Bacteria in the gut not only help us digest our food, but also help produce essential vitamins. There is an increasing body of evidence that the bacteria in the intestine are also necessary for a strong immune system and many other biological processes. This would be considered a symbiotic relationship in this case, because both the host and the bacteria are benefiting from each other.
The "good" bacteria are termed "commensal" bacteria. It is, of course, possible to ingest "bad" bacteria that can harm you/make you sick. Having a strong population of "good" bacteria makes it harder for the "bad" bacteria to find a place to grow, another way they help fight off infections. (FYI, most forms of E. coli are just fine, it is only some strains that are harmful).
I think some of the bacteria in there are e. coli, right? What they do is they absorb some of the nutrients that humans can’t digest from our waste, and they give off certain nutrients that we can absorb (at least i think thats how it works). I don’t know the name of the relationship, but its the one where both species work together for a mutual benefit
hi bacteria helps to digest our food we have gd bacteria and bad bacteria but we need both they are really important to our life hope i was some gd
The relationship is symbiosis: both bacteria and humans benefit from it. There are a wide range of B vitamins that our body can not make. Bacteria provide us with these vitamins. Also we can’t digest fibers. The bacteria in our intestines break it down and make it more digestible.
