I sometimes feel as though something is crawling around inside my rectal area. What is this? On a daily basis it constantly feel like Im tightening my rectal muscles and I have to consciously try to release the tightening of that muscle and not do it. Then it feels so much better but as soon as stop concentrating on not doing I later realize I have been doing it again. I had colon polyps removed 6 years ago. Ima 29 year old female. I havent had anal bleeding since but I did alot during my pregnancy, mixed with mucous. Sometimes, I feel shooting pain in my anal area. I know I had been diagnosed with diverticulosis or something like that during the time the polyps were removed. But sometimes I can be very still and it feels like something wiggling aroundmy rectum and trying to come out, or trying to go back in. I also have tail bone pain that actually can be seen and felt in my lower back. Im a 29 yr old female. Why and What is going on?

YOU’VE GOT WORMS!!!! GO TO THE VET AND GET SOME PASTE!!!!
sometimes after having polyps removed one develops a chronic itching that can only be relieved thru anal sex
You need a Professional Medical opinion.& Tests..Posible a full Colonoscopy will tell the full story…but you have one thing at your side you are young and with proper medical treatments you can fight any thing …also if you are doing anal sex tell that to the doctor because is a possabillity you caught a sex trasmited decease.
I had this once after colonoscopy – request a prescription for Librax – (a muscle relaxer) or even ventolin (a smooth muscle relaxer) – it will relax the rectal wall ring. Librax worked for me, but unfortunately I am still in continues rectal pain for injury after routine gyn procedures.
