If you have Crohn's Disease, how likely are you to have Colon Cancer?

The risk of developing colon cancer increases in cases when Crohn’s is not being treated.

Bottom line, the risk of colon cancer only increases when there’s a chronic inflammation, if there’s no chronic inflammation, the risk should be about the same as an average person without Crohn’s disease.
The likelihood of someone having cancer is not based on a single factor. Having Crohn’s Disease is a risk factor for colon cancer and nothing more. It increases your risk by 1.5 to 2 times.
