I’m not sure what you mean by colon cleanse, but there are very few reasons you would need to clean out your colon. If you are going to get a colonoscopy, than your doctor should have given you something to mix up and drink beforehand, and given you instructions on what else to eat/drink in preparation. If you are doing some kind of cleanse that is not supervised by a doctor, you’re running the risk of dehydration, electrolyte imbalance, diarrea or even constipation. Society is weird about these things… every organ in your body is made to perform certain functions (waste removal and some absorption in the colon’s case). You don’t need to help it, because in most cases, you will actually be hurting it. Talk to a doctor, or avoid the "colon cleanse" completely.
Colon clensing is over-rated, however, if you choose to do so, it is very important to hydrate.
