I sometimes get a dull or sharp pain in my rectum..is this colon cancer?
I am 32 year old healthy female, vegetarian for 17 years. no history of colon cancer in family. I sometimes get this quick sharp or dull pain in my rectum. I have never had blood in my stool or black stool. i have not lost any weight and have not lost my appetite at all. I have also had normal blood work twice in the last 10 months……can this be rectal or colon cancer?

An occasional sharp pain in the rear is actually quite normal. I don’t know anyone that hasn’t experienced it from time to time.
I had colon cancer & felt no pain at all. It was only a blood test that revealed its presence & unexpected weight loss.
a pain in the rectum is really a very vague symptom. You need to talk to a doc.
