I would suggest a radical diet change. You may not like that as an answer, but it’s the only thing that works.

Eat heathier and make sure you add fiber into your diet.
There is a prescription medication for this condition but I don’t know the name, ask a pharmacist and see if your doctor can prescribe it.
If it is diarrhea go on the B.R.A.T diet consisting of: bananas, rice, apple sauce, and toast. If it is constipation eat lots of fiber which is in whole grains and green vegetables.
Lots of fiber to keep things moving. Oat-bran in your cereal. Prunes. Metamucil is good. You can’t overdose on that stuff. Drink lots of fluids.
I use Chia seeds and it seems to work real well. They are bought at some grocery stores and are pretty expensive but are worth the money. I also put a link on here so you can check out more info. Best Wishes
