are able to, its good actually.
You may have a abit of mucus in the stool for the next couple of days thanks to the whole ‘cleaning’ you had to go through before hand, but its normal. If you have any pain while going, blood, ect, then contact a doctor. But because you were completely clean, whatever you ate probably went through FAST, so don’t worry.

Everyone has a little different transit time for the food to digest and pass through the colon. What’s normal for one may be abnormal for another. I think the several days comment is so that someone doesn’t panic when they don’t go the next day.
