does consuming a lot of fiber rid the system of parasites?
I don’t want to have to be checked for worms or parasites by the doctor because then my parents would have to know about the appointment because I do not have a driver’s license and they would have to drive me. I know they’ll find out, but I don’t want my parents to know immediately. Will increasing my fiber intake and making more frequent bowel movements cleanse me free from parasites? Also, how are intestinal worms or parasites so harmful? Are they really that bad?
I don’t want my parents to know because I’m embarrassed and I want to handle it on my own, not because they’ll get mad. I don’t want to have to have a doctor look at my asshole, I can’t even look at it myself.

1 – All you do for a parasite test is put some feces in a small container … no direct physical exam of your gut is needed.
And why do you think you have parasites?
They are RARE!!!!
They are horrible and you need medication to kill them. Fiber won’t really help this situation at all.
From the web:
1) Papaya seeds can help get rid of intestinal worms, although modern medicines often work better. Papaya seeds must be dried in the shade, powdered and kept in a bottle. Two teaspoons of powder is mixed with a glass of milk. Drink this at bedtime. Repeat for three
2) Crush one handful of pomegranate leaves and boil with a glass of milk. Drink half of it early in the morning on an empty stomach (before breakfast). After two hours, drink the rest of the milk.
3) There are various ways of killing worms to ensure a healthy living. Drinking a lot of water along with increasing one’s consumption of fiber can help a great deal in the elimination of worms from our body. Another way to ensure the killing of worms is to avoid the intake of carbohydrates which are found in refined foods, fruits and in juices. Instead one should increase the consumption of raw garlic, pumpkin seeds, pomegranates, beets and carrots.
More Tips for Killing Stomach Worms:
Consume more raw garlic, pumpkin seeds, pomegranates, beets, and carrots, as all of them have anti-worm properties.
Drink a lot of water to enhance good bowel, which will in turn promote elimination.
Consumption of fiber also helps get rid of worms.
Add a number of probiotics to your diet to prevent the parasites from spreading.
Digestive enzymes help in restoring the intestinal tract to its normal state. This makes it inhospitable to parasites.
Consistent doses of Vitamin C and zinc also help in reduction of worms. However, vitamin C dose should be lowered in case of diarrhea
Why do you think you may have worms or parasites? Look up on Google "intestinal worms." See if you have the symptoms and signs of parasitic infestation. If you do, then no. increasing stool bulk and frequency of bowel movement will not rid you of the parasites. In fact, it may hasten the problems the parasites cause. A single female parasite is capable of producing from 3,000 to over 100,000 eggs per day. Symptoms of parasitic infestation are weakness, anemia, stomach bloating, constipation, lowered immune system, viral, bacterial and fungal infections. It is often possible to see some worms in your stools. However the sizes of parasites vary from microscopic to very large. One can become the host of parasites from a number of sources, water and food , air you breath, sexual contact, etc. Since it is deleterious to your health, and possible for others to become ‘infected’ from the parasites you carry, it is important to have the matter cleared up as soon as possible. Your parents may fuss about having to take you to the doctor’s office, but they will be more upset if all of you become ‘infected.’
