Eat/drink foods/drinks that are high in antioxidants such as berries and green tea. Like, you said, water will flush out your system too. I also suggest you eat a lot of high fiber foods. They’re great for your digestive system. There’s 2 types of fiber: insoluable and soluable. Insoluable fiber will soften your stool and speed transit material through your small intestine and colon. You can get insoluable fiber from brown rice, fruits, vegetables, legumes, seeds, and whole grains (wheat, rice, barley). Soluable fiber will feed good bacteria to your colon to keep it healthy as well as retain moisture in your stool (easier to eliminate from your system). You can get soluable fiber from fruits, legumes, oats, oat bran, seeds, vegetables, and barley. You should eat at least 25-35 grams of fiber per day. It should clean you out. Just be sure to drink lots of water throughout the day to help the fiber swell up and move through your system.
Do one of those detoxification programs; you’ll find them at a health food store.
water. water. water. water……not oils mixed with lemon juice, or any other baloney out there that suggests a bowel cleanse will cure all what ails you.
your body is meant to cleanse out toxins naturally…..so the best way to do so and the safest way is eating good and drinking water.
a colon cleanse will strip your intestines of all the good bacteria which allows for any type of infection like yeast…(ouch!) as well as others…..so, just eat well, and drink water!
There are several ways to cleanse your insides. You can go for colon hydrotherapy, enemas or consume some herbs for cleansing. Or you can go for a fast on juices or a single fruit.
There are of course several cleansing programs. You will need to find one to decide which is the best for you.
Here is a newsletter that I subscribe to on the topic of detox cleansing and which gives out free general information

I drink green tea and prune juice. The green tea is called dieters tea.It works the best.I drink it around 4 pm.By the midnight my lunch is out and it feels so good.Another way is there are clinics that do that.i don’t know what the procedure is called. They clean your intestines out.
There are lots of foods that you can eat, but I know for sure that green tea, lemon juice, and baby broccoli (not all together;separately) are really good cleansers.
If you are worried about "old waste" in your digestive system, many nutritionists will tell you that idea is bunk. Most food is in and out of your digestive system in a matter of hours or days.
That said, the best way to clean out your intestines is by eating a high-fiber diet. This means whole grains (look for high fiber cereals and breads – check the nutrition label for fiber and aim for 5 grams or higher per serving) and raw fibrous veggies like carrots and broccoli. This is a good start.
If you want to do a colon cleanse, a lot of people use psyllium. This is a grain husk that is in a sort of powdery form like oatmeal. You can get it at Trader Joe’s or at health food stores. Usually you mix some with water and drink it, just follow the directions on the package.
Finally, look for "Detox" teas. There are a lot out there. They often contain dandelion and/or milk thistle, which help rid your body (liver, I think?) of toxins. I like Republic of Tea’s "Get Clean."
Water and fiber are excellent detox agents.
