I don't know if diet is working! Am I doing something wrong?
5 weeks ago, I starting dieting and I have been interval running almost everyday for an average of 2 miles (I increase every few days, and am up to 3 miles currently).
I’ve also GREATLY cut back on sweets, only eating a little on special occasions such as birthdays. So I eat healthier stuff and less stuff.
At one point, my scale showed that I had lost 5 lbs, but now I’m right back to my original weight, even though I haven’t changed anything with my diet!
Plus, sometimes I think I’ve noticed a difference, but when I look closely, I don’t think I’ve lost a pound! My diet may be working, but it is WAY too slow, and at this rate I won’t make my deadline of losing 12 lbs by April 15th.
What can I do to speed fat loss up? And what am I doing wrong? Please help!
(I can’t eat 6 small meals a day because of school, and do NOT mention anything about acai berries, colon cleanse, diet pills, or whatever)

you can stuff a atkins bar or two in your purse? stop eating 6 hours before you go to bed. double your exercise. you will lose the 12 pounds.
well my health teacher told us today when dieting you must not eat candy at all jog around your neighborhood at least 2 times, eat 3 servings of veggies, when having breakfast eat fruit, and play with your friends and play sports.
Your one of those people, where your body fluctuates from 3-5pounds a day. Many people are like this and retain water Weight,. They could be 5 pounds heavier at some points of the day. I am one of these people too. Just know the scale lies, it adds muscle, water, and yes excretions stored in the bowel. I would just judge on outward appearance. Best of luck!
Instead of miles, do hours. 1 hour a day of running 5 times a week. And run/jog the most part. dont walk 50 mins and jog 10 knwo what i mean? some cheat like that.
Count calories. no less than 1200 no more than 1500
Measure with a tape measurer, not a scale. Take measurements every 2 weeks.

Muscle weighs more than fat, and given that you have been exercising daily, it is likely that your muscle mass has increased. Have you tried measuring yourself? That is usually it a better indicator at showing how much body fat you have lost. Try not to beat yourself up too much
