Irritable bowel?
I have lower back pain and pain in my sides for some time now, at first I was worried it had something to do with my kidneys because I was urinating frequently but thinking about it I am usually quite constipated, I’m unsure if this would affect my lower back and sides etc but I do get sharp pains in both my sides and I find it difficult to pass solid waste. I’ve always had bad digestion and it has shown itself in many different ways and pains.
Help would be appreciated

i had the same problem three years ago, and I ended up in the ER because I could not do number 2. it was the worse pain ever. the doc had to give me an enema, and i was too relieved to be embarassed.
Right now, I suggest drinking LOTS of water, and go to the store and get Dulculax Stool Softener, and take them daily. If you start to drink lots of juices and water, and veges, you shouldn’t have a problem doing number 2.
if nothing improves in about a week or two, then you should see about those pains in your back, because it could be something else altogether.
IBS actually signifies loose stools alternating with constipating stools, and you go alot. This is most likely not what you have, but you should see your doc just to be sure.

Your symptoms have absolutely nothing to do with IBS trust me my father has that and it’s a pain…I;ve studied about it over the years and you can cool down…also I would very much appreciate the answer above. Take care
