Your stool is green because it is passing through your gastrointestinal system too quickly.
Bile makes your stools green. However, as the stool passes through the large intestine, the digestive process turns it brown.
If your stool passes through your large intestine too quickly, this is called "rapid transit" or "decreased colonic transit time".
There can be a number of reasons for this. Since you don’t mention any other signs/symptoms (abdominal cramps, nausea) or medications (such as laxatives or antibiotics), I’m assuming this hasn’t been going on very long. Anything that causes diarrhea (i.e., gastroenteritis or "stomach flu", food poisoning, certain medications) can make your stool green.
If this has been happening for more than a week, you might want to see a physician.
well it shouldn’t be like this so i recommend you to go with a doctor
Great reply July, that was a very informative post. I think may the original poster could be taking far too many laxatives/high sugar diet also. You never know.
