I have irritable bowel syndrome, and I was wondering if it would DQ me from joining the navy reserve Corpsman?
I would like to do FMF. I received a 90 on my asvab, and I have a 3.889 in college classes. Also, i have a slight ringing in my right ear would that DQ me. Are FMF corpsman needed in the reserves.

I am not positive…but I do know that IBS DQ’ed me from re-enlisting after 7 years..I still got an honorable discharge, but I wasn’t allowed to reenlist.
Ringing in the ear, iritable bowl?? Sounds like you already are a Navy Corpsman!
You would have to go see a doctor… a Navy doctor- that you find through your recruiters office. Good Luck (You can find a recruiter office at navyreserve.com).
If your irritable bowel syndrome requires frequent intervention or interferes with your normal functioning it is disqualifying for entry into the armed forces. Your tinitis (ringing in the ear) is not disqualifying by itself, but you might want to get your blood pressure checked.
