I have rectal bleeding everytime I have a bowel movement?
I must have ate too much or waited too long to go to the bathroom, because I got a rectal fissure.
I’ve had one once or twice before, but this one is much worse. There is a lot of blood with every movement. There is enough blood to tint the toilet water. And there is a considerable amount of thick, mucously blood when I whipe.
The pain doesn’t bother me, just the idea that this won’t heal does. What can I do about this? Would fasting for a few days help?
Im a 25 year old male in excellent health with no other problems… What are some things I could do to speed up the healing process?
[please don't say "go to the doctor", I don't have health insurance]
Ok, it isn’t a hemroid. I can see the cut and other wise its normal. No hemroids.

Inflammation: Inflammatory bowel disease is a common cause of rectal bleeding in young adults—typically those younger than 50 years.
Bleeding occurs in small-to-moderate amounts of bright red blood in the rectum, usually mixed in with stool and mucus. Associated symptoms include fever and crampy, stomach pain.
Admission to the hospital is not required. However, bowel rest and steroid therapy are usually indicated for treatment..
i know you said"dont tell me to see a doctor.. but really you should to rule out any serious infection.
My god, that is such a gross story!
The only thing I can think of now is KY Jelly
You more than likely have a hemorroid. You can but some over the counter medication but if it is not visible on the outside of your anus (sorry to be grtaphic) then you might have to see a doctor. Especially if this has happened to you before.
You might try eating foods that are easily digested for a few days? Give your system a rest and let it heal.
My standard for health issues is that if it doesnt go away in a week, you have to go to the doctor.
Bleeding from your ass might get me to go to the doctor a little sooner though. Probably have a hemmroid.
Okay. Assuming the blood is red that means it is in your colon or big intestine. You said it is actually on your rectum, assuming that is the case than this should not be too serious, however there is one problem. It could always get infected.
Go get some of that hemroids cream. Clean it after you go and apply the cream.
Yes, perhaps a liquid diet is not a bad idea for a few days, I dunno, it might help it might not.
I do know that if it takes too long to heal or if you get other symptoms you could be getting a blood infection in which case your options are see a doctor or die.
Good luck.
well even if you had a hemmorhoid the doctors don’t really do anything about it. They tell you the basic over the counter stuff.
I’ve also had fissures. THe only thing that might help is taking some stool softeners for a while. You also want to keep the area clean. You don’t want that to get infected. You can get all different kinds of wipes now. I think there are some made for hemmorhoid sufferers also now. That will help keep it clean.
Thats what I had to do after I had my kids to get mine to heal. Try not to push so much. Try to relax and hopefully it will heal. It will take a while. It seems like you will heal and feel better then all a sudden its back. But it will go away if thats what the problem is.
But if it continues to hurt ALOT for more than two weeks or so I’d say that you would want it looked at by a doctor. I know it sucks not to have insurance but if you call a local doctors office you can get an idea how much a doctors office visit costs. AND if you do end up going and they suggest a certain medication make sure to mention you don’t have insurace. They will give you their "samples" and you won’t have to get a perscription filled.
i have the same problem and my dr told me i wasnot getting enough fiber in my diet and put me on citrucell a form of fiber so maybe try and get more fiber in your diet there are lots of food that has natural fiber in it vegetables ,fruit oatmeal is an excellant source of fiber hope this helps you might tru citrucell or metamucil you don’t need a precription too purchase them
Seriously, suck it up and go to the doctor!
You probably have internal hemorrhoids. These are small blood vessels near the surface of the skin, and they tear open as you have a bowel movement. I am a physician and I suggest you go to a health food store (maybe even Wal-Mart) and look for a vitamin called RUTIN…take it for several days and the problem should disappear…it is not expensive…also for sometime, you should try to drink more liquids and eat more fruit…it will keep the stool softer and cause less bleeding.
Sometimes the problems that don’t have pain are the ones that you NEED medical help from. Messing around with this type of thing would not be a great idea – even though going to a doctor isn’t one of your options – I’m afraid to say bud that you should really head there… you can’t put a price tag on your health. Bad health = missing work/school = no job/no education = yourself in a worse situation. Life is too short to dally around with health issues that can be corrected before they go too far. Hope all works out for you!
Better exclude any Hemorrhoids (piles) since you are having bleeding whenever you pass motion. As it is bleeding profusely you may become anemic. Piles require surgery , or ligation or symptomatic treatment depending on the condition of the piles whether it is first degree, second degree or third degree of piles. Whatever it may be you have to consult the doctor..
I’m sorry but unfortunately you will need medical tests. The bleeding could be simple or severe. Without a doctors visit there is no real way to know if this is serious. I can tell you that rectal bleeding can be VERY serious. Find a free clinic and start there. You need to get help and you need not to wait. I’d hate to think that you bled to death because you didn’t think you could afford the care. Good luck
well you better see the doctor insurance or not. i had acute renal failure along with lots of blood loss, almost died. lost 4 pints of blood
OK, I am not gonna say go to the doctor. But by the time you do go it could be too late. You are messing around with danger. I work in a hospital and have had bleeding myself. I was put on antibodies and got over it. But you could be dealing with some early form of cancer.
Rectal bleeding is a sign that something is wrong. It is usually something minor that can be easily diagnosed, but not always. It is, therefore, important that the specific cause of rectal bleeding be identified so appropriate treatment can be started and the problem corrected. Even though rectal bleeding may not be serious, an individual should never assume this to be the case. Most importantly, rectal bleeding may be a sign of rectal cancer.
The Causes of Rectal Bleeding
*Hemorrhoids
*Fistula
*Fissure
*Diverticulosis
*Proctitis and Colitis
*Polyps and Cancer
*Protrusion of the Rectum
The diagnosis is easy to make and effective treatment is almost always available. If you are not embarrassed to place your question on here, you shouldn’t be embarrassed to make a doctor visit either.
