How Do i get a medical cannabis license next month when i turn 18, i have severe Irritable Bowel Syndrome?

i also have gastritis,but there also was an ulcer in my esophagus 2 months back that is still healing. i smoke every day, no other medicine helps my IBS and Gas Symptoms, i also have constant nausea.what steps do i have to take to obtain a license?my dad is willing to help me out at all costs with this too.
